Beautifully designed by the host to be a cozy retreat - a home away from home. Breakfast was well-stocked and yummy :) Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Five star experience at this incredible property. Having been in New Zealand for 6 weeks this was our number one accommodation. Exceptional in every way.

The property was modern but homey and welcoming. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Great selection of goodies for the continental breakfast and we loved the fresh apricots picked straight from their tree! Quirky books, local information brochures, history books and games for all ages available at your fingertips. There is also an outside patio with comfy chairs, surrounded by beautiful gardens available for exclusive guest use.

After sitting outside in the patio area for a while, there were a few sandflies- but hey, what can they do about that!

We loved everything! We were greeted by the lovely owner on arrival who couldn’t do enough for us. The accommodation was very clean and homely and the breakfast selection was amazing!

Didn’t have a dining table inside but we could still eat outside or use the coffee table comfortably

Fantastic! So pleased that we chose to stay here. Such a wonderful, clean, spacious accomodation with a homely feel. Our hosts went above and beyond to provide all the comforts of home plus yummy chockie biscuits along with a scrummy fresh continental breakfast! We wished we could have stayed longer and highly recommend.

The choice of breakfast cereal fruit and yogurt provided was exceptional. Also the privacy and location were just perfect for a fantastic six day stay. We would certainly stay here again and plan to do so next time we are in Wanaka.

Location is convenient. The house is clean and comfortable

No cooking stove. Can’t cook. No dining table.

We stayed in winter and it heated up so quickly - lots of nice natural light and double glazing. Beds were super comfortable. The hosts brought out lots of board games for the kids to play with.

A tap in the living room area would have been nice but there were other taps so not a big deal.

Loved the villa! We wish we could have stayed longer. Everything you could possible need, is supplied. It has a very smart layout. It is comfortable, warm and it feels like home.

It was modern, private and warm. The beds were very comfortable snd the bathroom with a bath was a bonus. The hosts supplied a great variety of breakfast options.

A beautifully presented, well equipped and comfortable wee apartment. Lots of yummy breakfast supplies. Beds were super comfy. Toilet was separate to bathroom- a must when two couples are sharing. Lovely welcoming hosts.

Everytime we travel to Wanaka from now on we will look to book this place. Absolute gem!!!

Spacious and attractive sitting room, pretty patio, lovely bedrooms and super modern bathroom . Everything squeaky clean!

The location is walking distance to the Wanaka Tree and downtown shops/restaurants. The unit was spacious with 2 bedrooms and a generous size living room. The bathroom is large with a shower and soaking tub. The toilet is separate but right next to the bathroom) with its own sink. Everything you could possibly need has been supplied yet it’s still organized and clean. The unit is very private. It includes off street parking and your own patio area. The host are extremely helpful but only engage as much as you want. Also, the are very thoughtful and accommodating when it comes to the included breakfast. I would happily stay at Villa 23 again.

The place was clean, and Helen was just awesome and friendly. The apartment had more than we needed. The breakfast provided was more than that, it was plenty of food and a good variety, with fresh fruit from their garden, what a treat. The location is excellent. You can literally walk to most attractions. My family and I loved it, and we'll definitely be going back.
