The location is near all the attractions in Kota Kinabalu.

Price is cheap. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with a lot of baggage. But if you are staying for short periods of time and you didn’t have a lot of bags, you can consider this hotel.

So bad. My room is in another building. I climbed up 3 stairs because this place has no lift whatsoever. The stairs are so small and steep. Then I reached at 3rd floor without knowing that I have mistakenly went to the wrong building. I had 15kg of bags with me. Then the staff told me that my room is actually on a different building, also at 3rd floor. So I went to that 3rd floor again with a faulty card so I cannot enter the room. What a miserable experience. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

1. The check-in process: The receptionist told me that my room was not existing while chewing some gum (very impolite!)! The room needed to be cleaned by the time I arrived which required me to WAIT! I arrived at 3-4 PM, what do you mean the room is NOT ready?

Cheap & cheerful hotel. Everything you'd expect from a hotel in this price range. Location was good walking distance from all the attractions. Decent WiFi.

1st room the aircon sounded like it was going to take off. They gave us the room next door & the aircon leaked a lot. They gave us some towels & apologised.

One staff willing to help us carry out luggage to our third floor (no elevator) room

It's a scam. Booking.com provided a picture of oyo hotel elsewhere with different type of room and even different reception counter. The description for family suite is 2 queen beds in a spacious room but we got 1 queen and 1 single beds in a tight fitting room. Price is said to be from 100++ discounted to rm74, but it has always been that price. Please rename your 'hotel' to backpackers hostel if you're not providing basic necessities such as elevator to the 3rd floor with narrow staircases. Towels were not in the room when we arrived, and when requested, we were given bath mats! We ate,showered and quickly left the 'hotel' in less than 3 hrs.

Room 1001- its a terrible room. Pillow and comforter smells unpleasant. Aircond was noisy. The sinky in the toiler broke with sharp edges. Room wall paint/wall paper already scrapped out. Curtain not properly in placed. Well, its not about what i compained. I understand, Its a 80rm/night room. But as a paying customer and even for a short 1 night stay, i should've been given a better room as i've made the booking months early. In my case, i reached hotel late due to late delayed flight from KL However i have inform about my ecpected arrival time. Having that kind of room is dissapointing. I've been sleeping in many OYO chain hotel before and byfar this is one of the worst. Please improve. And my suggestion, well in mycase, dont assigned customer to a room that is not pleasant to stay.

No elevator. Only one socket provided. Far away from our bed. The bed sheets too dirty. The bathroom was like reservoir. Water not properly drained.

The location was good and near to the town.

The aircond inside our room was malfunctioning, but the problem solved by the staff was very late and slow. After several attempts asking for the solution, then only we were given a new room.

No hot water in my room and there was no refund or change of room possible..

location is good & price is cheap

need to climb the staircase to third floor for family room. so not so convenient for children & elderly. The room was not service & clean up on the second day.
