The room itself was comfortable. It had all that I needed and was clean. I liked that the main window to the room had shutters that could block out completely all that was outside.

I couldn't turn on the bathroom light without the loud exhaust fan being turned on.

Room had odd smell. Air conditioning worked but made noise. Towels and linen was not replaced during stay of 3 nights. Pool water was verging on being green, not fit to swim in.

We did not stay, and asked for our money back then told sorry you need to phone customer service.

The swimming pool had green water inside. Rooms were run down and required reimbursement. I'm still waiting for my money to be returned.

The other cliental were very undesirable, the sheets, bedhead etc were stained, even the "fresh linen" was . To put it bluntly it was a hooker hotel

It’s filthy dirty. Bed bugs bite my all night. $125 for a room, it’s worth $75 a night

Had to come back to book in as noone in office, waited opened door several times, no one came. Room has had no maintenance since I stayed 10 years ago, pool green, air con falling apart, vomit stains on floor, mini fridge all dented and looked kicked in. Wont stay again

staff not friendly no continental breakfast as advertised premises need upgrading exhaust fan broken lights broken door broken windows shuttered up like it was an unsafe place used by tradies mostly

Having worked in motel's previously I thought it was below average in cleanliness. Seems the wife dose it herself and with another woman. That is my only issue. Otherwise it I consider is best place in town if on budget and close to kfc. Hungry jacks etc

Large room, comfy bed, parking at door, big pool, walk across the road to Bennys restaurant at Kidman wayside inn, food is great, we had lamb rack and the steak.

Absolutely terrible! Arrived at 5pm on a 40 degree day, exhausted after a long trip, to a locked office door and no sign or advice on what to do, called the motel number three times before it was answered by a very rude man (and hard to understand) who told me I'd have to wait ten minutes for his wife to unlock the door. Waited over 30 minutes before a car pulled up and a group of people got out all with beers in there hand, one motioned that he was going around to unlock the door. Once I went inside he said everytime he goes out he get a call that someone wants to check in and he has to come back, like it was a massive inconvenience that we were there, he was horribly rude!! So we go in the room which was stifling hot and smelly, straight to the air conditioner, and old, dirty, noisy window rattler which took ten minutes to work out as the switch to activate it was on a different wall with no signage it took hours and hours to actually cool the room enough that it was barely comfortable , the room was dirty and smelly, the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacummed or cleaned in awhile, cobwebs in the room, there was food/drink in the fridge from the previous occupant, the shower, basin and mirror in the bathroom was dirty and there was hairs everywhere, very very small room the third bed was like a camp bed that was stuffed in there and very uncomfortable, The rooms are very old and outdated and outside the room, despite ashtrays around there are cigarette butts all over the ground and carpark. The pool had a film of muck on it and looked extremely dirty we weren't game enough to go for a swim to cool off. We were given four little bottles of fresh milk, exp was in 6 days however it was sour and off. The group that turned up stayed for over an hour, drinking under the carport across from our room and were very loud and shouting.

Pool was green couldn’t swim in it kettle was black inside with mould and the glasses in the fridge has flys in them (glasses were labeled “clean glass “) it was in a paper bag with that written on it

It was central to where we needed to go to in Griffith.

We were given unit 1 which was at the front of the complex. As a result there was a lot of traffic noise during the day-not so bad at night. The window & door of the unit faces onto a dark, narrow alley and the door and rear brick wall of the cleaners’ storage building. When the cleaners are working, the only view is of the interior of the cleaners’ storage. There is no window looking out onto the front garden & street, resulting in little natural light inside the unit. There is a shutter on the outside of the alley window making the room very dark. I had to ask for it to be lifted open by staff as the mechanism was broken. The bathroom needed serious maintenance: broken shower door, broken towel rack, very strong smell of sewage coming from bathroom floor vent. The carpets were vacuumed but in need of a good deep clean. All in all a place to sleep with the smelly bathroom door closed-but little else. The staff were helpful with requests but seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of maintenance to be done. The other units all appeared to have a better view of the complex. We were definitely given the dud unit.

Citrus motel is very old. I'm 48 and I can remember it being there when I was a kid. Rooms need updating. The rooms have blockout shutters which block out 100% of light. Air con needs updating. Will stay again.

Rooms could be cleaner. Update bathrooms.
