We were thrilled about every facet of this rental property. The home was as advertised, with every amenity that we needed. Also, the location is stellar, as being right on the water allowed us to enjoy marine animals, birds, and other facets of God's creation on a daily basis. We would absolutely stay here again.

Highly recommend this beautiful home. Near the beach and everything you need. The canal is perfect for fishing and there are plenty of fish to catch! Very clean and comfortable. We will keep this on our favorites to check for availability for our next visit back! A++ from us!

We really enjoyed a week in this spacious and beautiful home. Our teenage sons loved fishing off the dock. We saw a dolphin and a manatee swim right by us. The pool was refreshing and fun.
I only give 4 stars total because the master bath shower was not great. They were going to take a look and fix the pressure.

Property is ok but needs some things.
Kitchen is poorly equipped for cooking needs, we had to shop for everything like salt and pepper and a few spices…even some spray oil which could be supplied as it doesn’t go bad. Basic supplies were very sparse. We took our stuff home because it looks like everything from previous occupants gets thrown out after they leave. As evidenced in the trash cans we used. We like to cook in a bit, and there was bare bones in that area. Not even a measuring cup or a shaker for drinks. Pots and pans very cheap Walmart quality.
The house has an uncomfortable couch for sitting to watch tv or a movie. Only one other chair to sit in which was equally uncomfortable. Beds are very low to the floor and not the most comfortable.
One bathroom lacks any room in the shower for soaps or shampoos. It’s also dark in the shower…oh the shower itself was complicated to use as it has a bunch of different handles and settings.
The pool deck is ok and the pool is nice and warm, the pool lounges are ok, one was tearing and an umbrella was also torn.
All in all, the property is ok. But needs improvement. You can tell it’s just used as a rental. Not a comfortable house, and for the price we won’t go back.

We enjoyed our stay at St. Lucia so much and it was a perfect fit for our family of four! The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed taking walks and riding bikes. The beach is 2 miles away and an easy drive. The house had everything you need for your beach stay. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed fishing off the dock and watching the many birds in the trees across the canal. Would stay here again!

Great location. Very comfortable, modern house, well equipped. Beautiful swimming pool that we used every day. Tons of birds of all kind. coming very close. In the tree across the canal, there were 5 nests of Great Blue Herons. Quiet surrounding. We spent 2 weeks in this house and this was most enjoyable. Minor thing, the pool net that we used daily would need to be changed.

This was an incredibly clean,peaceful place to stay. Really enjoyed the Herons,pelicans and osprey every morning, eating breakfast by the pool, enjoying the canal views was awesome.

My husband, son, and I greatly enjoyed our stay at St. Lucia. The home is very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The beds were fabulous.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this beautiful house again.

Cute little house, very quiet. The trees across the canal were filled with herons nesting……fascinating. One loved sharing the pool with us. We named him Ralphie. We did a lot more driving than planned, all worked and we loved our stay.

We rent this place with 2 of my girlfriends. We left our husbands at home with kids and went to Florida to just relax, catch on vitamin D, check local restaurants and do some shopping… We did just that and this place was perfect for us. Location was great! Right between Anna Maria island and Bradenton town, and only 30-40 mins away from Sarasota. We woke up every morning to a beautiful view of a swimming pool that was overlooking canal and bay. Once I even went for a run and this subdivision and Main Street that connects island with continent is for sure runners, family with kids, bikers, etc., friendly… it has a nice side walk from Bradenton all the way to Anna Maria island. House is in a very nice, clean and quiet neighborhood. Very cozy and clean itself. One thing that we all notice is that it would be nice if all light switches would actually turn on the lights but instead you have to turn on every single light (including ceiling light) with little switches right by the bulb. That for sure didn’t change our experience though.. We had an amazing time and for sure would go back there any time.

Great space for living and relaxing. Pool and dock have awesome views of the water, especially at sunrise. Tons of birds to watch! The interior is modern and spacious, with nice furnishings and ample kitchen space. The open floor plan keeps everyone connected, but with sufficient privacy in the bedrooms. Neighborhood is quiet and located away from the Bradenton bustle. Traffic heading on to the beach might be an issue in the summer but was not in the least while we were visiting in January. Highly recommended.

The house is really cute, seems a lot of the remodeling is new, like the appliances. It is nicely stocked as well, w/ beach towels, pool floats & such. Just a couple of things that made the trip not great. Terrible water pressure, showering was almost dreaded, water temp set too low as well. The second unpleasantness, many, many big loud birds flying around the pool, standing in the pool, on the dock, fence, pool deck & lounge chairs with lots of bird poop. The canal seems to draw so many birds. The house desperately needs a pool lanai to make the pool area comfortable.

Property is located in a great location. Very close to everything. Property was extremely clean upon arrival. We enjoyed watching all the birds and weather was warm enough to take advantage of the pool. We caught we a number of fish from the dock including Mangrove Snapper, Lady Fish, two Stringrays, and a bunch of Cat Fish. We will definitely return.

Florida Canal Home
We enjoyed our stay as this was our second year at this property. I would say that it would be nice if there were more daily use items in the house such as paper, pencil/pen, local directories for eating/activities, more seating in the living room for families to share space, water pressure needs to be improved for master shower. It's a beautiful space but the lack of trees or some shade in the back would be appreciated. We had to ask for the umbrellas in the back to be replaced as they were all broken. Sitting on the dock would be nice if the solar lites were replaced/working as well as more seating in this area.

Lovely location for boaters
We rented last minute when other plans changed. I was looking for a house where I could put in my 23 ft boat for the week. Boat ramp is about 1/4 mile from the house so it couldn’t have been more handy. Compared to a lot of other houses the pool is surprisingly large. Sat on the deck and watched the heron rookery across the canal, along with manatees, ducks, egrets, and we also caught a few mangrove snapper from the dock.
Took the boat out daily to Anna Maria, Jewfish key, Sarasota and Longboat. Also great snook fishing and dolphin watching in Palma Sola Bay, where the house is located.
We had a problem with the AC the first night, but the property manager was prompt in repairing it.
Only thing broken were the umbrellas on the pool deck. We had 4 people, which would be the maximum number I would think.

Great location. Private and clean
Overall my family enjoyed our stay. One complaint though, their checkout procedure is a bit excessive. It is written in their binder that their guests MUST wash all their towels, run the dishwasher and take off the bed sheets. What is the cleaning service fee for?? My suggestion, change your wording to optional.

Very happy with our choice
We spent a week here in April. It was perfect for our family of four. Seven blue heron nests directly across from the pool on the canal. Very cool to watch. The one downside is that the herons and the ducks like to use the pool as a birdbath. Didn't bother us, but I now see the need for a lanai. We were lucky to see a dolphin in the canal briefly as well! Beds were super comfortable. House has everything you will need for your stay.

St. Lucia Relaxation
This place was very nice and clean. We picked up or groceries on the way in and could have never left this house the entire time! The weather was perfect for early morning coffee by the pool, later getting in the pool, and then winding down still outside.
We had dolphins and stingrays in the canal, and plenty of wildlife that could fly to watch. The neighbors we saw were very friendly.
Very nice running/walking/biking path that would take us to Anna Maria island (3 miles).

Beautiful home in a great location
Both the house and the pool were very clean and well maintained. The house sits right on an inlet with views of the water and the dock is a great place for morning coffee! The location is also very convenient, located right in between Bradenton and Anna Maria island, and just a short drive to many other islands. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean modern property
Property was clean, nicely updated and centrally located. Great view of Palma Sola Bay. Heated pool was a great feature. Doors that lead to the pool have child alarms which is terrific feature for families with children. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

Well Appointed Home Away From Home
My wife and I had a couple of week workation at San Lucia and thoroughly enjoyed the property and the surrounding location. Access to both the beaches and the Robinson Preserve made this a great fit for us. The property was recently renovated and was well laid out and really well thought through. The provisions in the kitchen, complete linens, new washer and dryer made this a very easy place to feel at home. We would definitely recommend this property. Sean

Lovely vacay at St. Lucia
Our family enjoyed our week at St. Lucia! My husband and 2 teenagers spent a majority of our vacay time swimming in the pool and relaxing on the back patio and the dock on the canal. The house has been freshly renovated. The furnishings are mid-grade with a modern vibe. It is located in a quite established 1970s neighborhood. We liked that it was a short drive to Amelia Island (the road traffic noise did not bother us). We rented a car and explored the surrounding areas daily so St. Lucia was a good home base.

Perfect. Didn’t want to leave!
The house was immaculate! Probably the best property I’ve ever rented. The house was spotless, the beds were comfortable. Linens were included and ample. There was a “starter bag” provided which actually got us through most of the week (trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and paper towels). The pool and surrounding outdoor area was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet with a quick drive to the beaches and grocery stores. The beaches were beautiful, but some were pretty crowded this time of year, parking was tough at the beach right off the bridge, I recommend taking a left toward Cortez.

Short Coastal Vacations
We spent just 5 days here, a quick getaway for our two adults and two children from the West Coast. This place was IMMACULATE! The entire place appears freshly remodeled and in top condition, clean everywhere.
We didn't see any dolphins from the deck, but we did see a few manatees, as advertised! The pool was just perfect for mornings and evenings after long days at the beach. A/C worked great, pool temp was perfect!
The location is really quiet, even though the Manatee Road is visible to the east of the house in the distance. I enjoyed that quiet more than I thought I would. After a busy day, to pull into the neighborhood and be engulfed by quiet was so nice.
There are so many different birds flying around, and a local reddish egret (I think) liked to come and drink from the pool. Being near water, there was some mosquito and no-see-ums bites, but minimal.
Great little house, just right for the 4 of us, highly recommend!

The Little House that could!
Small But packs a punch! Beautifully appointed , great layout , lovely Pool. Loved the wildlife! Everything a couple needs that doesn’t want to stay in a hotel. Amazingly clean and all the creature comforts! I will stay again , no doubt!

sweet spot on the canal
We totally enjoy our stay. The wildlife was amazing. The most beautiful bird hung out at the pool with us everyday. So nice to just pull the boat up after an awesome day one the water. Really nicely done classic Florida home.

Amazing - will be back!!
My husband and I absolutely fell in love with this place! It was very clean and beautifully updated. My almost 3 year old son had an absolute blast in the pool, and so did we! The dock was one of our favorite spots, we even saw 2 dolphins. We also did some fishing and just relaxed. We will return next year, it is our new found annual vacation spot!

Nice house
Clean and cute house. Just FYI...the pool is on the north side of the house so it doesn't get much sun. Also, the heat of the pool doesn't seem to get as high as they claim. We paid for extra heat because of winter and it never got up past 86 (we had a pool thermometer). This was disappointing to our kids. I wouldn't pay extra for heat if going in the winter.
