It’s hard to find 4 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms at an affordable price which this was but set your expectations properly before renting. Great location but picture sliders that are hard to open, close and secure with no screens. No screens on the windows. A propane grill that is on its last legs and they don’t provide propane. Overgrown bushes so you can’t see the water from the first floor or deck. A dining room table with a sticky finish so you can’t play cards without improving a tablecloth. Internet that was out until Thursday on a Monday to Saturday rental because the owner didn’t pay the bill and the management company couldn’t make it happen. The owner hiding behind a blind LLC so not reachable. When the internet was provided it was a hotspot with very low bandwidth. A master bedroom that has two queen beds jammed in it so you have to walk sideways to get around the room. Only thin bedspreads provided with sheets. No blankets. All mostly easy fixes but clearly no interest to address any of it. Again very basic beach house except the two nicely upgraded kitchens but minus a Kuerig. Also a small table and only 2 deck chairs in a house that sleeps 14 or so.

Holds a large family for get-togethers, lots of room for cooking and eating together.

We loved 3 things - the location, how well it was stocked (to make meals), property mgmt responsiveness.

Here were the drawbacks to this house- only one coffee maker that worked, one table had a wobbly leg, one kitchen drawer was broken, the outside shower could be improved. Sounds like "rich people" problems, right? The house had some shaggy spots but that's how a beach house should be. We had a couple of "needs" while we were there and Vacasa was fast and very responsive to each request. We had 2 babies and the house worked great for our family situation- great space to be spread out and large enough to come together. The beach access was excellent. We had a great time and would stay there again. I would really give it 4 1/2 stars.

We visit folly 2x per year. This property needs many improvements! Management company was notified. We read the reviews before visiting and was optimist. Read the other reviews.

The upstairs of this property had big rooms & a wonderful view of the ocean. The downstairs had the same great views & a big kitchen. The bedrooms downstairs were small, not enough room to move around. The bathrooms were small & the toilets werent bolted to the floor. the living room downstairs was also small so we used the upstairs as our family sitting area. .There was a lot of dog hair on the furtniture left over from previous guests & a lot of sand on the floors.

Location is good, walking distance to pier and restaurants. House needs some TLC, air conditioner couldn’t keep up with cooling. It was 78% upstairs, uncomfortable for sleeping.

Loved that it had 2 master bed rooms!

The size worked well as we had family members between the ages of 1 and 83. The layout was great for family and the big room upstairs was a great gathering place. It lacked enough kitchen towels (only had thin paper towels) and potholders so might want to bring your own. Plenty of parking and access to beach is great! Locks on sliding doors were difficult to use and some electrical outlets did not function. After staying in a vacation rental, My husband always asks me: would you stay there again? The answer is yes but might look at other properties also, ie I wouldn’t just go back to this place on a return visit to Folly.

This home worked well for our 6 adults, 3 children under 3 and 2 dogs. Having 2 well stocked kitchens was awesome - we cooked every night. Loved the table for 10 upstairs and a smaller gathering area downstairs. Heads up: the bedrooms are tight with limited storage space. Good hanging but not enough drawer space. Bathrooms are also tight, no place to put anything off the small counters. There's a nice washer/dryer so pack less and enjoy the beach!

Three generations stayed at Aloha for a week. The location was great- close to the center of Folly and right on the beach. There was plenty of room for our group of 13. I was worried prior to staying based on previous reviews. However, there must have been some updates made as the walkway to the beach looked new - no issues with it. The place was clean and had plenty of towels (given 2 bath towels per bed which was nice to not do laundry mid week!) The two fridges made it easy to store everything. We noticed a wasp nest while staying and someone took care of it quickly- also commented that some light fixtures were out and someone brought light bulbs- wrong size but the response time was appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

The home is so much more than what you see in the photographs. The space is efficiently used to afford every comfort of home. There is sleeping options ranging from bunkbeds to a king bed. The two kitchens had everything needed to prepare meals and store foods in the refrigerators. While we had no littles on this trip, the home has abundant sand toys available for shoreline play. The deck was furnished with comfortable furniture and a gas grill. While we didn't use the grill, it was nice to have it available. The views from the two balconies will remain in our memories for years to come. Checking in and out was seamless. We hope to return in the not-so-distant future.

Great home for multiple families. Two levels, each with 3 bedrooms and full kitchen. Beautiful views, new decking and very clean! Hope to return next year for the race to save Folly’s Lighthouse!!

We had a group of 8 family members stay at the house. So much space in there! The balconies on the back the house were the highlight of the trip. Absolute perfect view of the sunrise, and very comfortable rocking chairs! Kitchens were fully stocked of supplies, and I mean FULLY stocked! There was even a garlic press in one of the drawers! The house could use a few minor updates, but once you see the view off the back decks, those updates don't really matter much. This was one of the best rental houses we've ever stayed in, and we really look forward to renting this property again! Everything about it was exactly what we were looking for.

Dirty, not cleaned well, wood table in back comes apart when you pick it up with exposed nails. Peeling paint and wall paper, rust in the inside and outside, lose walk way, bugs. The view is amazing. The owners obviously are not concerned. I loved Folly Beach, the Management Company was great. I would never rent this property again.

The house was great. We had plenty of room and loved the 2 kitchens.

The place was beautiful and very close to the beach which was a huge plus. We were a party of 10 adults 2 children under 4 and 2 dogs. If at anytime we needed assistance they was quick to answer and help.

Mattresses are HORRIBLE! Carpet is so filthy you will want to leave your shoes on! Deck is dangerous with nails sticking up and rotted hand rails. Water pressure is terrible. Furniture is old, worn and dated. No lock on king room sliding door. Dishwasher latch does not work properly and needs to be repaired. One extra blanket for 12 beds. No screens in any window, door or covered porches! So don’t expect to enjoy the ocean breeze unless you like mosquito bites and crickets in your house. Eave of the white house next door is infested with bats. If you enjoy bats, you can watch them from the covered porch. They come out around 815 pm. Location is the only redeeming quality. This house is extremely overpriced for the condition it is in.

This is a nice house for a large group. Plenty of beds, mattresses were not all that great but that seems to be typical of rentals. The two kitchens were nice for all the "cooks in the kitchen". The dishwashers were a little tricky to get loaded and running. The house is close enough to town that you could walk and not have to fight the traffic and parking. Over all, we had a great stay with beautiful weather. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous. If you walk (or drive) down to the Folly Beach County Park, you have a great view of the sunset.

Great house to accommodate a large crowd. We visited to attend the College of Charleston graduation and were able to accommodate enough family to celebrate afterwards. The nice large table upstairs was perfect for all of the food. Two kitchens make this house ideal for a family vacation. We visit Folly often and would rent this house again.

The tables were so sticky from previous guest that playing poker was extremely difficult. We had to put a bed sheet down on the table in order to get the cards and chips not to stick. Other than that the house is exactly as expected.

We visited for a weekend wedding on the beach. Location of property was fantastic. Loved the beach access. House had ample room for our party of twelve. Had a couple issues we addressed with rental agency and appreciated the quick response. Overall would stay at this location again.

The area was very nice, the view was amazing, the second floor was awesome for the teens and they felt like they had their own apartment up there. Unfortunately the internet did not work the whole time, one of the rooms had a terrible odor like a dead animal so we could not use that room which my daughter really wanted (this was her birthday trip) the cable was not connected, the bathrooms were pretty run down, the kitchen sink water barely came out, the back sliding door of the bedroom did not have a lock, only a stick to keep it shut which was a bit stressful as I was alone with my kids and the back door on the porch was completely broken with a baby gate up that was hard to use and rusty. Updates to this place would make the stay a lot more satisfying but I would expect much more at this price. I did text the office and also left a message with no response. Overall I had to give a 2 star rating but these things are all fixable so hoping it will help the owners out. I do not like complaining but I do feel in this instance if I was the owner, I would like to know so I could remedy the issues. Hopefully this helps!

This house was perfect for our Group. It was right on the beach and close to downtown Folley. Plenty of beds, and space for large groups. Highly recommend it!
