The rooms were spacious booked a family room had one double and one single. Was on ground floor first room as you enter building. The a/c was nice and cool it was on a fixed temp as no remote. TV was good with reception. Outside plenty of shops and restaurants. Dera and Gourmet and supermarket/bakery, fast food and other shops along the way. Rickshaws always available across the road. The big malls like ammana mall just a few minutes ride.

The only problem was that the toilet was the flat hole in ground the other rooms upstairs had the siting version but they were double rooms staff said we could change rooms and they will give us extra mattress but we liked the location of first room others had to go past reception.

Facility wise it was good. And staff is cooperative.

My booking was for 2800 total charges but the owner/ branch manager i was in contact with asked me to pay 3200 by telling some extra taxes and charges for no reason.

The environment around decent palace hotel was very good.

Upon reaching the hotel at 1240, I was told that since "expected check-in" was between 1500-1600 so the room I had booked wasn't ready and we're transferred to a nearby "decent palace hotel" and were given another room. Also, I thought the total charges would be 5700 but they were 6400 which wasn't mentioned in the email, it was a bit confusing.
