I had a great time spent in a lovely home which was snuggled into the trees. Unfortunately, a few things happened, *but with quick resolutions from the property manager*. The pool was not heated, and unfortunately, after given instructions to fix it myself, I was unable to do so but received $250 for the inconvenience of not having the heated pool. My other concern was the number of cobwebs and spiders dangling from the light fixtures, ceiling, and, unfortunately, in the beds. A quick shake of the linen did the trick, but I would have appreciated more effort to prepare the house before our arrival. With consideration to the issues, we would still love to return again next year to enjoy the Michigan fall colors.

The entire group of nine had an absolutely wonderful vacation. Everything about the home is perfect from their wonderfully clean hot tub to all of the social rooms… We loved the multiple living rooms ! The kitchen was a perfect size and the lower level was great for movie watching. Even though the weather did not work in our favor, we were still able to enjoy the heated pool and hot tub. The hosts are great & the home is incredible

We really enjoyed our stay! There were 6 of us senior ladies. All went well with just a couple things we'd like to mention. One of the ladies fell going into the bathroom in the basement. The entrance has a raised tile and she scraped her toe up pretty bad and also fell on her knee into the bathroom. Shes really ok. Just that you might want to look into that. Also the tub near the 4 seasons room. The tub is pretty slippery. Just some thoughts for future seniors!

The house was beautiful and spacious with enough bathrooms for 8 women to get ready with no problems. The backyard was beautiful and super private. Perfect distance to walk to downtown. The only downside is that you can’t hardly make any noise in the backyard because the neighbors are waiting to complain right at 10pm. We had no music on and were just having a good time talking and laughing and we had complaints. So if you’re looking to have fun in the pool/hot tub, do it before 10!

I would not recommend this property. Unfortunately, the pool house was filthy and we were not able to use it. There were 12 bags of trash by the ping pong table and the hot tub was moldy and quite disgusting. It looked like it hadn’t been clean in quite some time. It’s a large space but the layout is quite odd and the property seemed clearly under construction with light fixtures missing in the basement as well. For the price it seemed dilapidated and not well maintained.

Beautiful inside and out. Large house we had 7 adults and two toddlers. Everyone had their own space. The pool hot tub and pool house were all wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

Plenty of space. Everything we needed. Pool was a big hit. Walk to downtown saugatuck was short.

Really nice house, well maintained. All of us enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location was perfect, walking distance from all the restaurants. The only caveat was the pool water was a bit cold The owner responded very quickly to help change temperature settings. Will recommend to stay here.

Absolutely beautiful property, fully stocked with towels and kitchen utensils. Our family loved the layout and spacious rooms!

A+ prime condition, ample space, comfortably decorated, very well maintained, gorgeous landscaping and a two block walk to dining and shops.

The location to town was wonderful and a quick walk. Owner was very easy to work with and always responded quickly. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. This kids had a great time.

We’ve stayed here a few times and I almost don’t want to leave a good review and risk not being able to book it again! The location is amazing. The house is spacious and comfortable and charming. The pool is a total winner. Our family loves coming here.

Great location and plenty of space. Pool area and hot tub added to our fun. Some of the space could have been cleaner (pool room fridge) and fire pit area.

Fun time with family and a few friends. The location is perfect for exploring Saugatuck. Loved the expansive living areas, pool, hot tub and patios. Communication with property owner and manager was excellent! Only drawback was the downstairs was a little underwhelming in comparison to the rest of the house with the open rafters and a little less air circulation than was preferred (purchased a fan to assist with that and had the broken dehumidifier replaced by property manager). Overall an most excellent place to stay!

My family just finished a wonderful vacation in Saugatuck. We all agreed that this lovely house definitely made it so special. It is gorgeous….we all want to live there! It’s very clean and the hosts provided everything we needed. There are cozy sitting areas everywhere. The bedrooms have king sized beds and are on 3 different levels, so there is absolute privacy. My grandkids loved the bunkbeds! Of course, the pool and hot tub were fantastic. Finally, the location is unbelievable. Downtown is only 2 blocks away! We are definitely coming back!

We loved our stay at Hoffman Hilltop. The property was beautiful and in a perfect location. It was in town yet still felt secluded. Very relaxing!

Location was perfect! Walking distance to town and had a view of the tree of lights by the water which was a nice surprise. Very peaceful. New appliances in the kitchen. Stocked with towels, games, kitchen needs etc. We all loved the heated porch! Plenty of space for everyone to have personal space. Heated floor in the master bath was a huge love! Would love to come back in the summer.

Best location in Saugatuck. Having the pool for the kids was a great plus. Plenty of living space to spread out. Bathroom locations, other than master which is fabulous, is not super convenient.
