Great trip - house is great to accommodate multiple families.

We loved this home for our family!

We had an excellent stay at the property for a bundled-up cousins wkd. Between three families we used every inch of the house. We enjoyed the porches and the amazing view as well.

We loved staying at this cabin. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. Game room downstairs was fantastic! Views were beautiful and the location was close to ski hills. My family had a wonderful time and would rent this location again. Checking in and out was very easy.

We enjoyed relaxing at this well equipped and well located house with great views of nearby mountains. Cool weather and good breezes in July; quick access to nearby amenities in Banner Elk & Boone.

Great house! Plenty of room! Very well stocked kitchen!

We booked the house many months in advance but were notified the day before our trip that the home was damaged by a falling tree. While Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was apologetic, they did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. We understand the damage was unexpected and an act of God, but they didn't offer any other house for that weekend, offer to reschedule for another time, or give us any additional refund to cover the cost of our other non-refundable expenses, like ski tickets. It took 7 full days to even get the refund. Being that this was during peak season, there were no other options for places to stay in the area, certainly not for the price we paid by booking in advance. When I reached out to see if they could help us with another accommodation for an alternate weekend, we got no response. So we ended up with a cancelled trip and several very disappointed children. Marked 3 stars because it wouldn't allow a review without it. Can't actually rate a place we never stayed.

Great weekend with perfect weather! The house was perfect for the variety of age ranges. The view was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and there was good room for eating. The only suggestion we have to make this home better, is to possibly consider adding mattress toppers to the beds for added comfort (especially the downstairs beds).

We came up here with another family to celebrate my son‘s birthday. The property was perfect! It was clean, had more than enough amenities, and was a beautiful location! Well stocked and cared for. Wonderful place!

Plenty of room and a great location convenient to Sugar Mountain

Great time, even better waking up to a snow covered ground one morning. Enjoyed the warm wood fireplace in the den area over looking the mountains.

This house was exactly as advertised, great view, spacious, well stocked and clean. We really enjoyed visiting the nearby Grandfather Winery and would definitely come back.

This property has everything you would for a vacation home from board games, Fuzball, Dvd Movies for all Ages. the bathrooms are spacious and the hot water comes on quick, however the bunk bed in the basement are very uncomfortable the mattress needs to be changed. the basement is very spacious but it does not have shades to I felt like the bogyman was watching me sleep. the property owner should invest on installing deck cover for the bottom floor so you can enjoy the bottom deck when its raining. The Drive to the cabin was very interesting its a steep one way street. the top deck over looks grandfather mountain and minutes from all ski resorts and 10 miles to Boone. the property is someone dark when going to the front of the cabin but it has spot lights, bring a flashlight for more lighting.

We so enjoyed our stay and the whole experience was very stress free! Shopping, hot tub, and other awesome experiences. Home was clean and inviting!!!! It had everything you could possibly need. Loved the WELCOME decor on the fireplace!!! Thanks again for the great relaxing stay. It was so overdue!!!!!! The Lanes

We booked A Big View for our 50th anniversary with our children and grandchildren ages 16 to 4 months. The 3 levels of the very well furnished and equipped home gave every family their own space. The sawdust shuffleboard was a hit, as was the hot tub. The management agency was great to work with. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do. The level entry from the driveway was great. The house is very private, with no others right next to it.

The views are spectacular and the house is extremely well appointed. Beautifully maintained! Our group of 12 really enjoyed the trifecta celebration of a birthday, App State graduation and Mother's Day. This property is on our permanent list of destinations when returning to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Nice property, cozy (not in a small way), pretty much stocked with plenty of the things you don't want to bring with you. Great location to lots of the area attractions. And, of course, A BIG VIEW!

We all had a great time staying at the Big View! There was so much room so that we all could spead out if needed and had enough room for all of us to be together! We are really considering staying her again sometime in the future!

The cabin we perfect for our group of 10. The views are amazing all the way around. The kitchen and bathrooms were very adequately stocked. We took a short drive to Blowing Rock one day and went skiing at Sugar Mountain the other. It was in a perfect location. We would love to rent again in the future!

A Big View was an amazing house for a vacation. The house was stocked with everything one could need and the space allowed for 9 people to fit in it very comfortably (even with 4 teenagers!). The kitchen was perfect and the game room and hot tub were key. Plenty of bathrooms too and the washer/dryer worked beautifully. Very clean. Located well to enjoy many outdoor activities. My only suggestion would be new beds in the Master and the two downstairs bedrooms, but otherwise perfect!
