We had a great time. Very quiet the host Jerry was great. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy the lake.

My fishing buddies and I came in and jerry & his wife were really nice and told us about the area and we're just super polite and good folks. Highly recommend! Place was spacious & clean- fit all 9 of us!

The cabin was perfect! Just what we were looking for. Our family love the location, how peaceful it was. Jerry and Deb really go all out to make sure there guest are comfortable during your stay in there property. They provide a lot of little extra things so you feel more at home. We will be looking forward to booking with them again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. Jerri and Debbie were very accommodating. Very satisfied!

Secluded location, plenty of room for the family. Jerry and Debi seemed nice through our online communication and called us on the morning of our arrival to give details related to staying at the property. They thought of something for everyone. There were just enough things to keep the kids occupied.

We had a blast staying here for a bass tournament. The hosts were fantastic. Just like being at home.

The kids had wonderful time everyone enjoyed visiting on the deck in the evening and enjoyed the quiet!

We really enjoyed our time at Cabin in the Woods. We were looking for a quiet place to ride out fireworks, which traumatize our rescue pup so badly. This space was exactly what I was hoping for. No pupper trauma, just peace and quiet. Knowing our hosts have big hearts for animals was a definite win for us. They helped make our pup feel welcomed, with special bowls and a mat, waiting when we arrived. The back deck is amazing, and the fans and lights are such wonderful additions. We drank our morning coffee out there one thunderstorm morning, and it was so nice. We enjoyed the quality grillware provided. The kitchen had so many more amenities than many we’ve stayed at. It was a nice touch to see storage bags and ware for leftovers, and travel home, as well as all the spices and condiments provided. That saved us a lot of packing space. The beds were very comfortable as well. Our hosts, Jerry and Debi, were always a phone call or message away if we had any questions, and they were quick to respond. Thank you again, for providing us our perfect 4th of July landing.

This place is even better than it’s pictures. Well stocked too. They had everything you could think to need in this place. The only critique I have is there may be a leak in the back bathroom creating a bit of a mold smell in the bathroom and the bunk room next to it.

We travel often and this property is older but very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked which is a rarity. The only negative I have is that it is very far off the grid and the area is a little run down, but the home was very nice and the host was very helpful.

We were looking for a place halfway between my in-laws and where we live in KC. My adult children hadn't seen their grandparents during the pandemic and this cabin was a great place for us to get together. The backyard and back deck were great for enjoying the nice spring weather! The cabin had enough space and everything we needed!

Comfortable enjoyed our time it's the quiet season.

Stayed there for work. Everything was great. Close enough to town that we could run get food or groceries. Owners are very nice. We were 4 men who work outside, we tried our best to keep it clean. It was good to come in and be able to have a place to sit, cook and eat.

This place was great! There was plenty of room for our family to enjoy the weekend at the lake. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials we needed. The fire pit was wonderful. We can't wait to come back and use the bbq grill.

Our stay was wonderful! Jerry was a wealth of information for boating and the lake! Pretty easy to find and close to a dock where we were able to launch the boat. Jerry and Debi provide small things that go a long way… like the cloth bags for beach towels, bars of soap, games, and bug spray! The backyard was beautiful! We definitely will be back!
