Great property, and excellent staff. Especially Handun - He went out of his way to show us around the facilities, ensured a very smooth check-in process, personally checked on us if we needed anything, and ensured everything was up to mark. I must say, Handun's hospitality and warmth will definitely bring us back here, he is a top-notch lad, deserving a solid appraisal for his work ethic. Loved the welcome drink!

Not a fan of the half-board per our booking as the buffet was 'mediocre' - for want of a better word. However, we ordered room service for the remainder of our stay and the food was excellent, coupled with the King Coconuts and the Berry Iced Tea! Slight mismanagement of resources during our early checkout as we called thrice for someone to grab the luggage from the room and were promised that somebody was on the way but to no avail. Ultimately had to grab the bags ourselves, [even though we had an infant with us] as our ride to the airport was waiting, and could not afford to miss our flight.

Food is good and the pool area is better for relaxing. Cleanliness is superb. Satisfied Stay

I am so disappointed, first of all my room was not well supervised before arrival, one bathrobe was missing, bedsheets were teared, and most disappointedly found cockroach in the birth room. And at the end billing was not complete by hotel problems, they forget to add one breakfast bill to my totals, later calling me to pay the bill, what I believe is brand like Sheraton can do much better than this. Hope will improve by these comments. Thank you.

Staff are very very rude, the manager (his name is "Emil Gularathnam") almost kicked us out of the room he was talking in a very bad way with an attitude, he shouted at us. room was unclean we found a lizard inside! restaurant service is horrible they took an hour to serve us what we ordered and end up by one missing dish too. it was our last day in Sri Lanka they ruined our trip although all other hotels in 4 different cities were amazing and people there were super friendly exactly opposite what we saw in Sheraton!

The balcony was not clean and the area under the cot did not seem to have been cleaned in ages. The problem was that regular mopping/ swobbing does not seem to happen. Same goes for the corridor outside the room - does not behoove a five star property. We asked for the room to be mopped - these things matter when u travel with a baby who crawls on the room floor. Though the buffet spread was large (veg) - found few dishes very good - very average. Better to have less dishes but more focussed on taste. In room dining had a really limited veg option - when we asked for jeera rice or Indian bread to be sent - we were told its not possible to order items not on the menu. These are simple items - no other hotel has ever said no in my experience.

The resort is right on the beach with an incredible swimming pool and fantastic buffet spreads. Ideal for a beach holiday in every way. The rooms are spacious, their facilities are impeccable and the amenities are perfect. A special mention for Inoka, Lahiru and Amanda for their exceptional service in making our stay exceed expectations!

Their room service needs a bit tweaking. It takes a really really long time to react to your requests be it for towels or water or anything. They're super cordial and wonderful people but their room service needs to be a tad bit better considering the resort standards.

During my delightful two-day stay at Sheraton Kosgoda, with breakfast included, I eagerly anticipated the opportunity to savor a sumptuous Sri Lankan breakfast. The hotel surpassed my expectations, delivering a truly exceptional culinary experience. The delectable spread, accompanied by the friendly and attentive staff, made my mornings truly memorable. Situated near the captivating Kosgoda Beach, the hotel's prime location provided easy access to a plethora of enchanting tourist attractions, further enhancing my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel and I am already looking forward to visiting again soon to indulge in another delightful Sri Lankan breakfast.

Food of the resort was very good, the entire family enjoyed this.

The resort is little away from the main city area, but wasn't that much of an issue, as we could get Tuk Tuks to take us to the city area.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Sheraton Kosgoda and overall, it was a pleasant experience. There were several aspects that stood out during my stay, including the fantastic meals, clean and neat rooms, and the friendly and obliging nature of the front desk, restaurant, and room service staff. The property itself was well maintained, creating a pleasant and inviting ambiance.

One area that could use improvement is the management of the pool area. While the hotel provided a pool for guests to enjoy, the use of the pool by some guests was less than ideal. It was disappointing to see kids in the main pool without appropriate clothing, which affected the overall experience. I would suggest that the hotel be more strict with pool etiquette and consider implementing measures to ensure that all guests adhere to appropriate clothing requirements. This would enhance the overall enjoyment and comfort of the pool area for all guests.

We recently visited Sheraton and it was our honeymoon stay and i should say I was so glad that we selected Sheraton to spend our honeymoon. One day was too short to experience all the facilities they offer but yet we experienced many as we can. Check-in was very smooth and only took very few minutes and escorted to the room by Mr. Emil who is the front desk manager. It was our pleasure to meet such a gentleman who took care of us from checkin to checkout. Since we requested a higher floor room they have allocated top floor room for us which was a great news to start with. When we enter to the room there was a nice bed deco , Fruit basket and cake was waiting for us as honeymoon amenities which was complimentary. More importantly there was note from Mr. Emil to welcome us written by himself which was more personal than printed letters which other hotels practices. Also I should highlight on a small point which catches my eye which is their waste bins. It was segregated into two parts as recyclable side and non recyclable side. This is a small but yet a great gesture taken by the company to segregate the waste from the guest rooms itself which is a great example for others as well. Since we wanted to try out a la carte we booked only on bed and breakfast. So we tried Olive restaurant which is a restaurant and bar. Service was great and we met Mr. Samitha who is another person made our stay more memorable. He was very polite and checked with us at dinner and breakfast both just to make sure we enjoy our meals. Big shout out to Samitha as well to his hospitality also to the barman Thilina who was the barman at olive restaurant. I wish if they had weather blinds at Olive restaurant since it is an outside restaurant as it is bit disturbing on a rainy day. Breakfast was at S kitchen which is their main restaurant which offers giant breakfast buffet. I would say it was the heaviest breakfast we had. Food was excellent. Overall it was a satisfied stay

There was no weather blinds in outdoor restaurant which i believe a must to an out door restaurant specially during the raining season. It is bit difficult to dine at Outdoor restaurant in a rainy day.

Receptionist tried to charge me more than the price of a night for an early check-in.

The hotel is a recently built one with all modern Amenities. In-room TV has a rewind option (via Dialog VIU) so that you can watch selections at your own pace. The spread of options during buffet meals was very good - especially the buffet breakfast was exceptional. I wish to highlight the personal attention of the staff of SKitchen (Buffet Resturant) Chef de Cuisine Prashan Kumara and especially Assistant Restaurant Manager Janindu Meegoda, which ensured all our dietary needs were met beyond our expectations - especially considering our 9-year-old daughter and special complimentary cake prepared for celebrating a birthday. Also, wish to highlight the Little Hatchlings Kids Activity room (Ms. Chadee) for providing a memorable experience for our Daughter.

The Check-In time of 3 pm, could not be advanced even after a advanced request, perhaps due to high occupancy, or we were simply "unlucky". The hotel policy of checking in at 3pm is perhaps not consistent with most other international hotels where it is 2 pm IMHO.

the cleanliness was spectacular. The staff super friendly, always smiling and there is always a person in close by to help you. I would like to thanks Sandali from front desk and Sewmini from breakfast bar in particular. They provided a service I had never seen anything like before.

Outside pool. Breakfast. Restuarants. Facilities. House keeping staff named Shirantha was so kind and responsible.

Bed was not comfort because of pilows.

Staff was really confused - my sleep got interrupted twice by maintenance requests I didn't ask for Food was mediocre This for me was the worst part because it was also the cheapest to solve: the beach chairs are paid for. This hotel is 3x more expensive than most hotels in the island, and they can't provide beach chairs? The value was insignificant, but the fact we were expected to pay was the problem.
