It was a spacious and comfortable home. The view of Whitefish Bay/ Lake Superior is wonderful. The property owners were easy to contact and were quick to respond.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious home. Washer and dryer a big plus! Its so quiet and peaceful, you just hear the birds, the wind blowing thru the trees, and The Lake. Best view of Lake Superior right out front!! One of the nicest homes we've stayed at. Relatively close to all the big attractions of the U.P. As we kept saying, "there is always a view!!"

This home exceeded all of our expectations!! Courtney is very responsive and kind. Unfortunately the power was out when we arrived due to a recent storm, but thankfully was restored 10min after I called her and we were able to reset the water pump w/out any trouble. Minor hiccup that will make for a great memory. Can not say enough about the view! It’s breath taking and the fire pit is perfectly placed to take it all in!! The house accommodated 3 adult couples comfortably and was equipped with everything we needed. One couple said the beds were too firm, but the rest of us loved them.. super comfy after a day of hiking. Plenty of blankets, pillows, and even fans. The showers were divine w/ excellent water pressure. My husband, who is 6’4” loved that the shower heads were mounted higher up;) The town is super cute and I highly recommend getting ice cream from the snowflake food truck!! We explored Tahquamenon Falls and ate at the brewery (whitefish dip and cheese shapes were Amazing!) We bought groceries at The Pantry down the street and were able to make dinner every night in an incredible kitchen (I will miss that kitchen) We also checked out Oswald’s Bear Farm, had low expectations, but was actually pretty cool. We even got to meet Dean Oswald himself! Our kids really wanted to kayak Pictured Rocks but one of our daughters is pregnant and we thought it might not be the best idea, so we did the scenic drive instead and it did not disappoint! Will be back again for sure!!

Our stay near Paradise was perfect. Four women who grew up together met for a week of eating, laughing and touring the sites nearby. The home was so well equipped---just lovely! But... we give the view a 10+ with the most beautiful sunrises. We highly recommend our tours---Pictured Rocks Boat Tour, Tahquamenon Falls, Shipwreck Museum, Oswald Bear Ranch and the Cranberry Farm. Eating---the Brewery at Upper Tahquamenon Falls, the Inn and Wheelhouse Diner (great breakfast) all very good. And we ended an evening by the water with a fire in the fire pit. Thank you to our hosts for help when we contacted and sharing their lovely Lake Superior home.

Everything was perfect! Great location, close to waterfalls, shops, the shipwreck museum, and 1000's of miles of trails to ride on! The house was stocked with comfy beds, linens, towels, and every kitchen appliance you can think of! Roomy enough for 6 people, we only had 4, but it was a great space to relax and reconnect in. The bonfire setting was beautiful complete with views of Lake Superior. We will definitely be back for snowmobile season!

We just loved it! It was peaceful and quiet. It really gave us time together to recharge and be together.

Wonderful place to stay! We escaped the Texas 100+ temps in July to beautiful 70s in the day and 50s at night. So much to do in the area! We did a lot of hiking and visited local museums. We weren’t at the house much, but when we were, it felt like home!

Lovely clean home with all amenities. Centrally located to Mackinac , st Ignace , Sault st Marie . Lake view and fire ring makes for a very nice evening. Eat in and have everything you need including a gas grill! Beautifully decorated and comfortable . Loved our stay! Gracious hosts!

We loved the location close to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. We were able to enjoy all of our evening meals at the house, enjoyed the sunset and the refreshing shower. Loved the memory foam mattresses on the Queen beds. House was spacious and private/quiet. We were very lucky to get sunshine and low 70s in early May.

Extremely clean and comfortable house. Kitchen had everything to stay in for the day. Sunrise over Whitefish Bay was gorgeous. Michael and Courtney were very quick with responses. Definitely recommend.

It was everything that I could have asked for. Spacious and cozy for my larger family. Hoping to come back next fall.

We were in love the minute we walked in the door. The decor in the spacious living/dining/ kitchen area was stunning. The upholstered furniture was comfy and looked new. Everything was spotlessly clean. The homey feel of the cabin was facilitated by incredible attention to detail. The kitchen was well stocked and the dishes were clean and attractive. We made several meals on site and were never disappointed when we searched for cookware of any kind. We watched the moon rise over water from the living room. The wooded setting with a view of Lake Superior was spectacular. We had no need to contact the owner during our stay however should we have had questions they provided us with multiple options for communicating. We would love to stay again sometime.

This property was perfect for our stay in the UP! The house was spacious, clean & one of the best stocked properties we have stayed at. The hosts have thought of everything: comfortable beds, updated bathrooms & washer/dryer for guest use. The view of Lake Superior was spectacular, make sure you rise early enough to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. The location was perfect, close to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point & the shores of Whitefish Bay. We spent our days hiking, so it was nice to come back in the evening to sit by the bonfire, listen to the waves and view the sunset colors then stars over the lake. We would definitely stay again when visiting the Eastern UP!

This property is in a wonderful location, close to Paradise restaurants, very clean, and the owners definitely thought out what amenities you may need! They were also responsive! The view is AMAZING. We stayed with our 3 children, and they loved this home, clean and cozy! We plan to return. :)

This house was exactly what we needed for a getaway in the UP. The view was spectacular, the kitchen was fabulous, and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating, kind, and helpful.

Loved this property! The house was clean and had a large living area and kitchen for the six of us. Enjoyed the beautiful view of Lake Superior- get up early and watch the sun rise. Perfect location to explore the Michigan UP.

This was a perfect fit for us! It was clean and cozy. View was beautiful. Host was great to work with. We felt very welcomed. Also, good location for the activities we planned. We visited picture rocks, Oswald bear ranch, Tahquamenon falls, did the glass bottom ship reck tour and visited white point beach. We give 5 stars and from me that is a great rating because I am very picky and a germaphobe. Thanks!

We decided to change things up a bit this year. Instead of heading to NC for a beach vacation, we decided to go north to the UP. I have to give my wife full credit for this. She picked out the location and the house. Up North was a beautiful house. Very clean, well stocked with all of the house hold items you will need. The big bay windows face to the east, giving you an incredible early morning view of summer sun coming up over Lake Superior! Quite breath taking! The ship wreck muesuem is worth the drive. The falls are great! Two thumbs up to the Michigan state parks! Very nice trails. Oswald's bears were awesome. Definitely worth the drive! Paradise is a nice small town. We ate breakfast at the community center which was a fundraiser for the local fire department. Everyone was extremely friendly. We spent several evenings out by the firepit with a nice fire going. It is right by the water. The string of lights hanging from the trees by the pit is a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

Great family property. Kitchen is a dream to work in. Close to whitefish point and tahquamenon Falls. Only downside is waters edge is not accessible. There is a steep cliff with large sharp rocks at the bottom and the fire pit is close to the edge. Dangerous, especially after dark. Beautiful sunrise and Lake Superior views!

The house was in progress of being resided but the owner lets us know. I was a bit disappointed as I should have paid attention that the beach was not accessible. I had hopes to walk along the beach but no way was this possible. The bugs were absolutely wicked. The owner had yet to have the property sprayed which would have made the stay way better!! That was definitely frustrating. Check out progress was pretty easy but prepared to have to stay around to get the towels in the dryer which basically means you are unable to dry hands off while waiting. We have stayed at oodles of properties and have never been asked to do this. I am hoping that modify this to allow others to not have to do this. We put the towels on speed cycle so hopefully they got clean for the next guests. I had asked about firewood and it was suggested to bring from a larger city, this is not necessary as tons of locals sell it along the roads. Over a great house and would be great for a big family! Nice bathrooms and the king bed was super comfy. Good internet a was a bonus and lakes views superb. No curtains on some windows in master bedroom which we realized the last night that the people that moved in right next door could see in:(

Our stay was excellent, everything we had hoped and more. All the comforts of home, in an awesome location.

Michael and Teresa, we so enjoyed "our" home and also the hand-written note. We did take the scenic by-way, were to the falls and Whitefish. We were so impressed with the view of the lake, I of the sky (checking it out each morning, some nights). The cottage is beautiful. Mary and I loved the kitchen and how well it is stocked. We had all our meals, except the last breakfast, at your dining table, having taken food with us. And we played many games there as well. All of us there, being from the country, enjoyed the privacy and the surroundings. We would thank you so much for providing the "home away from home." May God bless you both for providing all that you did, as well as for other things.

Staying here was like staying at the home of a friend; it was “homey” in all the best possible ways. The beds were very comfortable! The Master bed is like sleeping in a cloud, and the guest room beds were the perfect combination of firm/soft I’ve found in a rental. The sheets were soft and cool, towels super absorbent, refrigerator cold enough for perfectly chilled wine/beer. The home was very clean and well stocked (including laundry facilities and supplies.) Many rentals and hosts are frugal when it comes to those amenities but not this one. They made sure their guests had a true “Home away from Home” experience. Additionally, the view was spectacular! Sitting by a crackling fire under the stars while listening to the waves was wonderful. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone!
