Beautiful property at a very convenient location. Host was great and even left us a half dozen fresh eggs during our stay. We had to find a location that was welcoming to our two dogs while we attended a friends wedding and this worked out perfectly. Would happily book another stay in the future

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bluffton Farmhouse. It was the perfect size for my wife and me. The property was well equipped and we loved sitting on the porch and watching the animals. Old Town is just a short 20 minute walk away. Yes the animals make some noise, but overall it is very quiet and peaceful.

Staying at The Farmhouse was pure joy! Loved hearing Jenny greeting you in the morning and Anna's generosity with eggs on a Sunday morning.....compliments of their local hens. It was a perfect weekend!

My husband and I and our dog stayed at the Bluffton Farmhouse for the month of February 2024. The two bedroom apartment above the barn is very comfortable and welcoming. Two couches and easy chairs in the living space, a spacious dining table, and rocking chairs and a chaise out on the veranda. One of the best appointed rentals we've stayed in. You are walking distance to historic Bluffton, just off the main road, but you get back to the barn and the setting is peaceful, beautiful, and quiet (ok, you occasionally hear the donkey but for us it added to the ambiance). The kitchen is well-equipped, not just a sparse collection of old pots and pans, but good quality and a number of sizes and shapes. They even have measuring cups and spoons (we've found few rentals do)! If you are concerned about being above a barn, don't be. You do not smell the animals. Sometimes you hear them, but not often and it is not disruptive. We had a great month at the Bluffton farmhouse and highly recommend it.

We love this property and the owners are amazing. We hope to make this an annual visit!

We really enjoyed our two week visit at the Farmhouse!!the Farmhouse sits over a beautiful barn with horses, an adorable donkey, a miniature horse and a pig named Jenny Craig! There is a fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms and an open plan living room with French doors opening onto a porch where you can look out over two beautiful pastures. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lovely, very comfortable and homey residence for a most relaxing weekend. Mornings on the 2nd floor porch overlooking the horse pastures and the Broad River beyond the trees was idyllic. Quiet, peaceful and serene . . . with an occasional comment from Christmas. You'll have to book it to understand my last comment!

We enjoyed the spacious apartment above the animal stalls. a long driveway leads you to the barn surrounded by horse pastures where the animals go during the day. The horses are beautiful and friendly as is the donkey and miniature horse. The pig pretty much slept the whole time! Easy walk or drive to shopping and sightseeing. Thank you for having us!

Great location, close to restaurants but on a farm away from everything at the same time. Loved all the animals!

Fun weekend with friends at the 'barn'. Hospitality was excellent and it was fun to hang with the animals.

We enjoyed our stay at the farm. The property was as described and was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed visiting with the animals down below in the barn. The check in was very easy and we were even allowed to check in early. Anne was very responsive. Our doggy enjoyed the farm as well and my husband enjoyed sitting out on the porch overlooking the farm and reading in the early morning. We plan to come back for another visit. The only problem was we had family staying in Hilton Head and the traffic was a little heavy at times. Thanks the Howells

Beautiful apartment over a barn. Reminded me of a Lexington horse farm but with palm trees and Spanish moss. Apartment was very nice, all the amenities (loved the Kuerig.) Very homey and full of antiques. Loved the horses, miniature donkey and especially Jenny Craig the pig. Big front porch offering tranquility and gorgeous views. Seemed far removed from over crowded Hilton Head but still close to everything. Quaint, picturesque Bluffton a couple of miles away. Owner very helpful. We didn’t want to leave.

The home and surrounding property exceeded expectations. We found complete relaxation just to sit on the upper porch overlooking the horse pastures and soak in the beauty and peacefulness. Anna is a wonderful and very accommodating host, we so enjoyed meeting her and all her animals.

2nd time at the farmhouse and we had blast again! Will definitely be back.

Our stay at the barn was relaxing and did not disappoint. Anna was always a text away in case we needed anything, which we didn't. We loved being close to Olde Town Bluffton but yet far enough away to be secluded. You would never know you were staying in the second story of a barn! Would definatly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, quaint getaway.

Our style is country; quiet, peaceful. We don’t mind the hustle and bustle of small towns or cities; we lived there. During our stay we wanted quiet, peaceful but close to what’s going on. This property is everything we were looking for. Close to downtown Bluffton, a quick walk to restaurants. But quiet and peaceful with great views of the property and animals. Delicately decorated. We enjoyed the morning coffee on the front deck and wine in the Evening. Fully stocked. Definitely a second trip is forthcoming.

We loved staying on the farm! Our dogs enjoyed the acreage to roam around & wanted to visit the animals as much as we did. We enjoyed lounging on the 2nd floor porch. The farm is walking distance to old bluffton. We were able to enjoy walking to the local parks, tourist attractions & restaurants. Would recommend

If you're going to stay at a home - and are looking for both an experience and a memory - this is it. Our 2-year-old was ENTHRALLED by the animal residents. It was magical to walk out on the porch with coffee and watch the horses in the morning. The living quarters were divine. Top notch amenities. The porch, again, just so lovely and we spent much of our time there. Incredibly central to Old Town. We didn't walk - but could have. We're already dreaming of a return trip.

Amazing!!! I love how Anna, the Property owner and Dawn allowed my granddaughter to help with feedings and taking the animals out and back in for the day. Anna is absolutely one of the nicest persons around. Thank each of you that played a part in making this a pleasant and memorable stay.

Lovely home, quiet and secluded yet very close to the town of Bluffton. We loved visiting with all of the farm animals, especially the friendly donkey who always seemed to be looking for a human to say hello to :-) The home is clean and very nicely decorated. Has all of the basics that you may need - coffee, sugar, spices, oils, etc. Dishes were supplied, towels were supplied, like I said, all of the basics you could think of. One of the things that my husband and I noticed was how easy check in and check out was. The owner reached out to us on our long drive from NJ and left the lights on and made sure that we found the place ok, and check out was extremely simple compared to some other places that I have stayed. Overall, we had a fabulous time, the home is beautiful and spacious, and we would return again if visiting Bluffton.

This was a wonderful property! The owners were amazing. We really enjoyed all the animals but Christmas, the donkey, was our favorite! Where else do you get to stay on a farm! Bluffton is an adorable town with lots of cute shops, restaurants, and parks. Relatively walkable as well. It is also a great location for day trips and seeing the area - super-close to - Hilton Head, Savannah, Tybee, etc.

This farmhouse is simply darling! It is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. It has a terrace in the back overlooking the property which is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. The farmhouse sits above the barn that houses Christmas the donkey, Jenny the pig, and a horse. It is the perfect place to be within Bluffton...close enough to drive to Hilton Head and spend the day at the beach, without having to stay in that congested area (in the summer). The owners were very responsive and kind.

We had a great time. Everything was clean and prepared for us when we arrived. Kids especially enjoyed all the animals. We will definitely come back!

We loved staying at the farm! My family enjoyed checking to see where the pig had wandered. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed- extra sheets and towels, coffee pods, and peace & quiet!
