Unit 213 is great! We chose it because the back bedroom has a bunk bed set up with a huge queen bed which is perfect for our three boys we travel with. Property mgmt is super responsive (Padre Escapes). We had an issue with the AC not working and leaking water all in the unite and Padre Escapes and Gulfstream both responded quickly to resolve the issue.

We had a wonderful time staying at Gulfstream. It's so easy to go from the beach to the pool. The pool was large enough for a lot of people. The room 213 was beautiful and decorated like home. It was very clean. My only complaint was the windows from the bedroom looking out on the ocean were so dirty it was hard to see out of them.

No hot water out of shower head in bath with tub. Had to either take a bath or all four use shower in one bath. Maintenance checked tub temp but not shower. No action taken to correct problem.

This place is such a gem! The condo was clean and well maintained and the location was absolutely perfect! The beds were super comfortable and the view was spectacular! The on site staff were friendly and very present! We are already planning our next trip back! (The coffee pot does not work well, be prepared for that)

We really enjoyed the place, and the location was awesome. The only complaint is trying to figure out the living room tv. We had 3 people from 3 different age groups that could not figure it out and we finally had to call maintenance.

This was a 60th birthday girlfriend getaway! The ease of check-in was perfect, calling to ask question after hours was followed up the very next morning! Great customer service from Padre Escapes. The owners of the condo did a wonderful job and we were all very comfortable in the very sere, well appointesurroundings.only thing needed was a new coffee maker, this one kept dropping g grounds into the pot.

For a property that is over 50 years old, Gulfstream is a fabulous place to get a way. Couples or family, I have never had a bad experience. Expect my return, soon!!!!

You can't get much closer to the beach. Overall this we a great stay. The property seems well managed and the unit was clean, tidy and comfortable.

The condo was as advertised, and so close to the gulf we heard the waves loud & clear. Only way it would've been better is if the bedroom doors opened to hear them @ night too. Everyone on the property from check in, lounging by the pool, using the hot tub & laundry was friendly and cheerful. Would stay again!

This condo was exactly what we were looking for! Perfect location with plentiful windows that overlook our favorite stretch of beach in the area! Plentiful bedding arrangements, clean bedding and towels, comfortable and updated furnishings and decor. Would absolutely choose to stay here again!

Only thing we didn't like was the limitations on the amount of towels and such that we were allowed. There were six of us staying and was difficult to manage that. We were also only allowed four rolls of toilet paper for our stay. A couple extras would have been nice, especially with four kids. But overall it was a nice place and we were very happy. The view and proximity of the beach was great. The exterior of the building when we drove up was a little scary but the condition of the interiors was great and the staff was awesome to deal with. Loved the pool. Washers and dryers could have used some help. Had to pay the dryer three times to get our clothes dry.

This was the perfect place for me and my family. We wanted something close to the beach, with enough beds and space for our kids, etc. Very clean, right off the beach, complex pool also very clean, etc. We will be staying here again!

Being able to walk out the door and down a few steps to the beach was just what we wanted. The location is also very convenient to restaurants and souvenir stores. And being a short drive to the access road to drive to the beach with all our stuff was great too. Loved the balcony's beach views - morning, noon and night.

Overall, our stay was great. The condo was clean and just what we wanted - right on the beach. Loved the murphy bed in the front bedroom as it gave the perfect amount of beds for our whole family. Response for one problem was quickly addressed by the onsite property maintenance. The other issue was hot water in the kitchen, but we opted to let that be addressed after we departed. Fantastic stay. We have stayed all over the island for forty or so years and this has a great location with phenomenal proximity to the beach. The room was well appointed and was perfect for our family of 6. The beach access road is right around the corner, but is not necessary as the beach is close enough to carry or wagon tarps. We will return in the future. Did I mention you can get from your front door in San Antonio to the sands in front of the condo in 2.5 hours.
