A very comfy bed (for Kefalonian standards), a nice room upstairs with everything you could need for a short break. The small, but well stocked kitchen opens on to a balcony which is waterfront. There is an outdoor area/lounge to relax in too if so desired. A beautiful basket of foods/drinks were supplied on arrival. Basically everything you would shop for yourself to ensure breakfast was great. Croissants, bread, jam, honey, milk, juice, some fruits, coffee, tea, cakes etc. I suppose if you were to really be picky there were no eggs/bacon (not that everyone wants this). There was more than enough to kick off our stay and beautifully thoughtful 10/10.

This is a cosy place with low door heights and the a couple of bumped heads, but overall everything was exceptional.

We loved the views from the cottage and from the balconies. They were just amazing and it was so interesting watching boats big and small coming and going from fiskardo harbour, looking towards ithaca and lefkas. It was great to have our own private steps down to the sea and enjoyed swimming in the safe area in front of the cottage. We enjoyed sleeping in a large comfortable bed listening to the sea lapping on the rocks beneath. Efi was an amazing host and her attention to detail in the cottage was amazing. It had everything that we needed and she also provided a really generous welcome hamper as well as a very welcome bottle of Robola wine. Efi also kindly allowed us to stay as soon as the cottage was ready and not leave until she needed to clean it for the next guests. We will definitely be back to this idyllic cottage in a stunning location.

The property has a perfect location with steps down to the sea from the terrace, it is absolutely heavenly. Efi the owner is delightful, catering for all our needs. The welcome package of provisions was so thoughtful.

property was amazing, beautiful place with a beautiful view right on the sea, efi was amazing and made us feel so at home and even left us a vegan welcome basket filled with so many delicious things, such a lovely place to stay. the cats were wonderful (I’m an animal lover) so was great seeing them (please be kind to them) would definitely stay again xxx

Wonderful welcome by Efi herself, who left me baskets full of goodies, food and wine for days to come. The hostess was very charming, caring, attentive. The location was stellar, I really loved the views, and from the cottage it’s a nice short walk into town. The sound of the waves against the rocks is all you hear…… WIFI was excellent.

The many cats roaming around the patios, especially when I was eating outside. And them sleeping overnight on the pillows and towels on the patio furniture which I did not feel like using anymore afterwards. Efi mentioned that they belonged to a nearby hotel that had just closed for the season, but that this was definitely not taking place during the summer months.

Location was amazing, breakfast was also amazing 100% would reccomend to anyone

The welcome pack from Efi was exceptional, we didn't need to buy anything initially. There were also very generous gifts to take home. The location is wonderful, even better than expected. Total privacy and three different options of where to sit outside. Close enough to Fiscardo for shopping, restaurants etc.but far enough away (approx.10 mins walk) for peace and quiet at night. Just wish our stay had been longer.

Steps down from bedroom to bathroom are horrible, especially at night, despite leaving a light on. Would not suit anyone with mobility or visual problems. Hooks for towels in the very small bathroom would have been nice.

Efi’s Cottage is situated in a beautiful part of Fiscardo. On arrival, Efi had left us the most generous welcome pack which was amazing. She made everything welcoming from beautiful flowers in vases dotted around the cottage to bottles of wine to settle us in….. we felt like a house guest not a paying guest! Views are stunning and swimming from the cottage idyllic. Bedroom has an incredibly big comfortable bed! If you are lucky enough to book Efi’s cottage, please don’t tell your friends as we think this is a ‘ hidden gem’ in Fiscardo and want to keep it our secret.

Fantastic location - your own piece of Fiskardo with your own sea entrance and sunbeds on the rocks. Lovely apartment with such special views - the perfect breakfast spot to watch the boats come in and out. The most thoughtful host - Efi is a hero!

The location and the outside space were amazing

Efi's cottage is a hidden jewel in Fiskardo. This lovely beach house is perfectly located, being walking distance from Fiskardo restaurants and from Foki bay. The private sea access is an incredible feature, allowing to enjoy sea baths with great views on Ithaca and the Fiskardo harbour entrance. Efi is a lovely host, always willing to help when she can (she even let us enjoy the cottage an extra hour until our boat departure to Lefkas!). One regret : our stay was too short! We will be back for sure

Efi is incredibly thoughtful and helpful. Her cottage was immaculate and so peaceful! We wondered if "steps down to the sea" meant it was up on a cliff, but it's only about 12 steps, very easy to get in and out. Superb location - 10 minute walk into town, 5 minute walk round to Foki beach (gorgeous bay, olive trees provide shade on the beach, good cheap taverna)

The cottage is fantastic! It has all you need for a couple or pair of friends. The private entrance to the sea is just fantastic! The bed is very big and comfortable! Can't recommend Efi's enough! This was our second trip to Efi's Cottage and that says it all!

We had a perfect stay at Efi’s cottage. The property was clean throughout and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was wonderful, looking out to sea and watching the boats go by from the table on the balcony or the sofa area. The surprise highlight for us was the direct access to the sea where we spent a good amount of time snorkelling. It has a new shower and a large, very comfortable bed. Efi herself was a delight and provided us with some delicious treats and essentials for the fridge - it was a pleasure meeting her. The location is great: the main harbour area of Fiskardo with restaurants is less than a 10min walk away. We just wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly return and recommend to friends!

Efi’s cottage is a unique find. The private step access down to the sea is just amazing. The location is perfect - 10 min walk to Foki beach and the port town with loads of restaurants. Efi herself was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. Sadly our stay was cut short by the hurricane but Efi looked out for us throughout this. I highly recommend and would love to go back to stay for longer.

Efi was such a wonderful host, kind and generous, and her property was perfect for me and my mother to stay. Comfortable beds and a beautiful veranda to eat meals overlooking the sea. The property is in a quiet peaceful location, with steps straight into the sea! And a short walk from Fiskado if you want lively restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back.
