The property has a beautiful ambience which made it a joy to stay there. The welcome bottle of wine and selection of syrups was very kind. The apartment was very comfortable, with lovely views over the Loire and only a 10 minute walk into town. The hosts were quick to respond to questions.

I stayed when the weather was unusually hot so it was a little warmer in the apartment than I would have liked. Opening the doors meant letting in the road noise from just below the apartment.

Absolutely everything! This delightful apartment is simply superb. It is in a perfect location for discovering Saumur and the surrounding areas. It has safe parking, so you can leave the car behind and discover so many sites on foot. There is a market and some lovely shops and plenty of beautiful historic houses to view. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and the hosts have considered all your needs. It feels like home and you settle in very quickly. The bed is very comfortable with nice linen. The kitchen area is very good and if you don’t want to take advantage of the many restaurants available you can self cater with ease. The hosts have done so much to help you feel at home, including a superb bottle of wine waiting for you. Thank you so much, we hope to return next year.
