This home was amazing! So clean and comfortable. Tammy went out of her way to make sure we had the best stay. Far enough from the city to see stars I’ve never seen before yet close enough that you didn’t have to travel far for adventure. This is definitely a return vacation home for us!! A wonderful to place to stay! We met for a girls weekend and really enjoyed our time at the Red Door Lakeside. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything we needed was provided and Tammy was so helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to have your loved one's birthday party! Main level is just the right size. The decks are icing on the cake. Tammy took very good care of us too! We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Door Lakeside. Tammy was an amazing hostess and answered any questions we had in minutes, even when we locked ourselves out!
The home was impeccably decorated. The beds so comfy. And we loved the decks! My daughter enjoyed the nook so much.
The home is even better than it looks online. If you want to stay in the area, this is the place to choose!

Rental experience was easy as well as check in. Had a wonderful time. House was very clean. Exactly as advertised host was excellent.

We were thrilled with this property. 3 levels. All very clean and well decorated. We had everything we could need. The downstairs bonus room with the games and extra bedrooms was the best place to hang out and enjoy some fun with all my friends. We loved the sleeping porch so much! So much a great space. Overall Tammy was an amazing host and was very accessible during our stay. 10/10 would recommend staying here again.

The place is a little slice of heaven! It is fully stocked with everything you could need. Beautifully decorated and Tammy has thought of all the details. 4 college friends looking for rest and relaxation and we hardly left the house, didn’t want to! Had to call Tammy to change out a gas tank for the fire table and she was there in 10 minutes-an amazing host. If you want a place that is perfect-stay at the Red Door!

This was hands down the best vacation stay ever. The house felt like a warm hug that just welcomed us all. Tammy was a delight to work with and her design flare had us all wishing we could take her home with us. We all said we want her to come decorate our house. I highly encourage you to plan your next adventure at the Little Red Door. I just hope it’s available the next time I need to unwind on that amazing sleeping porch!🥰

Perfection is the only word to describe the Red Door Lakeside. It was amazing and we did not want to leave. Tammy was incredibly thoughtful and a pleasure. We were already discussing when we would come back, buying our own lakefront property and seeing if Tammy would decorate for us. It was FANTASTIC. Do not hesitate to rent for your vacation.

Wonderful weekend. Tammy was a fabulous host. She was so responsive and accommodating. She has created a relaxing and comfortable retreat. The home is beautiful inside and out with everything you need. Check in and out was so easy. We will definitely be back!

The minute you walk through the door you notice extra care given in every detail. Everything says “welcome and relax.”. Communication with host was the best we’ve ever experienced. Special little touches like a welcome bag with cookies from a local bakery or items in the pantry gives you the feeling your host is happy to have you.
I’d recommend to anyone in area to explore especially Mammoth Cave.

The Red Door is the perfect place to host a large gathering! The house is designed for entertaining with a large, open kitchen and multiple gathering places both indoor and outdoor. The house was very clean and Tammy is super helpful and responsive. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stay at the Red Door!

We were at the Lake for my oldest brothers birthday and 80 member family reunion. What a wonderful time we had. The Red Door Lakeside had everything we needed to feel at home, plus a beautiful view. The location was perfect, close to where all of our activities were happening. The hosts were the BEST, Thank you for welcoming us Tammy! Can't wait to plan our next trip.

Clean and comfy
We appreciated the spotless clean house and it’s amenities. The kids loved the toys and we all played board games. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that had everything we needed and the bed sheets felt like butter!

Incredible family vacation
This lake house is incredible! The pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful lake views, impeccably decorated, and the cleanest rental house we’ve ever stayed in. Tammy is fabulous to work with and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. We have already booked The Red Door Lakeside again!

Girls trip!
Boating, relaxation and fellowship! This property was perfect for all of the above. We enjoyed the porches, the bedding was amazing, there were plenty of bathrooms for six women, the attention to detail and personalization was perfect. It was like we were at home! We will definitely be back!
Thanks to Tammie for her hospitality. She is the perfect host. We head a slight hiccup with the gas grill and she and her husband immediately responded and took care of it! It was awesome.

I just can’t say enough good things! This property is beautiful. The house, the view, it was all incredible. The house is spotless and you have everything that you need for a wonderful stay. Tammy was great to work with and so kind. We will definitely be back!

Nice new farmhouse with a great view
Very clean, modern and like new farmhouse. No pack and play, but a high chair. There is no direct water access, but the park is 5 min away with a boat dock and beach. Family had a great time and the owner was very helpful.

Red Door Lakeside
When we pulled up to the property, the exterior of the house looked exactly the way I expected from the pictures—we recognized the red door right away!! I loved all of the extra touches that really made the Red Door Lakeside feel like a home away from home. The house was incredibly clean & the beds were all AMAZINGLY comfortable. Our four year old was well entertained by all of the amenities in the game nook & I enjoyed the books!! The host checked on us several times to see if we needed anything & provided some great recommendations for activities. If our family makes it back to the area again, we would definitely stay there again.

The sweetest stay!
This weekend was wonderful! Tammy and Keith's home is just beautiful, it is clean, equipped with all your needs and all with a beautiful view of Barren. Tammy coordinated a gift for us with our "retirees" retirement agents from Argi which was such a sweet surprise and so nice! And we cannot forget to mention the sheets! We have teased for years that one of our "retirees" is a sheet snob and before we left the cabin she had ordered a set of the Mellani sheets online! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us for a fun, snowy and cold weekend!

Awesome husband surprise birthday trip!!
There are no words to express how satisfied we are with Tammy!!! From the booking process through the end of the trip she was there for us. Her hospitality, her kindness made our trip the best. I rented her property to surprised my husband for his birthday and it turned out wonderful!!!😊😊😊😍😍😍. Tammy was so helpful giving ideas like places to go, eat she even hung up a birthday banner for him!!!!! She ordered a cake and ballon for him!!! The house omg!!! Beautiful decorated, super clean. The view is awesome. You feel soooo relaxing that you don’t want to go back home. Sad we did had to. Everything is beautiful decorated that and soo perfect that you feel you are in paradise!!! I can’t forget the morning view and sunset . You definitely will love to book this place !!! You won’t regret it 😉

Great Experience
My wife and I met some old friends for a weekend trip and had a great time! The owner was very easy to work with and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about the actual home. We were snowed in one of the days, and still had a great time catching up and playing board games in the game room area. If you're looking for a nice home in the area, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Wonderful Family Trip
The house is absolutely beautiful, and Tammy was a fantastic host! The Christmas decor was a very nice touch, and the kids, parents, and grandparents in my group were all very comfortable during our stay. Everything was extremely clean. My kids especially enjoyed all of the games, books, and toys provided. We would not hesitate to book again, and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Family thanksgiving get together
I can not say enough wonderful things about this property and especially the host. We felt welcome from the time we opened the door. The host checked on us several times. The house was everything it promised and was the cleanest property we’ve stayed in ( and we have stayed in several)! We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our early family thanksgiving a wonderful experience!

Pure perfection
This house is impeccable. The decor is beautiful, kitchen and games stocked and so, so clean. The beds and pillows were so comfy. This property is seriously perfect and we didn’t want to leave. Tammy was a perfect hostess, quick to respond and offered excellent recommendations. This was a fabulous choice for a relaxing girls weekend.

Perfection!
Our jaws dropped when we opened that red door. We loved everything about this cute house. The hostess had even decorated the house for the fall season. It just felt like home only better. The furnishings were beautiful, but more importantly comfortable. The outside porches were just as beautiful. We enjoyed the fire table that was perfect in the fall weather. We also took advantage of the books that were available for reading. Tammy you should give lessons on providing guests with the perfect experience. You’ve got it down girl!!!

The most adorable lakeside farmhouse
This home is gorgeous.. the decor, the views, and it is immaculately kept. It’s hard to leave the comfort of home when traveling, but this vacation rental is truly a home away from home. One could never get homesick while staying here. Will definitely be back!

Tammy was so nice and helpful with everything. We really loved staying here, the place was very very clean (and I have high standards). The entire house was beautiful, and the view from the master suite picture perfect! Great outside spaces as well-nigh! High quality kitchen pots/pans/tools. Our family can't wait to go back again. Thank you Tammy for going above and beyond on your hostess duties!
