We were thrilled that the host allowed us early entrance to the property as the weather had effected our plans for the day. The house was warm and welcoming, the beds were comfy and everything was clean. The fire was a really cosy treat and the cupboard of toys was a bonus for our 4 year old. The view and surrounds were beautiful and impressed our exchange student! We picked this location for its proximity to the Glow Worms and that didn't disappoint.

Not at all a criticism of the host or property but just a warning to prospective holiday makers - bring your own food supplies! The nearby pub has closed permanently and we could only find a fancy winery restaurant or a cafe that closed in the afternoon - neither were suitable for dinner for us. There is beauty in isolation but difficulty when you have hungry kids! I should have done more research on that aspect :)

Everything just wish it was a little less rain but we made the most of it.

They need a bigger sign out the front but everything else was perfect.

It is a lovely, comfy home with beautiful views. Loved the fireplace. Felt extremely relaxed . Would definitely recommend it.
