Great stay on a quiet stretch of beach

Our extended family enjoyed our stay in this kid friendly beach house. Lots of toys and beach gear.

We loved staying on Dauphin Island. The house was large enough to accommodate 11 of us. The kitchen was stocked with all the items we needed for the week. The storage under the house was a bonus with beach items that we could use. We will look forward to returning.

It was first time ever to Dauphin Island and we will definitely be back. This is a place where you can truly relax and we felt like we were at home on the farm with how quiet it was, but then we stepped on the deck and there was the beach. Love that it isn’t commercialized!

Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! Only thing that could have made it better, would have been nice to have a gas grille.

The location of the beach house was perfect for us! We absolutely love the beach, but thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit on the porch and feeling like we were on the beach. The house was incredibly spacious and fit our large family of 9 and 2 dogs with room to spare. We also loved how well stocked the kitchen is because we cook a lot as a family. We will be back!

The house was absolutely perfect. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for all and plenty of chairs to sit inside and out. There were toys and games inside and out for the kids. They thought of everything!

Close to the ocean! Walk down to the waves! Beautiful decor…kitchen was well equipped…Hostess was quick to respond…HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Perfect space for the 7 of us with beds to spare. Loved the proximity to the beach and great view off the deck. The rest of our family was staying a few minutes drive down the beach and there was plenty of room for us to gather a couple nights for dinner. We all loved it!!

This was our first visit to Dauphin Island and we loved this beach house! We absolutely loved how close we were to the beach- it made running back and forth very convenient and easy! The beach was never crowded whatsoever and we set up right in front of the house each day. As other reviews have said, the kitchen is VERY well stocked! Because there is not a grocery store on the island, we brought all of our food and this kitchen was wonderful for all of the cooking we did! There were 9 of us in the house and we had plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! Another “extra” that I looooved was the water hose on the back deck! It was so nice to be able to wash off all of the sand before stepping inside. We had a wonderful week here and feel it passed by waaaaaay too quickly! We hated to leave and definitely hope to return again soon!

The location of this house was fantastic, and it has a very comfortable layout. The owner was very responsive through booking and our stay. Our only complaint is that the house was not as clean as we would expect having paid a professional cleaning fee when booking this property. This wouldn't have been such a big complaint except the closest (reasonably priced) store is not close. We also apparently missed the fine print that said essentials such as trash bags and toilet paper are not included with this property.

Overall, it was nice. The weather did not cooperate, but that happens-unfortunately, that limited the beach time. The electrical transformer outside the rental popped and we were w/o power for about 6 hours. The cargo lift was awesome for all of our stuff. The main road floods right by our side street but we were able to get by. DI was a nice place to visit.

We had an amazing stay at this property. We traveled with two small kids and this property had plenty of toys and kid friendly kitchenware. The gated deck was a huge help for not only our kids, but dogs too! The walk down to the water was so convenient and the views from the deck were amazing! We loved this house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach Blessed. The home was beautiful, close to the water, had all the amenities needed and more. We’ve stayed on Dauphin Island many times in the past and this was the most fully equipped kitchen we’ve ever encountered. There was more than enough room for our family of 10. Our family very much enjoyed the close proximity to icecream shops and golf. We loved being at the beach until sunset and early morning walks on the beach. The property does have a supply/grocery lift, which was out of commission while we were there, but we managed just fine with the sets of stairs and ease of beach supplies in the closet under the house. Thank you again for allowing our family to stay in such a lovely home. We were truly blessed.

This property was very clean and had everything you needed for the kitchen and the beach! It has a great view. Very easy booking and check-in process. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time with our Family. 9 of us including our 10 month old Granddaughter. Location was good and property was very well maintained.

Great weather, so we were able to walk on the beach, lay out on the deck, read, watch TV. and eat! No mention of there being a Keurig which would have been nice to know.

House worked well for our family gathering. Host was very responsive. Dauphin Island is a great location with quiet beaches and trails for hiking and bird watching.

Beautiful home, very comfortable and roomy. We had everything we needed. If we come back to the island we will definitely try to book Beach Blessed again.

The property was in a great location. The house had plenty of room for us! The kitchen is stocked well! It also has a pantry which I was so excited about so our snacks didn’t have to sit on the counters. The owner is amazing to communicate with! The only downside was the cleaning service before we arrived. It was the bare minimum. Sand still on the floor from previous guests. The house is pet friendly but there was so much dog hair covering all the furniture, all over the rugs & the all over the back porch. I had to get the vacuum out to vacuum off the couches because it was so bad. I know 3 of us kept getting dog hairs in our mouth. We don’t have indoor pets but we could build our own with all the dog hair lol I told my concerns to owner. She was super proactive in getting it cleaned for us. If cleaning was better (which it happens) I would 100% stay here again! It also has storage under house with boogie boards, beach chairs, toys, wagon, etc! Loved that!

Needed a house large enough for 8-10 of us. This house was perfect. I was looking for something on the water where the kids could swim and play in the sand. Will definitely check on availability if this property in the future. The mattresses were a bit hard for my group, but other than that. Great experience!!

Perfect beach stay- had everything

We loved our stay in this beautifully presented home in Port Lincoln. It had everything we needed and more, and is situated in a great location near the marina and it's hotel where you can dine as you watch the fishing fleet come and go. The attention to detail and welcoming touches left for our arrival went above and beyond any expectation. Thank you Michelle, we highly recommend!

Home is clean, cozy, and well stocked. There are plenty of seating surfaces in the great room, which is not always the case. Sometimes you get just 1 couch and 1 loveseat. Beds are comfortable as well. The view and proximity to the ocean is wonderful! We were somewhat worried that the view might feel a bit obstructed by the two flanking houses but, no, the view is very expansive. Plus, sitting back from the shoreline a little bit is a good thing when the weather is at all bad. You don't have to worry about your car the same way you do when you are closer. We know this from experience from last year at DI. We had to move our car back during a storm because the waves were coming up so far under the house. Even during this stay, the water came up slightly under the 2 flanking houses, but not Beach Blessed. This home offers the best of both worlds - close, but not TOO close. We slept much better... The host is delightful and extremely responsive. We rent VRBO homes fairly often and she is truly among the very best. The refrigerator was acting up one day and a repairman was there the next day. Impressive! We love this home so much that we have already locked in our stay for next year. If you are considering this house, you truly cannot go wrong!

This was our second stay at this house and in all of our traveling we usually only hit a house up once and visit other areas of the country. We loved this house that we had to come back for a second time and there will be a third and more. Everything in the house is perfect, the location is wonderful and Teresa allows you to feel like it’s your own home away from home.

This beautiful home is well appointed with all the amenities of home! The fully stocked kitchen was a blessing. The views of the beach and water were stunning!! The outdoor areas were a comfortable place to relax. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

We picked this rental for a Christmas getaway for my family. This house was perfect for the 3 generations. The house was great and exactly as represented. Would highly recommend.
