The location was great. Close to restaurants & about a 15-20 min walk to the Ubon (subway). It was very hot our first few days and only 1 fan. No A/C. All of Berlin was stating that global warming has made it very hot in Berlin. I reached out to Daniel and he allowed me a reimbursable amt to buy a fan or room A/C unit. We did take time out of our vacation to do so (to make it comfortable enough to sleep). The apartment only has 2 Windows which face a courtyard so no breezes came in at night. We did receive reimbursement for the a/c and it’s now available for future guests. The not so good part…. In contrast to my sisters apartment, this unit was older and not as well furnished or kep up… The bathroom door handle was loose & falling apart. The only amenities in the bathroom was a cheap bottle of shampoo/body wash on the shower floor. (maybe the last tenant left) & tampons? Dishes & coasters cracked. Teflon pan in kitchen in bad shape & peeling. No amenities really provided in the kitchen . Chairs were dirty and stained. Not a 2 bedroom place. 1 bdrm & a bed in the living /dining room. The accommodations lacked a book or manual to tell guests anything. We went the whole stay without knowing that coffee was in a frosted flake tin on the counter. We thought just decoration. The handle to the freezer was broken. Light fixtures were dangling from ceiling. All of this could be resolved with some care/ repair & updating /cleaning. Overall we liked the apartment & response from owne.

The apartment should have been checked before our arrival. Many things were missing and or dirty like the sheets ( which is unacceptable: one bed was taken care of after our complaints; the other not). The landlord tried his best to correct the faults and even offered us a restaurant breakfast for free ( nice gesture) but you do not come for a weekend abroad to start arguing about a ditry and old frying pan, dirty sheets, missing soap and shampoo, dirty dishwashing sponges and above all a second set of keys with a group of 3 people( almost unworkable during a visit to a big city) which was denied to us. Also I expected a two bedroom appt but it had only one bedroom. The couple in our company slept in the dining room. This all is not what was to be expected.

Nice apartment with restaurants in the area.

Leuk appartement met één slaapkamer met tweepersoonsbed en een woonkamer met half afgesloten keuken, met in het woongedeelte nog een tweepersoonsbed. Badkamer is verder prima. Goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Mooie locatie, rustig buurtje (sjeik aanvoelend) vlakbij de Kudamm. Minpunten: geen zitbank (is beslist ruimte voor), wel wasmachine maar geen wasrek. Keukeninrichting redelijk basaal (geen afwasmachine) en beetje vettig. Al met al 4 uit 5 sterren wat ons betreft.

Behageligt og roligt område. Tæt på u-bahn og indkøbsmuligheder. Mange gode caféer og butikker. Lejligheden pæn og funktionel.

For us, to be walking distance to family outweighed any drawbacks to this well-located, reasonable and well-equipped apartment. On the ground floor in the courtyard, it’s quiet but rather dark. One side of the main bed is right against the wall, and it’s too heavy to move — not comfortable for the person in that spot. Heavy duvet and tired pillows. The second bed was a fine alternative for one, but would have the same problem for two. That said, great shower, fine kitchen, and Daniel was very nice and helpful on the phone when we struggled to turn on the stove top, which had a child lock engaged. Instructions would help for travelers used to gas stoves.

Sehr gute Lage in Nähe des Ku’damms. Parken im Parkhaus QFürst gut möglich mit großem Rewe Supermarkt. Alles modern und sauber eingerichtet.

Emplacement ideal. Zentral, transport public a proximité, mais rue tranquille. Appartement propre, assez grand, bien équipé et bien decoré.
