Location fab - short walk to the prairion lift. It was clean, tidy and comfortable. The inside was great overall.

We were given the wrong self check in code the day before our visit. We tried calling the numbers to no avail which made us panic at 11pm with 2 kids. Eventually we tried another number in the email and got through to someone who gave us the correct code. They had actually given this correct code a while ago but I went with the one they provided the day before - they were quite defensive about this error. I understand mistakes happen and they did apologise in a defensive way. We were also repeated told not to worry about the steep drive as it was heated. We tried to get out once with our car and ended up skidding back into the wall which scratched our hire car. Then when it came to check out we literally couldn’t get it out. We had to spend hours trying to fight against the snow to clear it so the tyres didn’t skid. We used all available grit, of which there wasn’t much. When we called the company to ask what was happening with the heated drive and to check it was actually on we were told it was broken! If we had know that before we would have reconsidered the type of car etc. When we called the agent they weren’t very helpful. Luckily we had friends local who brought us snow chains and we had time before our flight. Otherwise we would have missed it.
