Loved it, would stay there again.

The property was too close to the sand bar. No real swimming for adults. Water too shallow. It was a great place to relax with relatives and share big family meals. Kitchen very well stocked.

My family and I made wonderful memories in this home. This house felt like a home to us. It was exactly as described and pictures. The home had absolutely every little odds and ends we needed to complete our stay. The owners were quick to reply and very kind. You will not regret renting this property. The views and local access was perfect.

The location is great. The house is spotless. The host answered all of my questions quickly. Enough towels and such were provided for normal use so i didn't feel the need to do laundry daily

We had an overall nice weekend. Sad it rained but the place is well stocked and supplied. It was nice to be able to use the garage. Since all adults sleeping arrangements were a little off. The tv was a walk thru from the masted

This place is awesome. Right on the water, super clean, very well appointed and excellent communication with the owners. The place is right near the sand bar and the water is shallow pretty far out, it was perfect for younger kids. We absolutely loved our time here and hope we can come back next year!

This is a lovely home, beautifully furnished - right on the lake. Very responsive owner when we had a problem. My only caveat is the "third bedroom" which is very small and actually a pass-through from the garage/master bedroom area to the front of the house where the kitchen and 2nd bedroom are. Not much privacy! Otherwise, one of the very best VRBOs I have ever stayed in.

The description says, it is newly updated and it is! The home was very nicely furnished, equipped, and clean. The owners have been doing some remodeling and it shows. Our stay, which consisted of 4 adults, was in the winter as we went skiing somewhat nearby. I can imagine that this property would also be fantastic in the summer as it is right on the water. A question came up, during our stay, and the owners were very responsive. Reading some of the previous comments, in the guest book, there is mention of return visits.
I can definitely see why. We hope to come back and stay here again.

We were traveling for my Gram's memorial up in St.Helen, and this place was amazingly welcoming and peaceful. It have a a great place to rest, enjoy family, and enjoy family memories. Waking up to the lake each morning while drinking coffee was brilliant.
Our host was so very accommodating, the booking was fast and easy. They provided a location that allowed us to enjoy time with each other.

The house is in a nice neighborhood and plenty of parking was available. The house was spotless, with all the things we needed to feel at home. We appreciated having the yard "toys" for our 5 yr. old grandson. We appreciated having the linens supplied because it meant less packing for us. There isn't much to do around the area if you're looking for cute shopping districts or amusements for kids, but it didn't really matter.

Pictures capture the property accurately. In fact, I found the outdoor space to be even better than expected (closer to the water than I thought) solid sturdy dock and the water is nice and clean. Solid sandy bottom as you walk out (no muck)
The house is well cared for with quality furnishings inside and out. We had a couple of overcast days but the living room was cozy and comfortable for a day of TV and a nice big table for some playing cards.
I would highly recommend this house to anyone, zero complaints and a great value.

The house was very clean and well-stocked for our visit. We had 2 minor issues that popped up and the owner was very quick to respond and help us resolve them. The house is on a part of the lake that is connected to a sandbar and our kids loved being able to walk right out to that.

This property checked all the boxes for us! Right on the water, spacious indoors, open kitchen, two full bathrooms, well stocked and very accommodating property owners. We will definitely be back!

Cottage is perfect size. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Extras like pantry items and yard games were so appreciated.
Truly relaxed…enjoyed the peace and quiet. Strolled Higgins Lake State Park, rented a pontoon at Brian’s boat rental and made a fire in the fire pit…fell asleep early every night and woke up at 6:30 to watch the sunrise…definitely worth setting the alarm for!!
