This property is exactly what our group of eight skiers/snowboarders needed; plenty of beds to sleep in, multiple spaces to hang out, and three bathrooms. The house had a variety of board games, including our favorite - Catchphrase (we forgot to bring ours so we were thankful to be forgiven for our mistake). 2nd floor dining table was large enough for our group to play cards/games. Dishwasher made cleanup easy. Beds/pillows were comfortable, even the trundle beds. Kitchen was stocked with utensils/supplies. We did not use the fire pit, as the area was covered with snow. However, the relative seclusion was nice, and the location about a mile below the ski hill was great. Everyone in our group was more than satisfied; even one person said upon first inspection "This place is better than the pictures!" We would recommend this property to other large groups.

We had a great time as a family staying at the house so close to Lutsen yet private and quiet! It was perfect!

This VRBO provided ample space for our adult children and my husband and me. We cooked most meals in the well stocked kitchen and played games in the dining room while enjoying the beauty of fresh snow on trees. Great beds and linens and ample bathrooms made it so like home. We snow shoed, downhill skied, and visited the winery! Thank you so very much!

Beautiful property with plenty of room for our growing family. Perfect location close to trails, restaurants, the winery and a short drive to Grand Marais. Awesome bonfire area tucked away in the woods. Ben was great to work with and was super responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay at this lovely home again. We had family in for wedding. House accomadated 6 people from 2 families very well. Bathroom on each floor was great. Will stay there again if in the area.

Great cabin for families! We had a group of 4 adults and 5 children and were able to fit easily into the cabin. Stayed in the summer time. Great location close to the alpine slides and gondola of the lutsen mountains. Nice swimming pools for young kids at the base of Onion river. Temperance river state park always has some nice hiking. Cabin does not have central air conditioning so it can get warm despite use of standing air conditioners. The cabin was great for safety with the kids even though there were lots of stairs because there were baby gates and doors that could be used. Coffee making options was incredible. Firepit area was nice. Cabin was probably the cleanest Vrbo I have stayed in which was very appreciated.

Great place to stay, guys loved how close they were to Superior National Golf Course!! It was nice to have three separate areas within the cabin where we could have some time alone! Highly recommend!!

Great place, great location, very responsive owner. The only downside of the property is that the space used for a second kitchen could be better used for more living room space.

We took a father-son ski trip with a couple friends. We had a great time. You can't ask for a better location to the ski hill (or the golf course in the summer). The house had everything we needed, and was very clean. The owner (Ben) provided great communication. We are already talking about coming back in the summer for some golf!

Went up for a weekend of skiing, this house was in a perfect location (5min drive to the hill) and lots of space to hang out! Slept 10 guests easily. Communication with the host was also great! Will definitely be returning!

Great place to stay and relax after a long day of snowboarding. Nice heated floors and plenty of space to hangout in.

Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for overall rating is because of the lounge areas. Not much furniture to relax in. Small love seats and maybe there could be better use of some of the open areas. Not everyone wants to go up to the 3rd level in front of a TV to relax- especially if that’s were the kids are staying. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

My husband and I and our kids and their spouses rented the property for a birthday celebration weekend. We had a blast! The house was amazing and fit our needs perfectly. The house was very clean and all her needs were met. We loved the area and had a great time!

Great place to stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was great for a couple of families to be together but also be able to spread out and have their own space. Easy location to get to and central for the variety of activities we did throughout the weekend. We enjoyed the property and sitting outside by the fire. Smooth check-in and check-out process. The owner was very nice. He was easy to work with and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

Property is right by Superior National Golf Course and Lutsen Mountain just up the road. Grand Marais is a 20 minute drive and there are plenty of hiking options within a 30 minute drive.Property is well kept and pictures on listing are representative.We enjoyed our stay and will return.Craig

We did a very low key bachelorette party and the space was amazing! Plenty of room and beautiful location! We all said we would come back with families to stay here! Thank you!

Ben was super responsive and a great host. The house was really well stocked and worked perfectly for a family of 10. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get away on the north shore.

Wonderful experience up the shore! Cabin better than described. Hosts incredibly responsive. Great mountain biking and gravel biking nearby. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this beautiful property. Very close to Lutsen which was wonderful as we were up for a ski weekend! Space for everyone. Was great that the bedroom/sleeping space was available on each level. Also nice to have a bathroom on each floor. Ben was available to help answer any questions we had on the property. Will definitely rent again when up in the northland. Also a bonus to have a winery within walking distance of the home!!
