We spent five amazing days at Point of View for Christmas! It was picture perfect. The view is spectacular and there’s plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy the views. The house was all decorated for Christmas! So many special little details were left for us to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked, there are two refrigerators, two washers/dryers, great beds, a game room, and huge living area for TV, games, puzzles and opening gifts. Thank you for offering this amazing property in one of our favorite little towns. We will cherish the memories we made this week!

Everything went well with check in. House was very clean and also in a very nice neighborhood. Really enjoyed our visit. Will definitely stay again. Beautiful view and really nice on the inside.

This house was everything we had hoped it would be and more. It was the perfect fit for our family vacation. The kids room was so cute and the house was stocked with all sorts of age appropriate stuff it made it really easy for our kids to quickly get settled. We loved spending time out on the deck, soaking in the amazing sunrises every morning. The fire pit table was a huge bonus downstairs! The location of this property is perfect. It’s so close to Tweetsie, Grandfather Mountain, and downtown Blowing Rock and made for quick and easy exploring. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property!

The house is breathtaking, so beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty towels in bathrooms, everything was spotless We loved the porches the most, watched the sunrise everyday Will definitely be back!

This property had everything you could possibly ask for, and more. The views were beyond compare and the property itself was like something out of Better Homes and Gardens!

This house was everything we hoped it would be! Beautiful views, great space, roomy kitchen, plenty of room for our family of 10, and we could have fit more. We spent a lot of time on the back porch! Lauren was a great communicator and the house was well stocked. We already are making plans to return!

We have vacationed in the Blowing Rock area for 20+ years. This is a great house, with terrific views, and all the amenities. A small hiccup with cleaning before checkin-in revealed the responsiveness of the owner and I could not recommend this house more highly.

This was our second year at the property and it continues to be as advertised. Planning for year 3 now.

The house worked well for us. The views were beautiful and we loved being between Blowing Rock and Boone. We appreciated the quick response from the owner when we had minor needs.

This house is perfect for a large group. Plenty of bedrooms and baths. But what makes it perfect is the sunrises and beautiful views!

This place was amazing! Wonderful rustic feel while still having all the amenities you want in a rental. As the description says, the view is what makes this place so special!

This is the 20th year we have traveled with the same four couples, and over the years, we have become pretty picky when it comes to where we stay for a long weekend. This house lived up to the description and more! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like we were in someone's home, not a rental. The owners had thought of everything. The house is very clean and is furnished beautifully. It is also extremely comfortable and perfect for a large group. Everyone had a place to sit in the living room in front of the fire, we played tons of games at the huge kitchen table (perfect for dominoes!). and the kitchen itself was stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. The second fridge in the laundry room was a huge plus. The outdoor spaces were just as comfortable, and we loved the outdoor fire pit on the lower deck. It is the perfect spot for taking pictures at sunset. And the views! I have never seen such sweeping, expansive views. We also loved the location - perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing Rock. We definitely hope to come back next year and make this our annual house. It is perfect!

Awesome place to stay at for a fun mountain weekend. Owners were very responsive, check in process was super easy. We had kids with it and a couple families and it was the perfect place. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I, our two adult children and their spouses enjoyed a long weekend of bonding time in this wonderful house. It is a spacious 3-story home with amazing views and amenities that will spoil anyone! The house was spacious enough for every couple to have their privacy, but has a open concept on the main floor so no person feels left out. Each room in the house had a breath-taking view of the mountains! We especially enjoyed the lower lever covered porch with a rectangular gas fire pit which also had an impressive view at day and night. We have stayed at several houses in this same area and this home was by far the best yet! On arrival, we had some questions upon checking in. We contacted the owner, who was readily available, for instructions to answer our questions. We were given immediate feedback. Our time there was with no problems and very relaxing. Highly recommend this location!!

We had a great relaxing time. We enjoyed some ice skating, snow tubing at Hawks Nest and fun at Mystery Hill. So enjoyable

3rd year in a row we keep coming back. Amazing location and great communication with the Owners. The house is in great condition with multiple whirlpool baths, large and well stocked kitchen and tvs and entertainment for the family. Views can not be beat, proximity to Appalachian Ski, Boone and Blowing Rock.

We will be back! We had a wonderful time at this light filled, convenient home where we all slept so well.

Top notch house with spectacular views! Very close to Boone and Blowing Rock. We stayed for 5 nights and didn’t want to leave. We will book again in the future.

This is the second time at this house during Christmas and once again, it did not disappoint. This house is exactly as advertised. Spacious, clean, great kitchen, spectacular views. There is enough room for our family. Downstairs game room is great for grandchildren. We had snow and freezing temperatures while we were there. Lauren, the owner checked on us to make sure we okay. Great property, great host.

Had a wonderful time in this beautiful location. We loved the privacy & the gorgeous view of this home. We felt very comfortable there. The only things we had a problem with were the TV’s & the ice maker. Although we followed the TV instruction, we could never get the main TV’s to work. The ice maker was frozen up as if it needed a defrost. Otherwise, everthing else worked beautifully. Would highly recommend this location & destination.

This was the right size house and location for our family. All the amenities in the house was great. We loved the view.

Point of View is a Beautiful Home, and very well appointed with regards to it’s Spacious, well Decorated, Warm Interior. The Property Owner’s are Great to work with, and Respond quickly when communicating w/ them about anything ! We Hosted Our Family of 10 there the week of Thanksgiving, 2022 and it was Perfect for a family of our Size. The Den Area and Kitchen is extremely Large for a Big Family, the Deck’s (ie) Upper and Lower have the Best View in Blowing Rock, and the Bedrooms are Large. We could Not have been more Pleased with Our decision to Stay Here !!!

Great place, very convenient to downtown, spectacular views and the house was very spacious with lots of great amenities!

This house is beautiful and offers stunning mountain views (including sunrise) from every room and deck. With 3 floors, it’s spacious enough for 3 families and has 2 comfortable family rooms and a spacious kitchen. The house is also stocked with the best of paper products and shampoo, conditioner, and shower soap, which makes it so convenient. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood and close (<15 min) to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We throughly enjoyed our multiple family vacation and look forward to the next time we can enjoy this house with stunning views of the mountains!

This property is perfect for a family to come together for a vacation! The only downside was that we didn’t have more days! Next time we will book for the week… or more! Location location! We were central to everywhere we wanted to go during our stay. The view… OMG! AMAZING! Best porches ever! We could have sat out there all day! Also theee was a great yard that we could enjoy which is not always the case on the mountains. The last night we enjoyed the covered porch by the fire and listened to the Ghost Train that was right down the mountain. My 3 year old talks about it all the time! The house was well equipped. Everything we would ever think of was provided and more! This house accommodated 6 adults and 3 kids (3 and under) and was perfect and spacious for everyone’s schedule. It was like everything I thought of was already at the house! This makes vacation with kids a lot more relaxed knowing that the owners of the house truest care about their guests. I could write a book but needless to say… We will be back! Thanks so much!!

The view was spectacular. All of my sisters were very happy. The only issues we had but we work through that was some of the toilets kept running. In the downstairs bathroom the holder that held shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash had fallen before we got there and we clearned that up too. I did report it to Lauren.

Over all it is a great property.
