Carpets were so disgusting we could not let our 2 year old crawl. The kitchen drawers had old popcorn spilled and termite dust both in the drawer and on the kitchen window

This home is amazing. Close to everything, updated, cozy, etc. The company is great to work with. We have been renting this cabin for 27 years and will be back next year, God willing.

The property was dirty when we got there. The patio was very dusty and the inside fans looked like rat hair all over the fans. Perfect way to cool your room since there is no AC. The dishes were almost all very chipped and cracked and we had little ones there. The whole kitchen power shut off randomly middle of breakfast. Host was called and promised a price adjustment. Never happened. Broken lamps in the bedroom falling apart. We had to drive 2 blocks to throw away garbage. Terrible. Host said they would credit our account after everything and never did. NEVER AGAIN STAY WITH PROPERTIES BY VACASA

The cabin was located close to the pizza place in the main town. There was plenty of space in this rental. One bedroom downstairs was great for those who have trouble going upstairs. Full size laundry inside. Nice patio and table outside for crisp morning breakfast and warm sunny lunches. The couches are a little dated and the carpet upstairs, but overall not a problem. The fireplace can get a bit smokey in the cabin so I would advise not to use it unless the fan is going and windows open. I’m a frequent traveler and would stay here again.

Spent our 3 years wedding anniversary here and we have no regrets at al! Thank you for an amazing stay!

The cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Will be back!

The cabin was easy to find and fit our needs well. There were a few small inconveniences we experienced but nothing extreme. When we arrived the heater was not working properly but the management company acted quickly and sent out a technician to fix it when we notified them. Unfortunately the wonderful wood burning fireplace was also not in working order. We double checked that the flue was open before building the fire but the house quickly filled with smoke. The smoke detectors seemed to not be in working order either because they never went off. The house became very cold quickly since it was snowing outside. We are so grateful that a technician was able to come fix the heater as quickly as they did. Some of the dishes in the kitchen were not clean either. We had to wash the dishes before we could use them. Everything else was wonderful. Our kids loved being able to watch their favorite shows on tv while up there. The internet worked well. The rest of the house was very neat and clean.

I have stayed at this cabin multiple times in the past and have had good experiences. However, this time it was not up to the standard I had come to expect. The entire kitchen was pretty filthy. All utensils, bowls, cups, pots, everything had to be cleaned thoroughly before use because they were visibly very dirty. I don't expect spotlessness but paying a huge cleaning fee I would expect at least some level of cleanliness in the kitchen. There were blankets (mainly the comforter in the master bedroom) that had good sized pieces eaten out of them by (presumably) rodents. And frankly the master bedroom bed is not at all comfortable even by rental/hotel standards. If you are staying here I would strongly suggest bringing your own pillows. One of the two lamps in the living room could not work because the switch was broken off of it. Water pressure in the main bathroom felt like getting hit by a garden hose full blast, and would sputter on and off. Other than those facts, it is a decent place to stay. It is a good location and well built cabin, with a good water heater and central A/C unit. It is sad to see that lack of upkeep and cleaning have seemingly brought it down in quality so much. The previous renter paid a big cleaning fee for the next just like me and I feel like they are skimping out on using that money to really clean the property well.
