This property is a little slice of peaceful heaven. There’s nothing quite like drinking your morning coffee in the backyard with the ocean waves crashing in below you. The dogs enjoyed lying in the sun in the backyard and all the dog-friendly hiking recommendations. We are getting back on the road with two very tired, happy pups! This unique property is a perfect little hideaway and the owner couldn’t have been kinder.

My family and I loved our stay at this charming Brookings home with beach views. It was perfect for our family of four and small dog. John was a great host. His communication was excellent. The home was clean and had everything we needed. We will be back.

I can not say enough good things about the house, the location and the owner. It was one of our best trips with our dogs. The house is spotless, the location is walkable to beach/restaurants and shopping. We are already choosing our dates to return!

We had the best time in Brookings. We loved the house. Perfect location, and the views of the ocean are spectacular. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was a great place to relax. We really enjoyed sitting at the firepit in the evening. It is one of the best dog friendly rentals ever! The owner was super helpful and responsive. He gave us great recommendations for dining out and even directed us to several fishing spots. We look forward to coming back!

Stayed here at the end of Spring Break 2024; great weather, great view from the living room, very friendly owner with helpful and very thoughtful communication through out the entire stay! Even had a little fun with the Easter bunny hiding some eggs around the property for the kids to wake up to [they had no clue He followed us to the beach :-) ]. Also, was able to bring our new pup for her first beach visit ever! Great trip, great little place to stay with a great view!

It really does look like this from the main living room window, although we had fabulous stormy seas in late December. Perfect size for two adults but the three beds could sleep five. I wish it was closer so I could visit more often.

I chose this house because of the yard but my dog ended up staying home with my daughter’s new dog, so the yard was wasted on me but The house was comfy and cozy and right on the water. Very clean and the host was excellent with recommendations of things to do.

It was exactly what we were looking for to get away for a few days and admire the beauty of the Oregon coast. Nice and clean place, great location, reasonable price. We loved it and definitely recommended to visit this property.

It is a second time we returned to this place for our family vacation. House is very clean, remodeled and has everything you might need for comfortable and relaxing vacation time. Great location, stunning views! The owner, John, really cares about property and his guests and makes sure your stay is very comfortable and you have everything you need. )

The house was cozy and just what we were looking for. I couldn’t feel more at easy with the communication from the host from his communication well ahead of time to willingness to meet us when we arrived.

Clean, light, and airy with amazing ocean views right from the backyard! We used the fire pit every night and enjoyed the incredible sunsets. The home was clean and well stocked. Excellent communication from the property manager.

Great place we could relax with friends and our dog!

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. We love it for several reasons. First it’s dog friendly which is very important. It has a fenced yard and very safe. The view is amazing of the ocean and the fire pit for roasting marshmallows is great. The house is well stocked. It has room for 4 people and more if kids with bunk beds in one bedroom. The one thing that needs improvement is the beds. The mattress is very uncomfortable and I think is on its last leg. Overall we would stay again as you can’t beat location. John the host is very attentive to any needs you may have. We will be back.

Amazing place for a coastal getaway. John, the host, was attentive and friendly. House was super clean and fully stocked. There aren't many options when traveling with a dog, but this place fits the bill with a fenced in yard and dog friendly recommendations for outings. Beds were a bit soft, but otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay and a lovely time.

Comfortable, beautiful, easy and close to Brookings/Harbor area.

The property was great with a beautiful view. The inside was bright and well lit. The neighborhood and property arrangement provided privacy snd comfort. Even know there is not direct beach access, its super close and convenient just to pop right down to the harbor. We all loved it and can't wait to return. The host was great and made absolutely sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Here are some quick notes. 😊 It’s a cozy cottage overlooking the gorgeous coast and the sunset views are amazing. It’s clean and close to shops and restaurants. My dogs were happy and loved the yard. We had lots of rain during our stay but that didn’t keep us from enjoying our time. John is very helpful and very welcoming with lots of suggestions for when you’re out and about. Yes, we would book again.

Very relaxing and the weather was great. Even the day if day rain. The dogs loved it as well. John the owner was fantastic.

Let’s start with John. He was attentive, friendly and reliable from the start. We met up with him at the house before our actual check-in time. He showed us the property and where to find anything we may need. He also had a neat little binder with a lot of information about where to eat, suggested attraction, and suggestions of where we could take our 2 Newfoundland’s for fun other than to the beach. He was easy to get a hold of when we had a question or two. The house is exactly as stated on VRBO and didn’t disappoint. There was plenty of firewood to burn in the fire pit and comfortable chairs to sit in while watching the sunset around the fire. We did spot some wildlife from the backyard with John’s spotting scope and the binoculars we had brought with us. We saw quite a few sea lions on a buoy that’s a ways out. On pelican rock you can obviously see pelicans but after high tide we saw (through the binoculars) starfish on the rocks. It was also nice watching some of the fishermen catching their catch in the mornings. Overall a great stay, not far from dining and attractions with an attentive host.

Owner was full of helpful information on local favorites and great dive bars. Location of the property is located perfectly to restaurants and everything you need. No need to ever hit the Highway for any reason. Had a wonderful time and even better dining experience.
