Even though the weather was less than ideal, we had a lovely vacation. The rain kept us indoors most of the time, so the game room ended up being a big hit for our (competitive) teenagers! Would love to come back next summer and spend more time outdoors on the water and evenings at the fire. The location of this home is perfect!

Overall great stay with excellent hosts! The lakefront was beautiful although our weather wasn’t the best for the time we were there. The use of the kayaks/paddle boards was an amazing bonus!!! The game room was fun and the adults used more than the kids!! Thank you Mary&John!

This home is perfect! We had a wonderful weekend getaway! Property is just as described and pictures don’t do it justice. Anything you could possibly need or want was there. The shallow bay is perfect for kayaking, swimming and fishing. Evening bonfires right on the water and watching the sunrises every morning was just amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to booking a longer trip next time!

Our only regret about this cottage is that we should have stayed longer! It was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The large living room windows offer great views of the lake. The back deck is rather small but the huge front lawn with Adirondack chairs would be perfect for children to play while adults relax. We were too busy visiting family nearby to take advantage of the ping pong, foosball tables, dart board ... in the garage. Another plus was the two kayaks although one of them could use a new cushion. Having the welcoming owners next door was another advantage when we discovered that our car battery failed. We hope to return next year!

This place is perfect! We wanted to get away for a few days to a property that provided lake fun and boy did this place deliver! The property is beautiful, the lake is in your backyard. The swimming was fantastic. The toys provided (2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards) were an absolute hit! The place is worth it just for the yard and lake but there’s so much more to enjoy here. The house itself is nice and very clean. Nice open floor plan on the main floor. Anything you could need is provided for cooking. The bedrooms were nice and comfortable. To top it off, the large garage is essentially a game room. We played pool, ping pong, foosball and darts whenever we weren’t out in the lake. Fires at night were a blast enhanced by the s’mores which were supplied to us as a welcome gift from the property owner which was extremely kind. We are already talking about when we can stay here again. We DID NOT want to leave!

We had a wonderful time swimming and relaxing with our grandchildren. This was our second time staying at this location and highly recommend it for a nice vacation retreat!

Lovely lake home with plenty to do. Enjoyed kayaking, fishing and bonfires with smores. Relaxed and recharged.

The house is just as the listing with plenty of space for our fanily of 4. The lake was shallow enough for little kids to walk in the water. Loced tgat they supplied paddle boards and kayaks, gane room in garage was fun and bonus that this house has very little Mosquitoes when the area does usually have tons ... i think the heath purple martins that have multi-apartment houses all along the lake really help keep them under control!! Hope to come back in future!!

This property had everything we needed and more! Hosts were very accessible and attentive and John allowed us to alter our original travel plans due to unforeseen circumstances. Our kids had a blast in the kayaks and paddle boards. The game room was perfect for rainy days. The hosts left a sweet welcome card and s’more kit which we enjoyed making in the fire pit. The sunrise view was a beautiful way to start each day. This was a wonderful and relaxing family vacation to celebrate my 50th Birthday!

Mary and John are exceptional owners and the home is beautiful. Lake front access with a beautiful dock for the boat. This was are second time staying at the home and recommend it.

Family of adult enjoyed relaxing while traveling twice to city for graduations. Roomy accommodations. Too cold at night for s’mores but enjoyed great laughs with trivia. Cauliflower pizza at Sami’s was awesome and Dunkin Donuts both 5 min ride. Would love to come back in summer. Owners very responsive.

Everything was as advertised and more! The house was immaculate, with all the amenities anyone would need for their stay! Great hosts - fantastic property with heavenly views of the lake. They ordered the beautiful moon on the water just for us! We can't wait to return!

Mary & John went above and beyond on their property. From the game room, to the fully equipped kitchen, dining area, the layouts of the bedrooms, game closet & basketball court. They were very helpful for any questions or suggestions. We aim to come in the summer next time so we can enjoy the lake & outdoors setting. The close was so spacious & clean. We had a wonderful time at this lake house. The view is awesome and the house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had a great time on and in the lake and in the game room every night, good ping pong tournaments! The parking was more than enough for a boat trailer and 2 trucks. The public boat ramp is close and convenient. Overall a great time!

We enjoyed our stay here so much, everything was lovely from start to finish. The house was clean, comfortable and full of everything you could want to enjoy the outdoors in a gorgeous setting!

The house was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. A beautiful location with a bunch of activities.

Hose was very comfortable and super clean. Lake is clear water and it is no more than waist deep for about 150 yards off shore with multiple sand bars to hang out on and relax. The bedrooms are all great sizes as well as the living room and dining room. The garage converted into a game room for extra fun was awesome with kids! The weekends get busy out in the bay out front of the house because the sand bars are popular to hang out at but the boats seem to stay to the left of the house. It didn’t really affect us in any way. Once the week days hit the lake was calm and peaceful and we had the whole bay to ourselves! Perfect week

The house was everything we expected and more. All communication was easy and fast. The lake was amazing for the whole family. The sandbar extends way out into the lake, So the kids loved walking out in waist deep water and splashing in the sun. The basketball hoop and the games in the garage added extra entertainment for them and we could not have been happier

Wonderful! Beautiful lake view. Very clean. Central ac worked great. Game room was a blast. The bird “ condo” was such fun to watch. Equipped with everything for a great stay. Highly recommend!

The house is perfect! Clean,rommy,comfortable and oh so relaxing!! Quiet and just beautiful. The sunrise is absolutely breathtaking. We really enjoyed all the amenities to the fullest. We didn't want to leave. I haven't been that relaxed in a long time. We had alot of fun. Thank you once again for allowing us to stay in your home for our family vacation!

This is our third year in a row and we cant wait to go back next year. such a relaxed atmosphere. and you dont need to worry about kids while they play hours and hours in the shallow lake. House is equipped with everything we need. Kids are totally entertained with the stuff in the garage, like Table tennis, FoosBall and several other games.

The property has everything you need to feel comfortable and at home, and much more. We enjoyed our stay, the water, the view, and the weather. Highly recommend a visit here!

We really enjoyed our stay on Oneida lake! The house was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed. Our kids loved all the fun things in the garage and my daughter was having a blast with all the games she found in the closet. The view was amazing and we loved being able to dock a boat right at the property. Very relaxing and the hosts are very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

John and Mary are incredible. They were very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. They were also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was extremely helpful. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few nights' stay. Couldn’t have been better. The lake house was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed (and lots of lovely touches / local design and game room). The views of the lake were amazing and the fire pit surrounded by the Cape Cod Adirondack Chairs made for the perfect s’more setting! We capped the evenings with the family around the fireplace watching our favorite movies. The location is unmatched, 20-30 mins away from Syracuse, Zoos, Museums, and more. This is definitely the perfect place to stay. The ultimate compliment came from our youngest son who was wondering if "we can buy John and Mary's lake house." :-D

Lovely house to rent. Very comfortable. Lots to do in the house (games, books) and very close to the lake. John and Mary were exceptional hosts.

Had a good time, enjoyed the property with family. Kids liked the garage with all the games and wife enjoyed the chairs by the lake.

My family and I had a nice relaxing time at the lake house. My 4 year old enjoyed going out on the kayak with his Grandma and going in the water. The foosball, ping pong, pool tables, multiple beds and lots of sitting space inside make his house perfect for friends and/or family to enjoy quality time at the house. The house was very clean and John and Mary were very easy to communicate with.
