Everything about our stay was amazing! Jody is probably the best host I’ve ever dealt with and the house was in such an incredible location. I highly recommend staying here.

Jody was prompt with communication and the property was beautiful just as advertised. The cabin was cozy and offered a lot to our family. Best of all, there was not an encyclopedia of things to take care of before we left like many other properties. We'll definitely look to re-book when we return to the area! Thank you again Jody!

A beautiful cottage to stay at for Thanksgiving. Jody was a great help with suggestions for activities in and around town. And the sunrises are amazing.

Jody’s cabin was absolutely wonderful. We had a great time in paradise and her cabin was key to our wonderful experience. We didn’t have the best weather but knowing we had the cabin to go home to was awesome. It was so cozy and had everything you needed to feel like home. The view is spectacular. To wake up to that every morning was such a blessing. The fire pit area was so nice and relaxing. Sitting on the porch and listening to the waves of the lake so relaxing and was exactly what we needed. The cabin was so clean. Absolutely spotless and was very welcoming. Her shop also had lots of great souvenirs. We just can’t say enough about our wonderful experience and we will for sure be going back next year.

Simply Superior is Simply Amazing!! From the initial communication to reserve, Jody could not have been more helpful and accomodating. The house.....WOW!! It lacks for nothing and even if it did, the view makes up for everything!! I could have sat on that porch for days and looked at the water....and we almost did! You wake up to the most beautiful sunrise from your bed and lay down at night to the most gorgeous moon rise! It is within walking distance to the stores and restaurants and the neighbors are hidden from view by trees. Stairs to loft are steep and narrow but my 76 year old mother slept up there and did fine. This house is so convenient to the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Whitefish Point and the Falls! You won't be disappointed. We will be back!!!

Absolutely cannot get a better location than this cabin. We were excited just pulling into the driveway. This property has top amenities - more than I can remember to list, but here goes- fantastic view on Lake Superior, looking across to Canada and the shipping lanes, stamped concrete patio at the entrance and out back for a perfect place to relax at a well built firepit, great outdoor setup with furniture, steps down to the lake, grill, complimentary kayaks...and this is just for your outdoor enjoyment. Inside, comfy beds and furniture, quality soft throw blankets, 2 bathrooms, huge roomy loft with AC unit and 2 ceiling fans along with floor fan and windows to open for cross flow, new washer/dryer, well chosen rugs for wear and tear, beautiful artwork on the walls. This space has just been thoughtfully planned out to use every inch smartly- true economy of space and nicely done. We would rent from Jodi again in a heartbeat. Besides the wonderful communication, just nice to meet her and talk with her at her shop a couple of times. There was a planned power outage for a couple hours, Jodi let us know, but the property has a generator so not a beat of power was lost nor did affect us in any way. The smaller kitchen is well equipped and stocked- can't think of anything we were in need of. I can't stress enough, how well cared for and clean this cabin was. Little things that most rentals forget were here- nightlights! How simple & yet so helpful. Thank you Jodi for the best stay

Beautiful home with spectacular views out every window. The home is well equipped and very clean. The backyard was wonderful, looking out on the lake. Enjoyed sitting out with the fire in the evenings. Jody was very communicative and welcoming. Highly recommend.

The cabin was well equipped, peaceful, and in a beautiful place. Our group of 60 something’s had a great time. The view of the bay is amazing. Jody checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It is a great place to stay and do day trips.

As mentioned, Jody is a wonderful host!! She was quick to help with anything we could think of :) The property is absolutely gorgeous. Kids loved the water access. Dog loved the space to run around. We loved that the property was secluded but just around the corner from a restaurant (The Inn was very delicious!), a convenience store, and Jody's wonderful shop! Definitely recommend & would stay again.

A beautiful location and the cabin was perfect for us!

We had an excellent stay in Paradise, MI. The cabin is beautiful, quaint and filled with all we needed for convenience. You will not be disappointed in booking your vacation at this spot. Our Host Jody was sweet and made sure our stay was a memorable one. Quiet nights by the fire and the sounds of summer with crashing waves was the ultimate addition. Bring your family - I am sure glad we did. My husband stays here in the winter with his snow riding buddies and now he has a new perspective with a summer stay. We had a great time at the cabin. Our two families and dog fit just fine. It was full of beautiful views of Lake Superior. We got to watch fresh snow fall and enjoy the falls and whitefish point. The cabin had everything needed for cooking our meals and relaxing and playing games. Jody as a great hostess and was always able to answer any question quickly and was easy to get along with. We definitely plan to return and would like to spend time there during other seasons

This cute, cozy cabin was comfortable for two couples. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It was great to have two recliners and a reclining sofa to relax in the evenings after long days of snowmobiling! The views of the lake were amazing. We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunrises over the lake while we sipped our coffee!

The views of Lake Superior are amazing! The cabin is just perfect! Clean, well maintained and organized. Such comfortable place to relax and the perfect location for outdoor activities! We brought our little Shitzu-Bichon Millie and she was happy and just lived running outside in the snow. We will definitely stay here again, Jody is an amazing host and did a great job communicating with us before and during our stay.

My husband and I have been wanting to come to the UP for a long time and this first visit at Jody's cute and cozy cabin was absolute perfect! It was just us and our little kitty (which Jody kindly allowed us to bring) and the cabin was more than enough space. The upstairs loft would be perfect for kids or other couples and the extra bathroom in the main part of the cabin was great; very cozy but perfectly suitable. All the bathrooms had handy grab bars for anyone with mobility issues. We arrived right after a good amount of snow had fallen and it was so nice to step into a very clean and cozy little cabin. It's very obvious that Jody takes great pride in her cabin and keeps it very clean and good condition. The views of Lake Superior from the cabin were wonderful. There's a nice set of stairs to the water, but realize that there is no beach down below to stroll along. In warm weather you could probably go for a dip from the steps though. The cabin is very private even though there is easy access to the local amenities. Location wise, the cabin is a great hub for all the natural attractions in the area. The Tahquamenon Falls are less than 20 minutes away. If you're looking for a good place to stroll the shores of the lake and go rock hunting, Whitefish Point at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and lighthouse is nearby. For the more adventurous, the 20-mile dirt road trek to the Crisp Point Lighthouse is absolutely beautiful. Jody herself is a wonderful host! She is so kind and helpful and makes it clear that she is always available via text if you need anything. Thank you, Jody, for making this such a perfect and memorable vacation for us. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was beautiful, had every amenity you could want. Beautiful and comfortable furnishings. So quiet at night but you could always hear the waves. Slept great. Jody the host is exceptional. Couldn't ask for more except more time there...

We were left speechless upon arrival because the views, even from the inside of the cottage, are spectacular! Easy to find, easy check in and easy to just lay back and relax! Jody was phenomenal; she thought of everything and every little away-from-home detail you could imagine was inside the cottage. We needed for nothing! We had bonfires every night, watched the sunrise in the morning and went exploring (falls, Whitefish Point, Crisp Point, Vermillion Nature Perserve, Brimley, ect). Our son (20) and daughter (15) took over the loft. They basically had thier own bathroom as well (Harry Potter cubby-potty under the stairs is adorable). My husband and I enjoyed peace and quiet with our own private suite. Perfect for dogs too! Our bulldog slept like a baby; safe warm and happy just like at home. The newer built stairs led right down to the water and on the calmer afternoons we were able to sit on the rock wall and listen to the waves, watch birds and drink our coffee. We really cannot say enough lovely things about this rental. Thank you, Jody! Definitely will be back!

Great vacation!

Simply Superior is a GREAT cabin. The interior pictures and descriptions are accurate. The outdoor pictures should be updated with the beautiful stamped concrete area for the fire pit and also the front entrance. I would add that the privacy is really excellent. The cabin sits ~ 500 feet from the road so you don't hear or see traffic yet it is in the middle of Paradise and you can walk to breakfast. The cabins to the north and south are not seen because of the trees. We never saw anyone in four days. My family drove out to White Fish point ( about 11 miles ) at 11:00 PM. Great views of the Milky Way and thousands of stars. We also hiked at Fiborn Quarry an abandoned Limestone Quarry from 1930. Very interesting Overall we were very pleased with Simply Superior and Jody is a great host!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this house in Paradise on Lake Superior while we explored Tahquamenon Falls and the Shipwreck Museum/Whitefish Point. The home had everything we needed and the kids loved sleeping up in the loft. We enjoyed fires every day in the fire pit and took in the beautiful night sky and views of Lake Superior. Beautiful sunrises over the water if you can catch one. There is a very family friendly private beach you can use at the property and the sandbar goes out far which was fun to play on. Jody was a wonderful host and made sure we had all we needed; and even helped us out immediately when we realized we had forgotten an item at the cabin. Thanks for a great vacation, Jody!

The name of this cabin - Simply Superior - is a perfect name for multiple reasons. The cabin is simply superior. It is every bit as beautiful and clean as the photos. It has been designed and decorated so well for a very comfortable stay. The little touches are a cut above - the nice coasters, the warm rugs cozily placed, plenty of plush towels available, and we loved the plush, Ugg brand throw blankets. We were also grateful for the large pile of firewood to be able to make fires in the fire pit. We like cooking so we’re pleased to find a well stocked kitchen. There were plenty of pans, a nice strainer, spatulas and cooking spoons, a good knife set, and other things one would want if you were cooking. One night we even baked pork chops in the small roaster provided in the kitchen. There were also great sticks for roasting marshmallows for s’mores. Jody is a fabulous host. Very warm hospitality and great communicator. The view is amazing! Gorgeous sunrises. You are facing east so you don’t see the sunset but the colors are still gorgeous. Lots of stars and we saw a beautiful full moon. Usually we like to travel all around but the view was so gorgeous that we stayed at the cabin a lot of the time because it was just so beautiful. I was also in the midst of summer graduate classes. I had multiple Zoom classes and meetings and was writing papers. Internet was super. My friend that I was traveling with is 80 so I’m always concerned about mobility ease and comfort of furniture for her (she has an old back injury). Mobility ease was great. No steps into the house from the parking lot. There are a couple of steps down in to the back yard to the fire pit area. She could do the steps with help or she could walk out the front door and walk around with no steps. The couch was very comfortable and worked well for her back. The beds were comfortable!!!!! The showers are both walk in. They don’t have access bars to hold but the smaller shower worked ok to hold the wall. Food - the two food trucks in Paradise were our favorites for food. Ebby’s hamburgers are outstanding. Huge, not greasy, and great flavor. The fish food truck was also great. Actually liked the flavor better than the fish in Mackinaw City and Musining. Fresh Catch Cafe also super! There’s a small grocery store that had a pretty good selection of things for a small place. The cabin and our trip were definitely simply superior! Thanks, Jody!

Our family had a wonderful time! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed (and then some!), and Jody was a very kind and responsive host. The views of Lake Superior were breathtaking. We hope to return and visit again in the future!

We could have not been happier with the experience we had with renting this house! The view was amazing! You get the true feel of a cabin in the north with all the wood finishes in place! Everything you need is in a short walk from the house, the food truck was one of our favorite places to visit. My wife and daughter enjoyed the ice cream the most! Last but not least, Jody….she is the one that made our trip! She is simply amazing to work with. She will make sure you have everything you need from the start to the finish. To be honest we have a hard time leaving a great review….knowing it will help rent this place out more….meaning it will leave less chances for us to come back!😁 We will definitely be back! The cabin was cozy and inviting with a magnificent view of Whitefish Bay and a sandy beach for the kids. Great location, amazing view, the cabin is well equipped with everything you need, we stayed with our 2 and 5 year old kids, they had a great time outside, there is plenty of space for them to run around and play. Internet and reception are very good. Our host answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions about what to do and where to eat. We highly recommend!

Jodi was an amazing host, and was available if we needed anything at any time! She also provided numerous recommendations, all of which were excellent. The cabin was beautiful, and so were the sunrises and sunsets over the lake. Not to mention, the gorgeous trails we hit with our cross country skis at Tahquamenon and the lighted snowshoe trail at night. Such a cozy cabin in such a great spot with plenty to do! We will definitely be back again!

Jody is that best hostess I have EVER had. We were in Paradise for our wedding. Jody was kind enough to leave a wonderful gift for us. She was very responsive to our needs. The cabin looked better in person than the pictures showed. There is plenty of parking and the driveway was cleared. Jody had three feet of snow removed around the outdoor fire pit so we could use it if we choose to. Thank you Jody for an amazing and very memorable stay!!!
