Just as perfect as the first time

The area was great. Quiet. The condo was the perfect size for us. It had everything we needed for a long weekend stay.

The property was sufficient. The water out of the faucet did not have a good taste, bottled water is required for ice trays, drinking water and coffee. I shower at night the hottest I could get the water was anout 80-85 °. Very cool to cold shower. The water was warmer during the day which i assume is a control feature to conserve cost. The living room sofa had one end that was broken off. The overall all air quality was musty. The location was what i needed and the price was reasonable or just slightly overpriced for the quality of the overall experience. Thank you

The place itself was pretty nice. Location was wonderful, we really enjoyed staying in Walden. The condo itself, while nice had a couple of disappointing things. Primarily, the shower was almost unusable. It seems as though it only has hot water connected, no matter the temperature you set the knob, the water comes out only scolding hot. I wouldn’t have minded as much, except that I’m pregnant and it’s absolutely unsafe for pregnancy to be in such hot temperares. We were unable to shower the 2 days we stayed. Secondly, there were a good handful of leftover items from past tenants, including a T-shirt in the dresser and toiletries in the bathroom. Not the biggest deal, just would have been nice to not have around. Overall, our stay was still fine and the place was enjoyable. These few things could be improved upon, however.

We checked in with no issues. The condo complex was built in 1970's and shows it age. THE REALLY GOOD: The views were beautiful! The neighborhood was very walkable and dog friendly. Loved the people we met. It sits at the water's edge and very quiet. THE NOT SO GOOD: The parking lot/flower gardens need improvements. INSIDE CONDO: Things were picked up and neat until you opened cabinets/drawers/pantry/oven. DIRTY! Kitchen floor sticky. Housekeeper came, opened kitchen drawer, took a knife to unlock closet door and handed me a mop. She put the knife back in drawer! We were booked for 22 days with no room in pantry for our items. Kitchen faucet came off in our hand. The living room window drape fell off the wall on its own. It was apparent there were issues with it before as there were many holes in the ceiling. Housekeeper with her son were sent to rehang. The most annoying issue was the lack of hot water. We could get almost warm water and were told to run for 5-10 minutes. Not warm enough to get into the shower. I contacted Kris and he contacted HOA. Found out there is one boiler servicing the units. Every day, same issue. I told him this was unacceptable. We were committed to 22 days in this unit. He moved us to another unit. No paperwork was created for the 2nd unit. Our contract was cancelled so he could rent unit again. No compensation. We paid a cleaning deposit, as every renter does the same, yet it was dirty. I cannot review 2nd unit here.

Great location!! Close to Marina, restaurants, fishing, kayaking etc. Good communication.

very clean. needed more towels, shower curtain liner needs replacing, wi-fi didn’t work, couch very hard need soap for shower but it’s a nice location and nice view

I want to thank Kris the owner he was great and quick when I needed to contact him about a ?. The property was great and we enjoyed. I only wish it didn’t decide to get cold as we would of loved to enjoy the lake or pool but that’s Mother Nature for us all.

Enjoyed our stay. If you bring more than 1 child just know they have 1 cot and a leather couch. Games for the family to play.

The owner is so understanding. The neighbors were so sweet even thier animals. It was quite just like I was looking for thank you so much.

First time staying on Lake Conroe was exactly what we wanted it to be. Just Incredible. Very nice Condo with everything you need for a relaxing get-a-way. With the boat access right out the patio door, it made it easy for us to spend time on the lake in our own boat and enjoy many of the restaurants in the area. Comfortable, Clean, Quiet. Enjoyed a dip in the pool one evening as well. I can see why many have wanted to reserve with Kris. Thank you again for having such a lovely peace of calm available on the beautiful lake. The written instructions were a little confusing, but over all we had a nice time.

Property is well managed, everything the listing says and more. Very clean, accommodating, easy access to beautiful lake and fishing, and all amenities of home. The host (Kris) was very thorough and easy to contact. A great experience overall. I definitely recommend this to others!!

Loved everything about our stay. The host was very quick to respond with any questions. The lake was literally at our back porch, so if you rent be sure to bring some floats to enjoy the easy lake access. Definitely will look into renting this property again!!!

Very relaxing- times when we did not leave the condo but lots to do when we did- very clean and well stocked just pack your bags and go!

Lovely location, condo was well appointed with everything I needed. Grocery store and restaurants near by, but I chose to cook in rather than go out. I will definitely look at staying again if I have more travel in the area!

Clean, quiet good view of the lake.

Arrived Thursday to work an Event close by. Great location. Due to the extreme cold, icy weather the power went out the first night. Kris didn’t skip a beat - Fortunately for me he had another condo close by & he allowed me to transfer to that unit. Both were nice clean units with beautiful views. Kris was extremely nice to work with.

We enjoyed a rented boat ride, dinner at The Yacht Club, both within walking distance of the condo. Walden was a very nice area and convenient to many amenities. Condo was clean, had a nice pool and view of the lake.

As soon as we walked in, the arm fell off the couch. The kitchen faucet wouldn't shut off completely; sheets and misc. things were balled up and thrown on bedroom closet shelf, we had to clean it up before we could unpack. The pantry was full of other renters things; linens were so worn out they wouldn't stay on the bed; stove burners covered in foil and didn't sit right in place. I didn't use the stove at all. Our first experience with VRBO in 2019 was great! I've learned I have to check properties more closely.

Overall it was a quiet relaxing place.
