We had a wonderful time- everything was so clean and cozy- the kitchen had everything you would ever need - fresh coffee beans and the grinder. The beds were so comfortable. The hosts had a reference book so you knew where everything was and the restaurant menus for all the area spots was perfect

What a lovely place! Four friends stayed for a weekend to knit and eat. This house was an easy walk to the downtown area, and the property was so clean. Heads up that both bathrooms are located in a bedroom. We loved our stay and highly recommend!

Fantastic spot. Everything in walking distance

The home was the perfect location for our 20 year college reunion. The home itself was beautiful and had all of the amenities that we needed to have a great weekend. We have already talked about coming back and renting the house again.

The house exceeded our expectations. Clean and comfortable. All the necessary amenities and then some. We enjoyed grilling dinner outside and sitting on the porch. Neighborhood is quiet. The house is walking distance from dining and shopping in downtown Decorah. We'll stay again the next time we're in the area. The only drawback is the bathroom locations. You have to walk through a bedroom to access a bathroom. Not a problem for us, but unusual arrangement.

This property is delightful! It was whistle clean everywhere including corners! It was comfortable, even nicer than the pictures. We enjoyed the craftsman style of the home. Kitchen was lovely even though we didn’t cook. We enjoyed the covered, large front porch too! Nice water pressure in the shower. Good tasting water too.

This lovely home is in a quiet neighborhood walking distance to downtown. It was incredibly clean and very well stocked with everything you might need. I not only appreciated the fantastic home, but Bill & Nicole were absolutely fabulous hosts. Thanks to their many recommendations, we had a wonderful time exploring Decorah. From the moment I booked this property, Bill and Nicole made everything so easy… including great directions to the property and an easy check-in and check-out. I highly recommend this rental. It’s also a perfect location if you are visiting Luther College. We are planning many more trips to Decorah and will definitely stay again! Great place to stay if you’re in the Decorah area. Easy walk to downtown for dinner, shopping, etc. We really enjoyed the house. It has a lot of charm and a nice kitchen which was well stocked.

Very comfortable house. Walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping. New appliances. New everything In wonderful older home. Sit on the porch or enjoy the formal dining room. I would definitely stay again

This house was everything we wanted and more. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was as soft as a 5-star hotel. We’re already planning on coming back for mom’s 91st birthday!

The house was welcoming the minute you walked in! Very well maintained. Clean, cozy, comfortable and well appointed. Location was within walking distance to Water Street, downtown Decorah. The property description was accurate so we were prepared for the fact that you had to walk through a bedroom to access the bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home as a great place to stay!

Wonderful craftsman an easy couple block walk from downtown.

From the minute we booked the house until check out everything was smooth sailing. Great messaging and very responsive. The home was so beautiful. Front porch with Adirondack chairs. Cozy living room with comfortable furniture. The dining room and kitchen were so cute. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and equipment. 3 very large bedrooms with king size beds. So comfortable. There was a small room in one of the upstairs bedrooms that could fit twin air mattresses. This host has thought of everything. Abundant supplies (towels, toilet paper, etc) There was a kurig and a coffee pot. Some bottles of water. I just can’t say enough good. Very close to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels in the back yard. We will be back.

The home was beautiful and very clean. They provided more than expected. So we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Couldn't have ask for anything more. Home was remodeled in excellent taste and high quality workmanship.

Was frustrated with the bathroom situation having to go thru the bedrooms and one bedroom having no access to the bathrooms during the night. Otherwise very clean, nicely decorated and good location.

We really enjoyed our time in this craftsman style- older home. It was so well taken care of and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. We had coffee on the front porch in the morning and supper/ cold ones in the eve on the the back patio. Our reading group loved our stay!

The only negatives for us were the limited room to park 3 cars, and as mentioned before, the strange bathroom locations. Everyone has to go through the main floor bedroom to get to the shower, and the half bath upstairs is through another bedroom. We all thought the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of pillows and towels are also available.

This home is comfortable and welcoming. It was perfect for our short girls getaway.

Loved our stay! It was great for Luther graduation - clean, well-maintained and comfy. We used the grill out back and the kitchen and were impressed with how well stocked it was too. The only thing it's important to note is location of the bathrooms. There is one bathroom with a shower on the main floor, inside the bedroom. The other bath (toilet/sink) is upstairs inside one of the two upper bedrooms. It all worked for us because we're family, but I imagine it may be challenging if the visitors didn't know each other as well because you have to enter each of the bedrooms to use the bathroom. Overall - a great experience, highly recommend, thanks much!
