Recommend if you want a quiet place not close to the usual Vancouver sites. It is close to route 1 to travel over to north shore mountains for those wishing to spend time in the great outdoors, as well as to Burnaby Mountain hiking.

We really enjoyed this great accommodation! It's clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. There are many ways to get to downtown by public transportation. Or just take an Uber. In addition, there are good shopping possibilities in the area (10 minutes walk). Great communication with Dusan.

We decided to stay in Vancouver a few extra days after our Alaskan cruise. This VRBO was clean and just what 4 adults needed. It's not downtown, but we used UBER to get to all of our destinations, and that was smooth. Having coffee and laundry detergent was a big bonus, plus the home was clean, has a nice little patio, and the owner was prompt in replying to any of our questions.

Pristine rental in quiet neighborhood. Didn't see AC upstairs, but we didn't need it during our stay.

Dusan made the experience wonderful! He is incredibly great with his communication and is incredibly helpful. After we checked in he sent a message making sure we checked in okay. He is clear with check in and check out procedures. The house is so cute and really well taken care of. It was incredibly clean as well. The beds are very comfortable and has high end bedding. Street parking is available and we never had difficulty finding parking. Its close by to a lot and easy to hop on the highway. Thanks for the amazing experience Dusan! We will definitely be back!

The owner/host was Very helpful and accommodating in getting us settled and familiar with the accommodation and neighborhood. Anything we asked, he was on it immediately. We will be back next year.

Lovely base for our family exploring Vancouver and going for ski lessons at local mountain 30min drive away. Comfortable beds, clean, quiet at night and everything we needed. Would stay again with no hesitation.

We really enjoyed this property. It was a comfortable and clean setting for our young family with great proximity to downtown and the north shore (which is where we needed to get to). The owner was an excellent communicator. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.

We stayed here for four nights before leaving for the U.K. it’s a great house for friends and families looking to explore the city and surrounding areas. Hastings Sunrise itself is a leafy area with a few places to eat and shop. However, certain days of the week only a handful of restaurants are open. The house owner Duke was excellent from start to finish. Any questions asked to him, he’d reply promptly. Thanks for everything Duke, we’ll certainly return.

Great place, with good transport connections if a little far from the centre of Vancouver. Any questions or requests we had were answered immediately. Had a good time there and would book again.

We enjoyed our stay at Duke's property. The beds were comfortable, the appliances and wifi worked well, the space was inviting. We stayed at a variety of properties on our 2 day trip, and it was so nice to have a full size refrigerator and a microwave and a washer/dryer on premises, with all of it working well. You can't get that at Yellowstone, Glacier, and the Prince of Wales Hotel. The four of us enjoyed relaxing in the living room and at the table outside on the patio. The weather was quite warm when we visited, and the downstairs AC was quite strong. It was a pleasure working with Duke throughout, as he was always immediately responsive on email and made sure we were satisfied. The only thing that could have been better was the check in experience. There are two houses on the property, and we had a hard time figuring out which one was for us, as the house number was only visible from the alley on the side of the property, not from the main street. I recommend that you temporarily park on the side alley to unload if you have a lot of bags, and to be sure afterward to park on the street away from the houses so as not to risk getting a ticket.

Location made it easy to take day trips around greater Vancouver area. Thankful for the fans privided for upstairs bedrooms as it was unusually hot during the day and no ac up there. Owner communicated well and easy to work with.

The family and I had a great stay at the place. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked for a rental (in terms of pots, pans, utensils, etc.). The beds were comfortable and everything was nice and clean.

We had a wonderful stay at your property. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults.

We stayed for a week. Everything as advertised and more. Dusan was a joy to deal with and even arranged to have some groceries for us at the last minute as our flight was delayed. Parking on street however we found a spot right at the laneway that seemed to be available to us each time we arrived at the house. Quiet neighborhood and no more then 15-25 minutes from all the sights. Highly recommended. Dave B.

The 4=star rating for cleanliness is only because there was a little mix- up regarding our arrival time before the cleaner came and our host was kind enough months ago to have given us permission to check in early. Lovely, clean, comfortable space- appreciated temperature control in every room! Made our first trip to Vancouver extra special. Hope we sorted the garbage correctly!
