La Señora a cargo fue muy amable, no tienen consigna de equipaje pero pude dejar las cosas en el jardín durante el día. Además se me quedó algo en la habitación y lo mando a otro hotel donde me hospedaría posteriormente.

Tuve que llegar en Uber.

Good sized room with microwave and kettle provided.

The bathroom was downstairs through the kitchen and I accidentally walked in on what I think was the owner using the toilet, as the door hadn't been shut properly. The property was functional but quite cluttered and I didn't feel comfortable to explore the kitchen and find the extra cutlery I needed as it very much felt like someone's home. I avoided the shower as that looked stressful.

Great value for money so I highly recommend this quiet room in one of the best area in Watford. Vicarage Road Stadium, it's only a stone's throw away. Tara is very kind and polite. Excellent check in instructions and big bottle of water as a gift.

La ubicación si vas a los estudios de Harry Potter es lo único bueno, aún así te tocará coger un taxi o andar, ya que los buses te dejan lejos.

Estaba todo sucio, realmente nos dió asco estar en la casa. En la habitación se puede ver cómo hay microondas, nevera y hervidor de agua, el cual os adjuntamos fotos para que veáis cómo lleva años sin limpiarse. Los boles y vasos que había tenían pelos y estaban muy sucios. El baño estaba sucio también, no pudiendo ni sentarte en la taza por no hablar que había más gente (creemos que los dueños que viven allí) y nunca tiraban de la cadena. Para ir al baño tienes que pasar por la cocina, dónde ver todo sucio, tirado por medio, el suelo y las encimeras llenas de cosas (botes de pastillas, mil plantas, un montón de cosas de vajilla sucias...), no os podéis hacer una idea. NADA QUE VER CON LAS FOTOS, TODO MUY SUCIO. De las camas ni hablamos... Seguimos con los muelles en la espalda.

Lovely big, clean room and access to shared parts of house. Efficient check in instructions made it easy. Well placed for all I needed. Comfortable bed Plenty of coffee and milk. With mini fridge and microwave in room.

Good convenient location. Very welcoming and friendly host. Safe on-street parking near the property. Comfortable bedroom with the added bonus of having a toaster, kettle and microwave. This meant I could make a ready meal from the comfort of my room (which was very welcome on the first night as I was exhausted after a long day attending a course for work).

The addition of a TV would have added to my comfort, but it wasn't essential and I did know that the room didn't have a TV when I booked. The shared bathroom downstairs was a little small but perfectly clean. The biggest negative was having to go downstairs and through the small shared kitchen in order to access the only toilet and the bathroom - so you had to be organised about this and carry everything downstairs with you (would suggest taking a travel bag). If the venue owner could stretch to installing an upstairs bathroom - or even a toilet and hand-basin, this would make the property a lot more comfortable for guests.

Pulizia da migliorare in generale! Anche le serrature delle stanze non bene.. Un giorno l’ospite della stanza accanto in piena notte è entrato in camera nostra credendo fosse la sua camera, facendoci rimettere uno spavento assurdo 😂

Matterss was very uncomfortable to sleep. One will get back pain if slept mire then few days. I recommend investing in a good mattress

A little uncomfortable using what is basically the home owners bathroom facilities but that was just me and probably not an issue for most.

The room was very cold in the night and the room heater was switched off and the blanket was thick enough for -3 degrees centigrade weather

Excellent location 1 min walk to the nearest bus stop and 13 mins to the Bushey overground station. Cosy bed, nice pillows and duvet. Large wardrobe, Mirror, Shelving. Microwave and even a fridge in the room which was extremely handy; also a toaster, kettle, mug/cutlery you may need. Was given a 5l bottle of water for drinking purposes and a little bottle of milk in the fridge for teas or coffees, which was lovely. There was a variety of herbal teas, normal tea bags and coffee sachets to pick from too. House was very quiet and on a quiet neighbourhood road. It felt like being in my room at home very calm atmosphere and felt safe. The host is very friendly and down to earth. I stayed for a few days for work and to see a friend. Extremely great value for money so I highly recommend.

Nothing; the only thing to know is if you are sensitive or allergic to pets, there is a gorgeous dog living at the property (although she stays in a downstairs room totally out of the way). I think I may have been set off slightly near towards the end of my stay, but I have a very sensitive nose - even to aerosols etc, which I did set myself off with on a few occasions😆. If this doesn’t affect you much it won’t be an issue, and with everything else said above I really enjoyed my stay at this place.

The bed! Everyone is different in their mattress preferences. But it was a spring mattress, (which I prefer to foam), and delightful soft and saggy. I sunk right down into it. I just wish I could have stayed there longer as I needed to be up early to travel into London for work. I wish I could have taken this mattress home with me and I would love to find out where she got it from. It might have just been old and well broken into, but the ikea spring mattress I bought just over a year ago is still not soft enough despite being “medium” as opposed to “firm”. The love lyph mattress felt like a trampoline. I was swallowed into it and was out like a light. Also the room was so cool, airy and quiet, so it was a very peaceful sleep, with no noise, light pollution or noisy neighbours. A real retreat. There were towels in the room and the shower/bathroom was great too. Although my trip was for a New Year’s music gig event in Watford, I’m a commuter to London where I work for my “day job”, and although it’s out of town, it would give me a break from the hostels/shared accommodation. So, i will consider staying here again when I’m doing my regular commuting.

It was a good 20-minute walk to the train station but that aspect is probably biased because the weather was awful, I’d definitely stay here again and the peace and solitude made the walk worth it!
