Part investment, part vacation. Nice fenced yard, good space for group, large kitchen dining area

We enjoyed staying in this cute home while visiting the university. The home is in a very convenient location to nearby grocery stores and the university. The yard was perfect for our dog to run and play. We will definitely be back!

This home in a quiet neighborhood was perfectly located for our family visit. Large eat in kitchen, covered patio, and HEB Grocery is right around the corner. Will definitely stay here again when we visit family.

Great spot and perfect size for what we were needing

Everything was fine with the exception of the loud music behind the house. Which of course was out of the property's control. House was great was perfect for our needs. Will stay again.

This was a fantastic property and will rent it again in the future. The twin beds don’t have headboards as pictured, but not a big deal to us. We did have a little bit of a hard time watching TV, but again that wasn’t a big deal for us. We do think we left a hat and are trying to reach owner to find out. All in all, it was a great time and so nice to have such a comfortable place to come back to at night.

Easy to get in, great communication and great place to stay

Overall, this property is located centrally to a lot of things. It has a nice amount of space for a group of people. While the owner was very responsive to cleanliness issues of the grill,, there were several other areas that needed attention. We only used the master bedroom bed, and it was very comfortable.

The Sunflower house was a wonderful place to host my friends and to show them the charm of San Angelo! Melissa was very hospitable & kind on the phone to help me make the changes for a reservation! It is a very comfortable place and we enjoyed our visit there!

Everything was nice

My boys were also happy with the home mostly because the air conditioner was to there liking the neighborhood was calm not a lot of traffic through which was nice

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunflower House! Was a great location for meeting up with family in various parts of town; very convenient to everything we needed. Was nice to have a private home for our family versus cramming ourselves into a hotel room that would’ve cost the same or more. Definitely recommend!

Melissa and Paul are wonderful hosts and the Sunflower House is a clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay. We were working on an estate house and really enjoyed having the house to come back to in thee evenings.

Only issue was back door was unlocked when we got there - other than that everything was perfect it was a Great stay!! - Thank you!

Rented for a 4H shoot my son had. House was easy to get to. It was very clean and we were provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

This is the second time we've rented this property, we were hoping some of the issues would have been corrected but that wasn't the case. The floors are filthy. My kids were in that house for 20 mins without shoes on and their feet were black on the bottoms. The towels are old and stained, kitchen and bathroom towels alike. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the covers on them are plastic so every time you move they make loud noise. The bathtub mat had black stuff on it and was so old that you could feel the suction cups through the top of it. And last but not least my toddler found the open container of detergent pods underneath the kitchen sink, we are lucky we caught him before he put any in his mouth. We won't be renting this property again. It needs a serious deep clean !

Everyone enjoyed their stay. The house was very comfortable with more than enough space for our family and a few friends. Melissa is great to communicate with and is very accommodating. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Renters were very courteous and respind

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Sunflower House and we won’t hesitate to stay with Paul and Melissa here or at another of their properties in the future. Is this property exactly like home? Well, no. But Paul and Melissa do a great job in making the house comfortable and friendly. They responded quickly when we began to run out of bottled water and when I needed a few extra minutes to complete checkout due to a morning meeting. We couldn’t hope for a more pleasant experience.

She was able to accommodate us when we needed one more night at least minute. Great location, clean and has everything you need. Would definitely do it again.

Clean comfortable property with a gracious host!!!

The house was great for the price range. We stayed there as we where in town for the stock show and our family really preferred it over a hotel but there was some short comings of the property. They only had one full bathroom which had the only shower in the middle of the house. The master is really not a master bathroom. It’s more of a powder room. The toilet was so small it really is made for someone my kids size. A fully grown adult will have a tight squeeze. I believe they chose it because the space between the door and toilet doesn’t allow for a regular size toilet in the room. The beds are not that comfy but it served it’s purpose for the two nights we where in town. If we weren’t such a tight knit family you will need to be orderly and proficient taking turns in the showers with some in the evening before bed and some in the morning. It’s a good place if you are a small family needing a quick weekend house. We did take advantage of the grill which allowed us to cook a nice meal. The laundry room is outside and if your in great outdoor weather not bad but getting to it in a cold night or morning not good. Like I said great for a small family and all in all it served our family ok just not great. The property manager was very responsive so that was a tremendous relief and huge plus. I will always take good service over the deficiency I speak of in my review.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sunflower House - it served what we needed well. Nice back yard and lots of perks like patio trash and wooden cooler. Great to have laundry access and a working dishwasher! I give this property a 4 out of 5 stars only because the kitchen needs a full inventory overhaul from rusted can opener, no sharp cutting knife, no potato masher, more than 4 pots and pans (1 with no handles - broken), etc. One other thing, was there was a ton of stickers in the front yard (back yard too but front was worst), this required sweeping and vacuuming the floors everyday. Otherwise this is a great rental -thank you for letting us stay in your home!

The property was a good size for what we needed and was comfortable for our family. It was about 12-15 minutes from the base which was nice for the back and forth. We would definitely stay again
