Aardige gastvrouw. Schone, ruime en rustige ( basic) kamer. We konden al om 14 uur terecht. Snelle communicatie. Op loopafstand 20 min van het centrum.
De reviews zijn een beetje misleidend in mijn optiek, veel te positief! Het guesthouse is gelegen in een zg. achterstandswijk. Kamers achter het huis in een bijgebouwtje. De kamer stond als luxueus vermeld. (?). Ik heb dat niet zo ervaren, heel basic.. Gratis koffie en thee: er was slechts 1 theezakje, paar cupjes maar geen werkend expressoapparaat! Geen flesje water oid. Koelkast stond nog uit. Het was er koud. Wel schoon. 2 inmiddels zeer dunne verwassen handdoeken.
Er was op donderdagmiddag half 3 geen parkeerplaats in de straat. De rest van de wijk was voor ons sowieso geen optie. Verwaarloosde aftandse auto's. We mochten van de gastvrouw tot 19uur voor de deur staan daarna kwam haar man thuis en moesten we weg, maar dan zou er plek genoeg zijn. We hebben de auto in de parkeergarage gezet( €20) omdat we de wijk absoluut niet oké vonden voor onze volgepakte minibus. Toen we namelijk om 18.30hrs terugkwamen bekogelde een zeer agressieve man met flessen een kind.! Glas spatte i.h. rond. 2 jongens stonden naast het guesthouse duidelijk gestolen spullen te verdelen en provoceerden ons toen we langs liepen. Er was overigens op dat moment ook geen enkele plek vrij in de straat, maar wij zagen het inmiddels niet meer zitten en zijn naar parkeergarage gereden. Het zijn momentopnames, maar het geheel viel ons tegen helaas en is niet voor herhaling vatbaar helaas.

We had a really nice overnight stay en route from Southern France to the UK. Communication with host about our late arrival time was excellent. What's so nice about the Sherpa Guest House is the personal Himalayan touch that permeates it. It feels like staying with a family rather than staying in a hotel. We did not take the breakfast but got pastries and quiches from the truly excellent boulangerie nearby.
If you want to sightsee in Reims by walking from here be aware that it is a bit of a distance to the cathedral. It's perfectly fine if you are a regular walker tourist, but it may be too distant for some. We did it, even though it was a very hot day. Tip: the tunnel under the railtracks in the train station is a shortcut. The public walk-on fountains on the other side are great for cooling down, and make for a great playground for little kids.

The owners did everything in their power to make our stay amazing. In the morning we had breakfast on the terrace and everything was amazing.
We got there really late and we had trouble finding a parking spot, but we got there in the end. And could have been just the late hour. Other than that, all was perfect

A beautiful, spacious room with lpretty throws and cushions. A big en- suite bathroom . The host spoke good English and was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was more than sufficient with freak croissants, bread, pain au chocolat and fresh fruit. Highly recommended! Would stay here again.
No private parking but there were spaces in the street right near the property this time.

Unfortunately, the owner recommended the Brasserie Boulingrin in town, which was very disappointing (avoid!) and kind of ruined the last night of our holiday.

Just a few minutes from the shops and about twenty minutes walk from the city centre.
Terrific hosts.
A quiet neighbourhood. My motorbike sat outside the house, in the street, for two nights and remained untouched.
Very good security.
The room with a kitchen was perfect for our needs.
Having to depart at the end of my holiday and head for the ferry :(

The location is a bit far from the center but it was out passing by the location during our trip, thus not really a big deal

Only stayed one night, but location was convenient for arriving by car and parking easy to find outside. Easy 20 minute walk into the city centre. Hosts were lovely. Room was light and comfortable. Would happily stay again.

Owner is really nice, offered a free room upgrade on arrival, and made some suggestions of places to eat, drink and see. I also had some car trouble and they were helpful suggesting some local garages in walking distance. The room was quite spacious and had everything you need, clean and in working order.
Not much around, but it's also a short 15min walk to the centre of Reims where you can find restaurants and bars. Parking is on street, but didn't have trouble finding a spot late in the evening.

The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Hosts are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
On a hot night it would have been nice to have a fan.

The shared living space was beautiful. The apartment was very clean.
There was no ice. The refrigerator had a small ice section but no ice cube makers. Small ice cube makers are availabe at the store. There is no shelving places in the shower for shampoo, soap. We asked for ice but never got it. Construction was underway and we were told it would be done by 5:00. That was true our first night but not the second.

It was good to have a kitchen and a fabulous bathroom. The parking was free and available and there were stores close by to purchase food.
The pillows were too big and not comfortable. Also, the kitchen did not have the basics like sugar.

Very accommodating host. We were able to check in early. We were given a choice of rooms - view over the garden, or a larger room at the he front overlooking the street. Both lovely in different ways. We had been cycle touring and we were able to leave our bikes safely in the garden during our stay. A 15 min walk to the station and 20-25 min walk to town, or the tram was a 5 min walk away.

Spacious room with excellent bathroom (rainshower). Owner is very helpfull and speaks English (that's great as our French is zero). Nice French breakfast.
Parking the car was a bit of a hassle (on the other hand: free parking 😉).

Host was very friendly and accommodating. Large room and close to the centre of town (15 min walk). Parking was on street but the area seemed good and had no issues finding a space or leaving the motorbike overnight.

The Owner is a nice people.
we drive long time at the daytime， and will still drive long way the next day. the only hope i have is to sleep well at nigth.
The room in this Garten house is very nice. But have a terrible Sounds-proofing. the whole night，somebody habe Party in the House! Although in booking write it’s not allowed. The Party Is until 5 O‘clock!
Then I try again to sleep, but somebody upstairs come back. I can hear everything he/she do: open the door, go upstairs, take the shower, walk here and there, all the time! I don’t know who live upstairs, maybe another Traveler like us. but until now, 6:30 am, he’s still busy upstairs. The Sounds-proofing is really terrible!
