Great home and location

Great two bedroom property close to Sumter landing, a well appointed kitchen if you choose to do your own cooking. Cozy beds with luxury sheets, enough room to invite guest for supper at the lovely table. We found the directions for using the property easy to follow and reasonable, nothing I wouldn’t ask of my own Family or guests. Locking the doors and adjusting the Temperature and turning off the lights isn’t too difficult to request as you’re leaving for the airport. The price could not be beat, response time from the owner was incredible for questions and they were very gracious with their time. Some people commented that there were not amenities such as shampoo or that simple request to change the linens to the provided clean sets was offputting. I didn’t have a problem with it, nor did I have a problem with popping the used to be laundered. I appreciate it, but it was a lovely house and the Request reasonable to help keep the cost affordable.

Enjoyed our stay in The Villages at this home. Everything was really nice with the exception of the basic necessities we have come accustomed to in other VRBO's that we have stayed at. There was no coffee, no paper toweling, very little toilet paper, no shower soap, body wash or shampoo. All of our other stays in VRBO's have covered these items. When on vacation, the first thing you don't want to do when arriving at your stay is to have to run out to the store to buy all of these items just to feel at home. We chose this place mainly for the privacy fence in the backyard for our dogs to be able to roam without a leash. The yard was small but it was enough for vacation. The use of the golf cart was appreciated. Our only other issue was the check out process. The rules were clearly stated that we needed to wash the sheets and towels, etc before we left. We never had to do this at any other VRBO stay in the past. Again, we understood the rules, but it would have been nice to have appliances there were updated. We spent nearly 4 hours washing 3 loads of clothes before checking out which put a negative on a very nice stay. We communicated with the owners about their washer not rinsing properly and how long the drier took to dry the sheets but never heard back from them. We responded to their text messages multiple times during our stay but they did not respond back to our concern. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Issues we had were rectified by the host.

We had a wonderful time staying at this Villa. The Villa is only about a mile from Sumpter Landing which is full of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. It would be hard to find a better location. We stayed for the months of January & February. Weather was in the 60's and low 70's and almost no rain. It’s a 2 bedroom 2 bath Villa. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking utensils and supplies you will need. The stove was gas which we liked. There is also an outdoor functioning gas grille. The enclosed lanai was great. The sun comes up in the morning and warms it up and is gone by the afternoon. That’s important, the afternoon and evening sun can be brutal. There were plenty of TV’s and the internet is fast enough. We saw no bugs of any sort inside. There were 2 sets of miscellaneous golf clubs that you can use if you forgot yours. The pool and Rec centers were near by and the villagers we met were all friendly. The owners have put together a very informative book of information and instructions of the villa and the area. The Villa also came with a golf cart. It ran great and is a necessity in the Villages. If you don't have one you will feel out of place. If you had to rent one you’re looking at more than $500/month. We talked to the owners a few times and Tom and Christine are very pleasant and responsive to any problem that could happen. This is a rental that we would stay at again.

This villa was very clean and very nice to stay in. Tom was very responsive to my questions and very helpful. The check-in and check out procedures were very well spelled out. Communication was very good!
