We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from GSW. The place was lovely and had all the amenities. The view of the lake and the grounds is beautiful. Check-in was a breeze and everyone commented on how much they loved the place. Plus we were able to use the slip for our boat which was fabulous. 10 of 10.

Great place to stay. We flew in and rented a car. We didn't cook a thing which is unusual for us, but we had a great stay. Pecan groves on the drive in and out are way interesting. One daughter took a swim or two. Not a lot of time to explore, but it was a great place to hang a hat and rest. Will consider again if in the area for sure.

Could not have asked for a more wonderful weekend. Of course weather wasn’t all that great… for softball but, in between the layovers we played pool, cards, fished, watched movies, laughed and made wonderful memories. The owner was absolutely wonderful and so great! All he asked is that we have fun! How awesome was that! We definitely will be back! Not a complaint for one of my family members especially the boys… they loved fishing and kayaking!

Our work team utilized this property as a home base as we visited our locations throughout South Georgia. We will definitely consider this property again!

The owners were very easy to work with, and close by if we needed anything. Will definitely rent from them again.

Family loved pool table and lake

We had an amazing time! The kids did not want to leave. We enjoyed the convenience of the State Park and Bouys on Blackshear. The views from the sunroom are so beautiful! We loved seeing all the geese on the water.

We enjoyed our visit to the lake. The property manager was responsive when I reached out to him. The home had a stuffy smell when we arrived. Great view of the lake, enjoyed the deck and dock area. There were a couple of dead roaches inside. Overall good stay

We were so happy to find a place to stay in that location. The home is clean and warm. We had a great stay!

I have been renting properties on Blackshear for years. This one is my favorite. The black stone griddle was a big hit and lots of fun. The kids enjoyed the slide. I enjoyed the quietness of the cove.

Some initial communication confusion, but easily resolved. Convenient, lovely and comfortable neighborhood, easy check in, great stay.

Excellent place for our friends and family to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there and definitely would stay again. Hosts were excellent and more than willing to do what they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Our family had a great weekend. The house was as listed. Plenty of room for everyone. Weather was prefect and we was able to catch enough fish for a fish fry ❤️

Great place to stay with your family, plenty of space and great layout with a fantastic view.

We had a great time and there was plenty of room for all. The bunkbeds were a hit with the kids and it was a beautiful view to wake up to! Central location was also a plus!

We were down visiting family so we didn't get to spend much time at the house. The house was easy to find and everything was very clean. The house has plenty of room, and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom we have ever slept on. They provided everything we needed, and unquestionable instructions on every aspect. We never had a need to contact the owners, but we also were only there to sleep. The absolute ONLY issue we had was the neighbor's dogs. The house to the right of the property had 3 large dogs who barked non stop at us when we arrived (really, not a big deal, there was a fence between). The issue was Saturday morning, the only morning we had to sleep past 6 am. Before 7 am the dogs were all outside and barked constantly. No rest that morning for our long trip home. There was 1 dog at the property on the opposite side, but we never heard a peep out of it when it was outside. Otherwise, the property is beautiful. The livingroom with the big windows facing the lake would have been a wonderful retreat for a few days had we had the opportunity to stay longer. The lake and all the amenities the owners provided would make for a fun family or friends vacation!

We definitely enjoyed our stay here! Everything was as advertised, and they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of! We'll definitely be back!

We rented the cabin to see some family in the area and enjoy the lake. We brought our boat and were able to tie up to the dock and access the main lake with no problems. The house is setup very nicely for a family gathering, and the children especially enjoyed the slide at the dock! Access to the property was easy, and we especially enjoyed the sun room overlooking the lake. Nice place to stay and the fact that it's not on the main lake is nice because you aren't bombarded with all the boat traffic at the dock.

We enjoyed our family weekend at this property. Everything was nice and clean and the kids enjoyed swimming and tubing .

Nice older home for large group. Disappointed owner charged an excess cleaning fee for items placed in the outdoor trash can.

This was by far our most favorite place that we have stayed at on Lake Blackshere. Peaceful, exceptionally clean, and plenty of room for all of us to hang out . Fishing from the dock was awesome, and Mr. Daniel answered any questions we had without hesitation. Boat dock is well kept and had mini fridge and chairs to make it a favorite place to sit and relax, or to laugh as the kids went down the slide over and over landing with big splashes in the water!! Mr. Daniel thank you for allowing us to rent your place and make wonderful memories with our kids and grandkids... will definitely be back... and did I mention that the red breasted brim we caught from the dock was huge!!!
