This is such a beautiful home nestled up next to the park but still close to town. The hosts were so responsive. We sent out a plea at the last minute before graduation for help with a garment and they went above and beyond to help. More than we ever expected. I will forever remember sitting on the front porch in the evenings watching the birds flit around as we relaxed. It is a special home.

My friends spent a long weekend in this house and enjoyed every minute. The house is indeed charming, balancing the character of the original house with modern updated bathrooms and kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet, and the location is perfect: an easy walk to downtown, and just blocks from access to the Trout Run Trail. The owners were cordial and easy to work with and answered our questions immediately. The best feature for us was the covered front porch, where we were able to relax and play board games, even during a rain shower. Highly recommend this property!

Loved this house. It was very charming and beautifully restored. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Owners were great to work with. Location was very convenient to downtown and the college. Would stay again!

The house is freshly updated and the accommodations were perfect for our family with (5) adults. We loved the front porch for gaming, hanging and dining. It is close to the downtown and the area had plenty to do for our four days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time in Decorah. The location of the house was perfect and allowed ease of walking to many places we wanted to visit and worked well for a family of four, two adults, two kiddos and a set of grandparents! Highlights included lots of outdoor activists, a visit and tour of Vesterhiem, exploring the ice cave and waterfall, grabbing food at The Landings, enjoying a beer at a few of the breweries, playing in the river, walking to Whippy Dip, chasing fire flies in Phelps park and so much more. The owners of the house were easy to communicate with, check in was a breeze and the house met the description!

We've been coming to Decorah for 4 years to visit our Luther student. This weekend was graduation and we loved this house! The location, space, and amenities were perfect and the communication was superb. Very clean with excellent remodels to a charming house filled with character.

Our stay was lovely. It is a great house ina great location Walking distance to downtown. The house has everything you need, including a wonderful front porch and a nice backyard with a fire pit

The property is within walking distance of the historic down town and Phelps park. We walked easily for shopping, dining and to the Vesterheim museum The running tail was easy to access Trout Running Trail. The town is very clean and quaint

The timing of our trip coincided with a blast of arctic cold air. Though we didn't get to hike or fly fish as we planned, this house was comfortable, easy to come and go, and the owners are pleasant and accommodating . This is now our go-to location when visiting Decorah.

Our PTA had a weekend retreat in Decorah and we stayed at this beautiful house. It was perfect for a bunch of moms; clean, homey yet minimalistic, and cozy. We were able to easily get downtown by drive or walking. We are hoping to book again in the spring so we can utilize the amazing front porch. Thanks for an amazing visit!

We loved our stay at this property. The house is beautifully renovated with everything we needed. The beds were especially comfortable! The location of this property allowed us to walk to many of the places we visited. It’s so close to parks and the beautiful downtown area. The owners were so kind and readily available for questions. We will definitely return!

Two of my closest friends and I stayed at Jeremy's house for our 15 year Luther reunion. It was the absolute perfect location in Decorah for getting to all of our old favorite places in the city. The house itself is stunning and incredibly cozy. You can tell they put a lot of thought and time into the remodel. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for a stay. The bathrooms were brand new and super clean. All of the bedrooms were cozy with very comfortable beds. I've stayed in a ton of rental houses and this house is by far one of my favorites. I would 100% stay here again!
