Condo was exactly as described and a perfect location. Literally a 5 min walk to the ski slopes and lifts. Great to be able to watch the slopes from the condo. We will definitely come back!

Condo was great! We came up from Greenville SC (about 2 hours away) to celebrate my husbands 32nd birthday. We ended up walking the trail to the slopes and tubing/iceskating all day and loved the convenience! Fair warning it's a hike back, but totally worth it! We loved being able to look out the windows and see the slopes and wave to our little one. The home was perfect for our group of 5 adults, two teens, and a baby. Lots of games, books, movies, etc to keep us all occupied. Great stay for sure and we'll be back!

This condo is cozy and comfortable. It has updated bathrooms and kitchen and is so conveniently close to the Sugar Mountain slopes!

Condo as described- however, technically slope side but not accessible to slopes without driving back to the resort. Would have loved a path to the slopes. Everything worked and no problems. FYI-Steps to upper loft are very steep.

We have never been to Sugar before, and wanted to be within walking distance of the slopes--the description was on-point! Easy 5-minute walk. Townhome was cozy and comfortable. Plenty of beds for all of us. Some of the items in the home could use some love and/or replacing--the recliner foot is broken but still comfortable, the master bed headboard squeaks loudly every time one of us turned over, the ladder to the loft could use another handrail, the backdoor knob is really loose, the kitchen is missing a couple of items that would have been nice when cooking family meals (some basic spices, a whisk, another baking sheet). Even with all that, we would happily rent this again next time!

Accessing the unit was easy and, even though you can't technically walk to the slopes (there is a deep creek between this unit and Sugar Mountain Resort) the unit is still convenient to everything. One pleasant surprise was that the back deck provided perfect visual access to the New Year's fireworks show! The unit was clean, there were plenty of places to sleep, and we LOVED the updated walk-in shower which provided a great way to recover after a full day on the slopes!

This property was wonderful. Plenty of room for our family, well stocked, comfortable furniture, great view of the lodge and base of slopes. We had a great vacation and would definitely go back.

Nice house. Clean. Pretty views. Good parking. Great for a family ski vacation. Convenient for skiing, if you drive to base, but not really a true ski in/ski out. The walking trail was very difficult to negotiate to the slopes.

This condo was everything advertised and then some. Three bedrooms (one king and two queens) with 2 twins in the loft and an extra twin in the large walkin master closet. You get the customary starter dishwasher liquid etc. Washer and dryer are in the downstairs hallway. Ample parking with no permit required. Great quiet neighborhood. The snow making machines started up at 5am and while that was startling and woke all of us up, you do get accustomed to the noise by day’s end. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend to other VRBO renters.

Spent a relaxing and fun weekend celebrating a family birthday in the mountains. All of the necessities to cook a meal. Plenty of room to play games, work a puzzle, and watch a movie. Conveniently located near Sorento’s for a nice evening out with outdoor dining and a fun trip to nearby Grandfather Mountain. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. We had a girls weekend to celebrate some birthdays. Grandfather Mountain winery was close by and I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed the stay. The condo was clean, comfortable and plenty of room for six adults. It had everything we needed for our stay. The view was fantastic. Just a short drive to Grandfather Mountain. Grocery shopping was close. Restaurants were just a short drive. We all enjoyed it.

My three sisters and I met at the condo on Friday and stayed two nights. It was the perfect accommodation for us at a great price. We would definitely recommend it!!
