It’s in a perfect location for the town and within easy access of Pukaki and Aoraki. The room was cosy, with everything you’d need for a couple of nights stay. Plus it has a wonderful little garden, with private seating areas.

Nothing fancy but super clean and efficient. Perfectly comfortable. Looks as though it was recently refurbished. Happy we made the choice to stay there.

A spacious, comfortable and modern room that felt nice and private. Everything was clean, tidy and there's a handy folder with recommendations of local walks / things to do. It's a good location, an easy walk to various bars / restaurants and parking was simple. There's a small car park (accommodating around 3 cars) for the hotel but you're down a quiet side street so there's plenty of roadside parking also.

We found that quite a lot of noise travelled between rooms, especially from upstairs (if you're in a ground floor room). It's hit and miss depending on how noisy your neighbours are; we had the misfortune of being next door and beneath two very loud families, which was quite disruptive. We're not particularly light sleepers, but it was a lot even for us, so I'd just be aware if you are sensitive to noise.

Nice comfy bed, cool little one room. Warm shower and quiet place for good sleep. Warm even during freezing winter night. Easy to find, check-in and park own car

The unit was nice and warm for us after a Mount Cook hike, the facilities within were compact yet had everything we needed.

The bath mat towel in our room had a visible stain on it - perhaps time to retire the piece.

Could have had some basic cutlery items for breakfast I.e. toaster, knife, cereal bowl and even microwave.

Only one thing and it's not that we didn't like it was the no cutlery or plates but there were drinking cups ,wine glasses and tea and coffee available. Now we know this it would not be a problem in the future

It was a lovely comfy bed.

There are no cooking/eating facilities in the room. That said, I asked for a couple of cereal bowls and spoons and they were only too happy to help.

A lovely large room and big ensuite, super comfy bed, and although simple, very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed. The location was quiet and tucked away but central, within a couple of minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. We were able to park right outside our room, the host was friendly and helpful, and it was excellent value for money.
