This home was amazing! Although the water level was down, we were not able to enjoy swimming off the dock; however, kids still took our kayaks and Lilly pads next door. The house had more than enough room to accommodate us, and the host was extremely accommodating and responsive to our needs. Would 100 percent come back! The guest house was also the perfect addition for other adults to be secluded. We had a great time!!!

This place has everything you need to have a great time with your family! From games, outdoor activities, kitchen supplies, water toys, etc….its all taken care of. The water levels are very low but we knew that before booking and still had fun!

We took a long weekend to get away and relax. The house was comfortable and clean. Check in was easy. Only downfall that should be noted is the lake levels currently so far down that there is no water at the included dock. There is however a dock at the neighborhood boat ramp that can be used. Not as convenient but worked all the same.

There was some kind of chemical used to clean the burners that filled the house when used and it actually cause one of the ladies to throw up on Friday night. Obviously this isn’t the owners fault. I’d advise switching the cleaning products. Other than that minor thing everything was great.

This lakehouse is in a nice neighborhood located on the canal. Communication and check-in were excellent. There are many games available to play on the property. The towels and linens were all clean. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this particular property if cleanliness is important to you. It has a lot of potential but needs some attention. This lakehouse was built in 1975 and needs a lot of work. The kitchen and bathrooms have the original cabinetry. They have really old and dirty cabinet liners. The cabinets need to have everything taken out and sorted through and fresh paint. It has old food, spices, and dishes. Below the oven looked like it had never been cleaned. The bathrooms are also very outdated and dingy. There is only hot water for about 7 minutes. Multiple people can not shower back to back. The entire house has a real distinct mold odor as well. We didn't use the WIFI much but if you need it, it's very unreliable. It's a cricket hotspot. The main house has two bedrooms that sleep comfortably 5. You could sleep 2 in the small guest house as well. It is also VERY musty and old. We did not even use it. The living room has a very small couch and TV for 3-4 guests. In the main house, the top bunk bed has a fall risk because they do not have the proper mattress so I would not use it for a small child. A low profile 6-7 in mattress needs to be utilized to allow for safety rail effectiveness. Overall, it just needs some TLC. Lightbulbs out, no closet to hang clothes. There are over 20 homes that this property management group manages. There are many homes in this area that I would choose over this one. Hopefully, some updates will happen because it has potential.

My brothers and sister in from Houma LA - my dad lives in Maybank and we all met here to spend some time with him. The place was perfect for all of us. We got to witness some pretty awesome nature, deer, birds, turtles, ducks. The firepit was a big hit - we all sat around it one night catching up on life.

We have stayed at this property before and are so glad a chose to do so again! It’s been nearly a year since our last stay but I’m happy to see the place is still well cared for and they added a lily pad which my kids TOTALLY loved and we used daily! The beds are comfortable and the towels are extremely fluffy! The WiFi and cable was a good way for my kids to wind down in the evenings and there were toys for them to play with. My middle kiddo particularly loves the kayaks ( this house is actually the reason she got in one for the first time last year and got her own kayak for her birthday this year!) We have a dog this year and he loved the big yard and chewed on the walnuts lol! My kiddos caught tons of perch every evening and during the day went out with Dad on the bass boat on the lake and caught bass! We also went to town one day and checked out a few little shops and an awesome little local bookshop where my kiddos and I stocked up! There was fun for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked, we needed nothing! The owners were EXTREMELY easy to get ahold of when I had an issue ( an easy fix with a gfc plus plug ) and responded super quickly when I asked last minute for availability to spend a couple of extra days ( which thankfully there was ). I appreciate everything that has went into this house and the fun we’ve had there! Also the guest house is great, we just didn’t need it for this trip, but is a nice add on, especially for the price!

Really enjoyed the stay! Only quirks were some dead batteries in remotes and no lights (that we could find) for the dock area. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable! Great areas for gathering and enjoying each other's company.

Everything was great. The house, the view, and amenities met all our expectations!

We had a great time and enjoyed the peace and quiet. House was basic and nice but we spent most of our time out on the wrap around porch or above the dock. Enjoyed our morning coffee with the sounds of a giant redhead woodpecker and other birds. Was very nice not to have mosquitos or flies which were so bad back home this summer. Rented a boat down the way and spent a full day on the lake. Dogs loved the fenced yard and boat ride and the property was perfect for our long family weekend away. Communication with the host was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. Will be back.

We were welcomed with a small goody basket when we walked in that made our day. The home was beautiful but a little dated. Outside was the place to be as they offered many outdoor amenities for everyone. The view was beautiful and we felt nestled in the little cove.

We were welcomed with a small goody basket when we walked in that made our day. The home was beautiful but a little dated. Outside was the place to be as they offered many outdoor amenities for everyone. The view was beautiful and we felt nestled in the little cove.

Enjoyed the home and the lake. Caught a turtle or two haha. House was amazing!

Pros: The property manager kept great communication and the check-in process was easy. The interior of the house is beautiful and the views were great as well! We slept comfortably and were able to relax away from our busy lives. Sporting turtles and deer was a nice addition as well. Cons: The first two to arrive noticed a long line of dirt on the floor, almost like someone swept but got distracted and left it on the floor, and we were unable to use the grill due to how dirty it was. We ended up going into town to purchase portable grills so that we could bbq. Luckily we also brought our own seasonings because what was available clearly had been on location far beyond its expiration date. The appliances were mediocre but did the job, and we found a bbq brush with mold. Also, the can opener does not work but two of us are military veterans so we were able to use it to get our cans open “field” style. We didn’t get in the water, first because we aren’t used to the lake waters but second, we were informed by the lawn service personnel that there were several poisonous water moccasins just below the deck so we opted safety over leisure in that aspect. I also came real close to one before finding out there were quite a few. We didn’t use the guest house because of a strong unknown smell, but I was informed that a leak had been discovered and the issue was being taken care of. We weren’t able to use the games provided due to missing pieces, but we did bring our own so that wasn’t a huge setback and lastly, don’t expect to use your cell phones. We all lost service coming into town and the hot spot internet was off more than on. The exterior of the home could use some work, but as I stated, overall, our party of 4 adults and two teenage boys enjoyed our country stay.

The overall home is cute and fun for a family. It does need to be deep cleaned including areas below sinks. The disposer is non working and does spit out residue. Our daughter arrived prior to everyone and wiped down all patio furniture, lighted candles to improve overall aroma and wiped down counter tops. The extra small house in the back could be so cute! A double or full bed with a little extras would make it perfect. The couch bed in this area really cannot be slept on. It could be so nice out there with just a few extra touches. I did not realize how close we were to the street drain which may be good for fishing but not necessarily swimming. We did have a good time with our family. These are ideas to make clients return over and over again.
