Beautiful little holiday cottage in a quiet nice location. The owners are awesome, lovely people who try their best to help out and make the stay as comfortable as possible. They were always reachable and super friendly. If I could give this property 100 stars I would! We will definitely be coming back again :)

It was near the bus to the city

The location is very nice!

Perfect location, less than an hour from GTB centre, while in a peaceful village, close by ocean shore and natural parks. Quiet spot, surrounded by nature Morgan was really kind and helpful. Secured a WiFi to be accessible directly in the cottage.

Location

You don't expect the meal of the previous guests on dishes, cup, spoons, in the pans and oven, but that wasn't the only thing. The bed can collaps any moment and contains a lot of human materials, filthy, the mattresses and blankets as well, dirty, very dirty. At last the shower..... .... if someone said that they harvested all the mushrooms from the shower walls, because of what I see then, I believe it. This was previously announced as a Superb Cottage, forget SUPER and forget the b as well. Never, never again renting this accomodation again ! Misleading information about having WiFi, there isn't !

Let's start off with the location - when we first arrived in Uggledal, we were stunned by the serene silence around us and how clean and neat the town was. We took a hike to the Superb Cottage and saw an adorable little cabin, close to the owners' well-kept house. We were greeted by Morgan, who turned out to be a very kind, humorous man that it was a pleasure to talk to. He's shown us to the cabin, given us the keys, and left us to enjoy our time in Uggledal. Not once have we felt invigilated, nor were there any signs of apprehension from the owners' side! Just two houses next to each other, living in peace. The cottage / cabin is on a small hill next to the actual house - a small patch of smooth rocks you can climb reveals a stunning view of the calm, picturesque houses below, Swedish in the most postcard-like way imaginable, and surrounded by a beautiful forest. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the shore from there, and you can either go through the forest (where we got a bit lost once, but it was magical!), or take the road through the village. The coast is breathtakingly beautiful, to the point where we just sat there in silence for what must have been an hour before we started talking and walking again.

We were only there for 2 days.. On a more serious, review-like note: there is only one actual grocery/convenience store in Uggledal, from what the map and the locals have told us. It's a big ICA Quantum in the town's centre - very well stocked shop with fantastic employees, but prepare for a walk! It's possible to take a bus there, too.
