This was a beautiful cottage in an even more beautiful neighborhood. The pictures don’t quite do it justice. The front porch/patio is beautiful and private as is the back patio right off of the bedroom. We would definitely stay here again, in fact we’d check first to see if this place was open. If you are thinking of staying in Santa Barbara, Montecito is much better and very close to Santa Barbara. Quieter, still has great restaurants and everything is amazing to look at.

We needed a place to stay for a special showing of our work at East Valley Design's new gallery. We didn't want to fight traffic or parking etc. so when I found your place online it was a miracle! We will book again and again for any trip south of SLO county. 10 stars across the board.

We had such a nice time here and were so happy with this bungalow. The perfect size for two. A quaint patio courtyard that was perfect for appetizers and a bottle of wine. Super clean and nicely appointed. Can't say enough good things about it.

Pat was the most gracious host and we loved staying at the Blue Door. My parents rented the unit next door and it was so fun for our kids to go back and forth easily. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to be back soon!

Traveled from LA to visit Lotus Land for the weekend. This was the perfect place to stay, quiet, private, clean. Ended up staying mostly in Montecito for meals and visited the Miramar beach.

Very clean, comfortable for two and nicely equipped. Excellent communication with owner who had our blurry TV replaced with a new one in short order. This was our first longer term stay in Montecito, and we very much enjoyed the area. However, we were unaware that this area has few if any sidewalks, so as great walkers, that was a challenge.

We could not have asked for more during our stay. This cottage was well located on a quiet street. The inside was beautifully appointed and immaculate. Everything we could have needed was well supplied. A real gem.

Cute cottage that offers everything you need in a cute sideside town: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, private back terrace, laundry and BBQ. Montecito offers many restaurant options and there are ride services to get there and back. 10 minute drive to gorgeous state beach.

If you are in the Santa Barbara area for a few days, this is a wonderful alternative to a hotel. The bungalow is tres chic, immaculate, and a well outfitted kitchen, fully supplied with coffee and tea. Pierre Lafond is minutes away for great takeout and there are many terrific restaurants nearby. My visit included a visit to Lotus Land, and the bungalow was conveniently located. I will definitely return. Thank you Pat for your hospitality.

Property was as advertised! Well-kept, clean, one-bedroom cottage in the middle of Montecito. Well furnished with ample cooking and cleaning supplies. Close to shopping, dining and coffee options though it's probably a bit too far to walk. We would definitely come back.

We stayed at this property with my husband, 3yo, and I. It was in a nice and quiet pocket of Montecito.
The house had everything we needed for cooking each morning. I loved that the property was private and my son was able to wander around the front and back of the house without us worrying he would wander off.
We loved the indoor/outdoor living spaces as well.
The house is not necessarily in a walkable area, but it was a quick 5min drive to everything within Montecito, as well as only about a 10min drive into Santa Barbara.
We would absolutely stay here again.

We've stayed at the blue door bungalow twice and it's been perfect both times! The location, check in process and home itself was so seamless. We can't wait to come back every year!

The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay (beach towels, comfy bed, coffee, etc.). location was ideal, nice to have a little front patio and cute chairs in the back off the bedroom - we couldn't have asked for a better spot to call home base.

The location was ideal and the place was adorable, clean and very comfortable with a nice updated kitchen and the bungalow was appointed well. Patio space was a real bonus, too!
The only thing that I would recommend is an interior deadbolt on the front door in addition to the lock since the occupant does not know who else has keys.
We would stay there again in a minute! Nice, sleepy neighborhood with uncrowded beaches and good restaurants. Lots of things to do nearby if desired, as well.
Weather was gorgeous and just a perfect space for a getaway and a rest.
