We enjoyed the cottage house! It was beautifully decorated and just a delightful place to stay. Location was convenient to downtown as well. Wish our stay was longer but if we are ever back in the area will stay again.

We arrived and were thrilled to see the house was along the MTSU Homecoming Parade route. Simply walked up to the corner (1 house back from Main Street) and there was the parade. We were able to walk to the tailgate and football game in no time. The home is beautifully decorated and has great outdoor space as well. Owners are wonderful to communicate with and such gracious hosts. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home for a stay in Murfreesboro.

Very lovely cottage in downtown area. Furnishings and cleanliness excellent. Rebecca was truly a Superhost. She was very prompt communicating and very helpful when I had questions about the area. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

We had a wonderful trip celebrating our son's graduation from MTSU. The Picket Fence Cottage was the perfect place to call home for our family. Clean, cozy, well appointed, close to MTSU, quite neighborhood and just overall cute! We definitely recommend to others. Rebecca is very responsive and her homemade cinnamon rolls were terrific!

We have traveled extensively and stayed in many vacation homes over the years, but none of them can compare to the experience of Rebecca and Dan’s cottage. They have thought of everything imaginable, to make the accommodation comfortable. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, but just minutes away from everything we needed. The accommodations were immaculate both in and out. The attention to detail and the attentiveness of our hosts made this a memorable experience for my family and myself. Definitely planning on a return visit!

It was a wonderful experience as a first timer using VRBO and renting a house.

This was by far the cleanest and best equipped VRBO that we have ever rented! It was lovely in every way and better than the pretty photos. Communication with the owner was excellent in that she is timely and polite. We definitely felt welcomed!

The cottage is so beautiful & well kept! The hosts are very responsive & and so nice! Everything was great, and the location is very convenient.

This was the most amazing stay to date and we've stayed in quite a few VRBOs. From the 1st inquiry to Rebecca, to the last message that we left, it was THE BEST experience ever! House was clean, comfy, it felt homey, she left homemade cinnamon buns on the kitchen island along with a note to our dear daughter wishing her luck at the camp she was invited to play in. That personal touch really hit a home run with us. We cooked, we continued to eat as a family in the beautiful dining room, played one of our favorite games in the backyard during our down time, slept in the comfy beds, etc. I can go on and on. There is no way I would stay anywhere else the next time I am in Murfreesboro! If you want yummy Mac n Cheese balls, you NEED TO go to The Boulevard Bar & Grille. You can walk or drive. The service was impeccable. Hoping to be back in July 2023. Thank you Rebecca and Dan for sharing your beautiful home which we loved so much! We didn't want to leave :)

Just a beautiful place in a super cute town with Tennessee hospitality. From the hand written note to the homemade cinnamon rolls (I MUST get that recipe!), we felt so very welcome.

The cottage was just as pictured. Our communication with Rebecca was easy. The beds were comfy and the backyard is gorgeous!

My family and I loved staying at this Vintage Cottage during our unfortunately short visit to TN. It had so much charm and was so comfortable to stay in. The owners were great! Rebecca went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a wonderful one. Very personable. I would highly recommend this property and I look forward to staying again in the near future.

Rebecca and Dan were extremely responsive and the cottage was perfect for our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights Pickett Fence. The cottage was clean and had all you need to feel at home away from home. Rebecca was responsive and replied to questions promptly. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was stocked with plush towels, nice shampoo, conditioner as well as lotion. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, bowls, untensils, coffee mugs and more. The location is closed to the university and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, appreciating some unique architecture in the area. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Rebecca for being such a great host.

We loved our stay at Picket Cottage! Rebecca, the owner, was a pleasure to work with! She was accommodating of our schedule and allowed an early check in and had freshly baked cinnamon buns waiting for us upon our arrival! The Picket Cottage was the perfect destination for our daughter’s soccer games in Murfreesboro! It was very clean, well appointed, great backyard area and nice neighborhood! We hope to stay again sometime soon!
