Beautiful house. Closing the back door was a problem. Some of the beds were uncomfortable but it may be because we’re used to our own beds. We had a great time!

Great home. Less than a 1 block walk to the lake. Host was a great.The home had everything you would nee.

The house was very clean, and we appreciated the location right by the paved, lakeside hiking trail. We walked our dog for a mile or two on the trail twice a day during our stay.
The house would have been 5 stars except for a few issues. The biggest one was the strong musty odor —maybe from a water issue under the sink. I was worried about what we were breathing in. If this had been a hotel, I would have insisted on another room. I would definitely go back if this was resolved, but pass otherwise.
There was no house information that we found at the home. We are used to a book or sheet or something. I found the Wi-Fi password on the back of the router. Also, the host did not communicate in advance about check in — I like to know this early since we did have one place where the host never did send any and we could not get in until late.
Pillows seem like a strange thing to comment on, but I don’t think anyone would use the pillows here. I didn’t have a ruler, but I’d say all six of the bed pillows were 12 inches thick. They were double the thickness of any bed pillows I had ever seen. We got throw pillows from the living room and put pillow cases on them.
The kitchen was reasonably well stocked, but there were only 3 forks. That wasn’t a problem with just the two of us, but…

Very homey feel. Close to lake. Kids loved the beach area. Quiet neighborhood.

We enjoyed having a house for our family get together. The house was clean and in a great area close to the lake

We love being close to the lakeside park and trail. Having easy access to that makes the steep back yard a non-issue with the doggo. House is nothing fancy and if you are a gourmet cook you may find the kitchen lacking in tools but for us it was all we needed.

We had a great stay in Guntersville in this lovely home! You can walk to the trail that goes around the lake. And the house is just a short drive into the quaint downtown area.

The house provided the basic amenities. The outside trash was full and infested with flies when we arrived but pick up happened within a couple of days. The property met our needs and we enjoyed our stay.

Good place to enjoy peace and tranquility! Beautiful Walking Trail around the Lake to view a variety of Trees planted to honor deceased love ones! Also, has a small Beach area!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Everything was just as described. The lake and activities are a short walk across the street.

Our stay was awesome! The beds and pillows were so comfy, I slept like a rock. The house was clean from top to bottom and was nicely decorated. We had a nice view of the lake and the entire process with Shane was seamless. We will definitely be back!

This place was just as advertised. Clean house with everything we needed. The only thing missing was a dishwasher, but we only stayed 2 nights and did no cooking at the house.

The owner was exceptional and very easy to work with. There could be more seating in the living room. Wonderful little back terrace that is perfect for morning coffee. And the walking trail is tight at the front door.

The lake view from the property was great! Access to everything in town was good also! The property owners called in the evening to make sure we made it safely to property.

House is cute. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! Owner was very responsive and nice. Could use a little more seating inside and outside but a great house to rent.

Fishing man
House overall was very good. We did experience a few bathroom faucet problems but handle very quickly by owner. Also rained most of the time we were there and roof developed a leak at the end of our stay. Owner will repair. If you plan fishing at the location you will need four wheel drive as the driveway is very steep. In discussion with owner he plans to make a half moon driveway next to street at bottom of property.
