The property was luxurious and spacious and included an abundance of amenities. We had everything we could possibly have needed. The host addressed all of our issues and was available to help us constantly. We appreciated all that he did to help us.

We always do a winter family vacay just after Christmas and New Yrs, have for several yrs, usually near Knoxville area in pigeon forge or Norris lake but decided to go in Banner Elk/Blowing Rock, NC area. This was undoubtedly the best place we’ve stayed, so much room, so accommodating. Large family areas on both main and lower floor made it great for everyone to enjoy. Beautiful bdrms and baths, large game area for game nights. Large gas log fireplace sets the tone on a winter day. Just loved every minute.

We came for a 30th birthday celebration and had an amazing time during our stay. The property was close to EVERYTHING, but you didn’t even need to leave the house, it had everything you could possibly think of. We have ZERO complaints and are already planning our next trip back. The host was very responsive. He was even willing to help with the trash when the dump was closed. The house is beautiful. Peaceful. The kitchen is fully loaded which made it easy for me to cook for 12 people. The outdoor area was incredible. Only “complaint” is the master bed is not that comfortable, made my hips fall asleep during the night. But, I was still able to get good rest. Everyone left saying they had the time of their life and this was one of the best vacations. We will be back no doubt! I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to use this home.

We rented this wonderful house in October and found it to be perfect! While the inside has an abundance of space including plenty of clean, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, fun game room and stunning views; the outdoor area blew us away. The weather was perfect so we spent most of our time in the back area. First of all, this space expands the width of the entire house. The firepit and cook area was wonderful. Our daughter and her friends joined us for an unforgettable dinner enjoyed at the most most perfect outdoor dining gathering space. If you have the need for bringing friends or family together, this home clicks every single box. One last thing, I left my coat at the house after we checked out. The property manager not only found it for me, but he also dropped it off to my daughter at App State so that I could easily get it back. That was definitely appreciated! We look forward to staying here again in the near future!

We had a great time at this listing. Perfect for the 6 of us with each having their own bedroom. The location and convenience to Boone and Banner Elk made the home a great find. The amenities were as advertised, but two of the TVs failed to operate correctly and the downstairs fireplace was in-operable. The house was well appointed with most anything you might need for your stay. The linens and pillows were very nice. The views were great, although not as high as we would have liked. Over-all, I would rate this property as a 4+

Loved all the many separate spaces and large family table indoors and outdoors. Although it was just 2 of us couples, we all agreed it would be great for a family reunion. Fantastic game room, comfortable beds, huge outdoor patio and dining space, 2 separate sitting spaces, etc etc. All rooms/spaces are large enough or far away enough from each other that there is much privacy and very quiet. Very well thought out large cabin amongst beautiful surroundings. Easy location for day trips.

The house itself quite large, and bedrooms are scattered about on different floors, perfect for our family. Plenty of bathroom space, also. The hot tub was a hit, and with the HUGE outdoor TV, we had great fun watching football while in the hot tub. The outdoor pizza oven was a hit! Several of our guests had to work remotely during our week, and the Wi-Fi did not disappoint. Morning coffee on the porch was very relaxing.

We rented this amazing home for a family birthday celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing property that has all the bells and whistles.

Everything was wonderful - maybe take a little more time cleaning sheets - two of the beds and small black hairs (like dog hair) no worries we just rewashed them - and another recommendation clear some space for the guests staying to put food/spices/condiments- every cabinet-drawer-crevice was full to the brim so we just put our stuff on the island or in our containers on the floor Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us

The most perfect and beautiful place of all

Exceedingly comfortable and spacious with all the amities of home. Was very peaceful and secluded with tremendous long range mountain views. Grounds were immaculate with beautiful landscaping. Beds were very comfortable providing a good night's sleep. Made us feel at home. Hated to leave, but will certainly be back sometime in the future. Celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary with entire family at the cabin. Made for a life-long wonderful memory for all 14 family members. Sincerely recommend this facility for any large family gathering. Easy access with two paved driveways Thanks much to the owners for providing a fantastic experience for us. A wonderful place to enjoy outdoor fun. House is very comfortable.

This house was wonderful for our three generation family vacation. We had lots of fun making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven! Everyone loved the huge dining table; it was great for playing games. The house was very clean and comfortable. The scenery was Amazing!! Communication with the host was great with quick responses to any questions that we had. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this house.

This is our second time bringing our kids and grandkids. The home is beautiful, especially, the master bath that has been recently renovated. The property is close to the grocery store and Hawksnest Tubing park, which was perfect for us! Cant wait to book again for 2023 Christmas trip!!

We rented this cabin for three nights for a ski trip to Sugar Mountain. We are very happy with the cabin overall in terms of supplies, cleanliness, communication, general upkeep etc. One thing I'd like to mention. Two days before we arrived there was a snow storm. This led to the driveway freezing over with ice. This caused my minivan to slide and slip into a ditch. Both driveways are steep and curvy. There are county services here for snow clearance so the property owner is on their own. If you're coming in during snow season, please double check for your own convenience and safety. Also, there doesn't seem to be trash clean up, either, so we were required to either drop off the trash at the the county facility or haul it away. I'm sure they have a cleaning service (and a cleaning fee is charged with the rental) so maybe it'll be nice if they could get the cleaners to also haul away the trash. Other than these two minor points, we are very happy overall and would be glad to return in future.

We stayed for my dad's 70th and it was probably one of the best family vacations we've had! Great location, cozy large house, wonderful amenities. Loved the pizza oven, hot tub, and especially the large kitchen breakfast table! Hope to do it again next year :)

Erin, the property manager was very responsive when needed. Dining table and island are spacious allowing us to all be together during meal prep. Shower in the master bedroom is gorgeous! Unfortunately, we had rain for two days of our trip and it was very cold with snow flurries on the last day, so we didn't get to enjoy the lovely outside spaces. Of course, with a sitting room off the kitchen, a large living room and game room there was plenty of room inside for games, television, being together or curling up with a good book.

We truly enjoyed this house and it worked very nicely for our needs. The cooking items (pots, pans, etc) need to be updated and added to. The outside areas were fabulous!!

Came here for my wife's 60th birthday. Everything was absolutely perfect! The house and grounds are beautiful with spectacular views!

We had a small intimate outdoor ceremony for my daughter and this gorgeous mountain home made it everything she dreamed her special day could be. The home is spacious and full of amenities to make it feel like a home away from home. The backyard is stunning! The grilling area, pizza oven, fire pit, and covered seating was the main reason we booked it. It is a great gathering space for family and friends. They have cornhole boards and giant Jenga to keep you entertained. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this home for your next gathering.

This house was in an enviable position and very spacious. The house was immaculately clean and the beds were very comfortable. When we needed anything Erin was very prompt with her communication. A great place to stay for a big group.

We had both friends and family stay for our four day stay, and we had a small event on the third night for the rest of our family who was visiting. The house felt like a cozy mountain home should, but with the extra comforts that set it over the top. Everyone from adults to teens enjoyed the game room and the easy access outside to shoot some hoops or play some Cornhole (all provided). Each room had a unique feel, and everyone loved the open kitchen and living room to start our mornings drinking coffee and taking in the wonderful view of the mountains nearby. We enjoyed large dinners both inside and outside, as both accommodated large groups like ours. If you are looking for a place for a small and authentic event that also has all the comforts of home, look no further.

This house was great for our large group. Very clean and communication with owner and rental company was excellent. We enjoyed making meals in the large kitchen and the pizza oven was a great addition.

Phenomenal accommodations for a week of delightful memory-making experiences at this home and in the surrounding area. The spacious rooms, seating--inside and out--as well as a well-stocked kitchen of dishes, silverware, etc., was a welcomed plus. Parking space was plentiful! Backyard amenities--seating, grilll, fire pit, hot tub,...the list goes on!!--were inviting and fun. The positive remarks could go on and on about this beautiful mountain home. I'm not sure what the highest rating is, but whatever it is, we would go at least 10 HIGHER!! We're already talking about a future reservation!
