We own/have owned rental properties in vacation destinations. Hawaii and Lake Tahoe. We appreciated how easy the check in process was, how well appointed the house was, and everything about our stay. We will definitely rent this house again!

We were 5 long-time college friends reuniting in Carmel from both coasts. This home was perfect in size, comfort, amenities, cleanliness and overall ambience. Its proximity to Big Sur, Carmel & Monterey provided us with lots of outdoor time in between enjoying great dining opportunities and each other's company. The only clarification that should be made in the listing is that while there are 3 full bathrooms, two of them can only be accessed by entering the master suite, which could complicate some logistics for guests.

Beautiful home. Was unaware of the backyard being gravel rocks. Hard to walk on for both myself and the dogs. They seem to scatter everywhere. We loved the fact that the back yard was completely fenced in.

Absolutely perfect! The layout was wonderful, the location couldn’t be better and they had every amenity possible. We will hopefully be back soon!

This property should be convenient for a small group of adults. Stairs could be a safety hazard for young children and older adults. It served our purposes well.

Everything was perfect. Clean, very well stocked and thought out house with fun hot tub. Good location. Friendly rental management company. Very responsive property manager. You can’t go wrong!

Lovely house, hot tub and fire pit. Nice location and novel to have two primary suite bathrooms.

Beautiful home is a fabulous location. Fully stocked. Great backyard, clean hot tub, the fire pit was fun. AC was dreamy. Minor issues: Primary room screen was torn and the indoor fireplace wouldn’t turn on.

The house and yard were as pictured in the listing. It was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. The kitchen has a Sub Zero refrigerator, Wolf stove and Bosch dishwasher with dishes and utensils to match. The outdoor area is perfect for evening cocktails and very private. The location is convenient to Carmel. It’s one of the nicest short term properties we’ve stayed in to date.

We had a lovely few days in this immaculate and luxuriously fitted property. It’s like staying with a friend, so well equipped with everything you could need. Highly recommend.

Everything about this stay was excellent the property manager Marco was an excellent communicator as well as an impeccable host with everything in the house arranged perfectly with all the needs you would want! The house was very spacious beautiful & simply decorated We would highly recommend this rental!!

High end appliances, comfy beds and bedding, great location, walk to Scenic Drive, plenty of space for three couples, backyard had bags game, hot tub, fire pit with s’mores supplies, nice bbq grill, beautiful garden and hot tub. Loved the fireplace in the living room. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

We were able to spend Easter with our parents at this very comfortable spacious home.

The house is lovely and well equipped. Even the pots and pans and dishes were nice. The jacuzzi was great. Our contact coordinator, Marco, was very responsive and helpful. I have no complaints.

Immaculately clean throughout and well-appointed home. Even the hottub was in pristine condition. This home worked perfectly for our trip and had many thoughtful touches like a binder with a list of local favorites and other details about the house. The enclosed backyard was perfect for our labrador retriever. Marcos did a great job communicating with us on checkin procedures, even providing his cellphone in the case of any questions. It is about 5 minutes walk to the Carmel Mission, 10 minutes walk to Mission Ranch Inn, and walkable to Carmel's Ocean Ave if you're wanting a long walk for exercise and to see all the charming homes surrounding Carmel. The Crossroads shopping and restaurant area is conveniently a 5 minute drive away. I would absolutely stay at this home again and highly recommend it to others.

Could not recommend this house more highly. My family and I booked it for a week away over the Holidays, and between the house itself (spacious inside and out), the location (less than a mile to downtown Carmel, easy access to 1 for drives to Monterey/Pacific Grove/Big Sur), and the helpful management staff, it was a great stay. The hot tub and fire pit were both particularly highlights. The house was also very well stocked with cooking materials, exercise equipment, and games/toys. The only thing I would flag -- while the house is a true 3 bathroom, 2 of the bathrooms are located on the top floor inside the entrance to the master suite. So the downstairs bedrooms do share a bathroom, and as the group is hanging upstairs, people need to enter the primary bedroom in order to use one of the bathrooms on the second floor. In any case, a great stay for any family or group of close friends!

Our stay at Carmel’s Serenity by the Sea was great. The accommodations were beautiful, very clean, comfortable, spacious, and well maintained. The back yard of the property is extremely well landscaped and is gorgeous. Backyard is very private with fencing and tall hedges that provide a private and luxiourous feeling outdoors. Just a note, the property listing indicates 3 bathrooms but, two of the bathrooms are joined to a large walk-in closet that is part of the en suite bathroom for the master bedroom only (both bathroom areas are only accessible via entry through the master bedroom) Neighborhood is very quiet. No loud traffic noise or other disturbances noted during our stay. Marco with the Property Management company was easily accessible via cell phone or text messaging and even offered to come to the property to assist in showing the features of the house upon our arrival if needed. Luckily, we did not need any assistance or need to call upon Marco for any anything, but it was nice to know that there was a direct person to contact easily and quickly. The property is only located about 5 plus minutes via car to downtown Carmel and the nearby beaches, which made it very convenient to visit and enjoy the area. The house is well appointed with many amenities and has most everything needed to enjoy your stay. You will definitely enjoy your stay at Serenity by the Sea.

This home was perfect for our stay. Everything from the comfortable beds with exquisite linens to the great bathrooms made our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Carmel, California.

Wonderful place, yes the layout is unique, with 2 big bedrooms as bathroom on the down stairs and a master, living room, and kitchen upstairs. Very clean, this house was equipped with everything. There were multiple fans (we like fans at night), extra bedding, blankets, pillows, so many towels. The kitchen had everything we needed including Tupperware. The secluded and fenced in backyard was perfect for our family and dogs, and the hot tub was perfect and super relaxing. The neighborhood was tucked away and quiet but close to food, town, beach, shops etc. Would def recommend anyone stay here, and we would come back. Wonderful place to relax, very versatile!!

Great house with everything needed for a getaway. Walking distance to downtown and only 1/4 mile to scenic shore walk. Everything was clean including the hot tub in the secluded back yard which is a mini oasis. Small chefs kitchen was perfect like the rest of the house. Will stay here again if we come back to the area.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location near downtown Carmel and the beaches. The house was clean with a spacious layout for our family. We will definitely be back!

Great home, beautiful backyard. Very clean. All was wonderful!! Really enjoyed the outdoor fire table. We had a 1 year old and really appreciated that owners had a safety gate for the stairs.

This property has everything you need for a small group get together in Carmel. Close to grocery store. Not really within walking distance to Carmel shops and restaurants but a very short drive. There is also a lovely park with good walking trails that is within walking distance.

What a spectacular property! The hot tub and fire pit were great as expected, but there were so many other thoughtful little touches around the house that we were just blown away. Thanks Marco for your help, we would definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect house for my family and pets, except stairs a bit of a challenge. Hot tub and fire pit was great. House very well equipped and my son enjoyed exercise bike and work out equipment in garage. Close to all shopping, beaches and restaurants. Good times!!

Very well-apportioned, modern and spacious home. Beautiful gardens. The first thing we noticed upon entering was the cleanliness. Good communication with owners.

although orientation of rooms (bedrooms downstairs, kitchen family room upstairs,) was odd, we enjoyed our stay.
