Great Place with nice views

Great little cabin. Directions were great. Yes, the road is dirt but you aren't on it for very long. Everything in the cabin was wonderful and we especially appreciated the light switches being labeled. Terrific location in the middle of Cherokee and Bryson City. Only one challenge - the sofa is not good (think of your old dorm sofa) - it should be replaced. Other than that...things were really awesome. Thanks

The property was great & exactly as listed, except for the hot tub, which the owner messaged me about as soon as I booked (apparently, this was an amenity they did not put in their listing, but showed up). He wanted to be sure I wasn’t disappointed & he was continuously “on point” with communication & updates. I had a question on Sunday & he quickly called me to respond. Overall, A+++ experience!!!!!

As always an enjoyable weekend away. This is the second time we have stayed in this cabin. Love the furnishings and the most comfortable beds ever. Hope to come back soon.

We loved staying at Toasted Marshmallow! Everything was perfect for my husband and I. It would also work well for couples with small kids (sharing a big bed,) or two couples! The deck with view was perfect and the cabin kitchen seemed very well stocked. Our dog seemed pretty happy to be there as well! They even had food bowls for him, which is something we forgot to pack. I found the decor to be pretty neat as well. Lots of little touches that made it feel like home.

Property is flawless. Great little spot for 2 couples to get away for the weekend. We went to the casino that is about 8 min away. We took a day trip over to Gatlinburg that is about 1hr away through the mountains which is a beautiful drive. Had no issues at all and plan to return.

This cabin was perfect. As others have mentioned, the drive up to the cabin is pretty steep. I have a front wheel drive, Ford Fusion. The first trip up I was like, “oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.” Keep in mind, I’m from Florida, I’m not used to mountains. But by the end of the stay here I felt like an old pro at it. There were truly no issues getting up the drive. As for the cabin itself, it had everything I needed. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. Spices and random utensils in the kitchen (pizza cutter for instance.) Everytime I turned around I was finding some other nice little item which made the cabin feel more like being at home. It was very cold outside, but the cabin was well insulated and always comfortable. Someone else mentioned the water pressure in the shower was low, and that’s why he gave 4 stars. I thought the shower was amazing. Either the owner increased the water pressure, or the other reviewer wanted much higher than average water pressure. The shower was great. And the views!!! Views were amazing. And it was so incredibly close to the start of the drive through the smokies. 10 minutes and I’d be at the park entrance, starting a stunning drive up 441. The cabin was also very, very clean. Both inside and outside are so well maintained. I really can’t say enough about this place. My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 days, 3 nights, and it was beyond what I could have hoped for.

My husband and I stayed for our yearly Anniversary trip. This was absolutely stunning property. The view is beautiful, easy access, super cute and clean. We could not be more satisfied with our stay! We recommend this property 100%.

Place exactly as described and great place to get away and just relax. The dirt/gravel road leading up to it is extremely bumpy but the mountain view is incredible and the cabin is adorable.

The Toasted Marshmallow exceeded expectations. My spouse and I brought our 2 small dogs for a visit to Cherokee/Bryson city and the cabin was everything we needed and more. The bedrooms, living room, and kitchen were decorated very well, had all needed amenities and was very, very clean. The back porch and fire pit was well lit with outdoor bulbs. This was our favorite spot to hang. I highly recommend this cabin and would love to revisit in the future.

This was hands down the cleanest most welcoming place we have stayed. We felt like we were the very first people staying in a brand new cabin! The hill up was not bad, I was able to make it just fine in a Honda Civic. Great distance to WCU and restaurants and Sylva. Would stay here again!

We had an awesome stay. It rained a good bit of the time but it was still an awesome trip. Loves the fire pit. The house was clean and homey. We are talking about booking another trip.

My husband and our two small dogs enjoyed three lovely nights at Toasted Marshmallow. It’s super clean and very well equipped. The view from the cabin is simply stunning. We spent more time just admiring the view than watching tv. Thank you! Highest recommendations.

We absolutely loved our weekend in this cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Movies and games for kids and adults. We loved sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee in the morning. If I could give this cabin 10 stars I would.

We really enjoyed our stay at Toasted Marshmallow! It was very clean and cozy. The view was great and my kids loved the little pond out front. It was stocked with a lot of main necessities such as aluminum foil, garbage bags, paper towels, pots and pans ect. The owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back in the future!!!!

This was our second stay and it was just as great as the first time! The house is clean and in a good location to be able to do all the things the area has to offer.

Cabin was located just a few minutes from town, and the perfect size for my husband, another couple whom were friends, and myself. Beautifully decorated, very clean, and had everything you needed for the weekend besides food. The fire pit with large lounge chairs was great for relaxing, and the twinkle lights gave a great calming light to listen to the cadence of crickets. The mountain view was gorgeous. Communication with the property manager was great. The only thing we had any negative remarks on was only the drive up the mountain. It could use some grating, the rocks were chunky, however, it is on a mountain and should be expected. Wonderful place and I would definitely recommend staying here if you were ever in Whittier or Cherokee!

Property was just as pictured and described! We enjoyed our stay with one exception: the mattresses are shot!! We didn’t expect that from premier hosts but you may not realize they need replacing.

Beautiful views of the mountains from the bedroom. Lovely garden area with pond. Enjoyed watching the tadpoles and fish. Always such a pleasure to stay at the home of Chuck and Sandy. Our first go-to for all our stays.

Very cute little cabin with wonderful porch and a stunning view. We ate every meal on the porch! Loved the fire pit. Got to hear a symphony of birds/bugs/frogs! Mosquito zapper kept the biters away. Very homey and well-laid out. But only 10-15 minutes to Sylva/Bryson City. Nice to be able to bring the doggos, even if they aren't allowed on nearby trails! We had a wonderful time and hope to come back!

Great scenic maintained property with all the amenities. Wildlife abundant... Beaver, wild turkey and coy pond was beautiful. We stayed during a tornado warning it was scary but we survived it and the wildfire on the other side of the mountain. Overall, kudos to the owner. Love our special down time and vacation.
