Quiet getaway with my mom and daughter . We have been doing this for 2 years now and this area is very quiet to get away and relax . We enjoyed this condo it’s very nice and clean . The views are beautiful . It’s not too far from Banner Elk, Boone, or Blowing Rock .

We had an amazing time. Easy walk to the top of the mountain to ski down or get dropped off. Kitchen was stocked well and everything was very clean and up to date.

We loved our stay at Dean's place! So cozy! The house was immaculate and decorated so cute! The view was spectacular! The beds were comfy and the fireplace added extra coziness and warmth! The kitchen and bathrms. were fully equipped and updated! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again sometime! :)

Dean is great to work with. Condo is always clean and everything works as it should, which doesn’t always happen with other rental companies. Great instructions and communications. View is fabulous. Our second stay, but the weather cooperated this time. Will stay again for sure. Location very convenient to hikes and wineries.

My friend and I were extremely happy with our stay! Dean has done a great job in all the little details and we liked how the condo is decorated...so many mountain touches! The back deck provides a spectacular view of those gorgeous mountain ranges, and we had a front row-seat to a beautiful sunset. The beds were really comfy, and the unit was so clean. Coming back in the late aftenoon October weather and turning on the fireplace....awesome! Definitely want to return...thanks, Dean!

Dean went above and beyond answering our questions. Pretty much everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing stay was available. You can tell Dean put a lot of thought into outfitting the place to ensure his guests were able to relax and be stress-free. The views from the back deck are phenomenal, as well.

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains and the peaceful quiet of the neighborhood. The condo was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Dean was helpful and responsive. We would definitely love to come back.

The unit is very nice and very well stocked. The furniture is comfortable and up to date. The views from both the great room and the master bedroom are spectacular. The TV setup is very good with cable and the easy ability to log onto your video services such as YouTube TV. In addition, if you like to watch movies on DVD, Dean must have 200 or so that are almost new. Each bedroom plus the great room are set up with a smart TV and a DVD player.
The kitchen has all the essentials we needed for our stay.
Dean was very good in communicating both before and during our stay.
We plan on staying here again in the future.

Being from Florida, Sugar Mountain is our favorite place to go to escape the Florida heat in August. This property is superior in every way to other properties where we have stayed. It is accurately depicted on the website and did not disappoint! Hope to visit again in the future.

We stayed for a long weekend family ski trip. Property was clean, in great condition and well furnished/stocked. Convenient location and amazing views off the back porch. Entry is down 1 level from ground, but not a big deal. Would definitely stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had a great time staying at this condo for a quick family ski trip this weekend. The condo was very clean and accommodating. The beds were comfy. Linens and extra blankets were a huge plus. The kitchen was very well appointed. The condo is centrally located near all the attractions with Sugar Mountain within 2 miles going back roads. The view is spectacular from the balcony. Our host was very responsive and pleasant to work with. Definitely will stay here again!

The place was marvelous.Mountain views are great front porch area.Cleanliness of the condo was amazing and the amenities was just as described.Everything about this place just made it feel cozy and at home. This is now our family’s #1 place to stay when we return each year! Great job Dean!

My family had the best vacation staying here in this Immaculate condo. It was very cozy with fireplace and very comfortable. It is convenient to restaurants, shopping and blue ridge parkway, banner elk and grandfather mountain. You’re family will enjoy!!

We have just returned from a wonderful three day visit to Sugar Mountain. As a family we have had many trips up to Sugar over many many years. No where we have ever stayed compares to this. The owners attention to detail was unbelievable.. Beautiful unit with great views!

This property has some of the best views in/around sugar mountain. The interior was impeccably clean and the interior design was something you would find in a high country custom home located in a private residence. Highly recommended to visit with friends and family. Location is in close proximity to sugar/beech/ grandfather mountain and downtown banner elk.

The house was furnished beautifully and the views of the mountains were amazing! The house is in close proximity to Grandfather Mountain, great hiking trails and skiing. Also, the house is near many great restaurants and shops.

We had an amazing time this weekend on Sugar Mountain. Dean is an amazing host keeping us updated on the condo and even it had it ready for check-in to regular time. The condo was absolutely beautiful and it had spectacular views. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped.

Another Perfect Visit
This was our second trip staying in the condo. I didn't think it could have been better than last time, and it was! The condo was well-equipped and the sheets were so soft. I always enjoy going through the guest book and everyone always talks about the couch in the living room. Great gathering area and SO comfortable. Five stars all around. Thanks Dean!
