It was better then even pictured. Many extra touches throughout. A welcome sign for Debbie & her family. Clean and well stocked. Five sleeping areas, 4 bathrooms, 2 living areas, fire pit, hot tub, and swimming area.
Mini plastic bins with things we may have forgotten in each bath. Yes, I forgot my toothbrush. First aid kit. Game area. Stocked firewood, towels for hot tub. As a family we went golfing 2-3 times, went on a ski lift for a view,down a long slide down a mountain, Go carts, zip lines, bungy jumping, swimming on the beach and on the property, enjoyed the fire pit, fishing, hot tub and back porch. This was the best time yet.

The property was Beautiful, we Love Log Cabins. Your amenities were awesome. We Loved the Great Room. Everything was very accessible. The views of the Lake are Magnificent. Our overall stay was very nice. The location feels very remote, quiet, and restful. If you’re looking for a lot of local excitement, this is probably not the spot for you. ;) We visited a few local attractions which were all a comfortable distance but spent most of the week reading and playing games. The hosts were responsive when necessary and very friendly.

Everything was perfect. If you forget to bring a staple, this house already has it available to the guest. A gorgeous view of the lake and the most relaxing porch for viewing. All our adult family loved it. Also has the perfect setup for children of all ages.

Beautiful home that was super clean! An easy drive to Mammoth Cave. The owner was super responsive every time we had to contact her. Even with a slight problem that arose, she was kind and helpful, and we could tell she really cared that we enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the s'more fixings left out for us and enjoy them around the fire after spending the day down at the lake.

The cabin is perfect with beautiful views and a layout that is great for families. Some of our party could not make it so we had way more space than needed but it has a bedroom with 2 beds on ground floor which was ideal for my elderly parents. The cabin was superbly clean and had every amenity you could think of plus many thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience. I wish I’d discovered the cabin when my kids were little because they would have flipped over it even more as kids than as teens. The hosts were fabulous, kind, thoughtful and quick to communicate.

My family tries to get together every couple of years, because we all live in different states. We take turns picking the meeting point where we stay and this one was my pick. I'm pretty proud because it was exactly what I wanted, a place to relax and unwind. We did just that. The lake was beautiful and the cabin was very comfortable and felt like a second home away from home. I recommend it to anyone, 5-stars!

A group of us met up that have known each other online for years. It was one of our 40th birthday parties and the hosts went above and beyond to set up some surprises for our arrival. It was a beautiful cabin and would definitely suggest staying there. The view if the lake with a fire going was amazing as well.

This stay has been one of my favorite ever. Our extended family spent four days at Kentucky Kajun as we celebrated my daughter’s college graduation. The cabin was perfect. The hosts provided all the little extra touches that we didn’t even know we needed. From blankets by the fire pit and on every floor to a well stocked kitchen with many spices and necessities to candy in the entryway—we were treated every where we went. The outdoor area was amazing and had everything once again! We were so excited to find a balloon arch with congratulations for our daughter, as well as fun photo props and a mug full of candy. The cabin was clean and the beds were amazing. I could type positive things all day! I can’t wait to visit again!

Our host Cori, was informative, responsive, and thoughtful. She recognized our wedding, with balloons, congratulations and bride flip flops.
We were shocked by all of the equipment avaliable for our use. The kitchen was very well equipped with just about anything we might of needed. I could go on and on... ;-)

The Kentucky Kajun was perfect for our 2 families! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and plenty spacious. The views and sunsets were amazing! The climb down to the lake was a fun adventure - handled easily by the children (ages 9-14) and adults (40's). The hot tub and fire pit were fun to return to after a day of hiking, cave exploring, and kayaking. One of the best amenities of the Kentucky Kajun is the host!! Cori was phenomenal and provided excellent, detailed info about the surrounding areas and was very attentive to ensure we had a wonderful time. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of!

We met up with some Ohio friends for some R&R over spring break and WOW! We were so happy at the Kentucky Kajun. We had sunsets by the fire while the boys grilled. One night we all went to skip rocks at sunset and that was unforgettable.Kids loved the bunk room. We loved having our own bathrooms. Kitchen is STOCKED! I strongly encouraged you to bring your own fruits and vegetables because the dollar general nearby is very picked over. Overall 10 out of 10 highly recommend! Only con: A smell from nearby cattle comes and goes.

We met family in Kentucky as it was a midpoint between Chicago and Atlanta. The cabin and owners were incredible. The cabin was fully stocked and had everything we needed for an amazing reunion. The entire setup between the decks, fire pit, hot tub, and lake views were spectacular. Every little detail was thought of and available to include everything needed for snores. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the Kentucky Kajin.

I honestly cannnot say enough great things about this property! The cabin is simply perfect! It has everything you need to make you feel at home. You can certainly see that the owners take great pride is making sure that their property meets all your needs. It was a wonderful location for our girl’s weekend. We picked the coldest weekend of the year, but it was so cozy and the views were spectacular! We communicated with Cori about questions we had and she instantly replied to make sure we had the perfect stay. Their love for this property is evident! We are already trying to decide when we can go back!

Our family had a wonderful time staying in this gem of a rental! Cori goes above and beyond to make sure her guests feel welcomed to her beautiful home! We stayed around the holidays and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Location was great…peaceful runs in the morning and close enough for us to do tours at Mammoth Caves. We had stopped at Food Lion on our way from Nashville since there aren’t really any grocery stores nearby. Cori was great with communication to make sure our stay was the best it could be. We highly recommend this rental!

From the beginning, before ever stepping on the property my interactions wit Cori was pleasant from the get go.
She answered all my questions beforehand. The cabin itself was perfect for our family. It had such a cozy vibe and the grandkids had a blast with all the games and toys there. It was very quiet and relaxing with a view to boot. We will definitely plan for another trip in the future. Such a great spot to unwind with family.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin . The view is amazing overlooking the lake ! The beds were comfortable with warm cozy blankets . The kitchen was well appointed with all the amenities we needed to cook our meals . We loved the large dining table to gather around to eat our meals and chat . Comfortable seating in the living room to lounge on and share laughter and good times with more cozy blankets to snuggle up in ! The cabin has an awesome deck in back with lots of seating and great views .The check in was really easy as was the checkout. Cori was great to have as a hostess and we hope to return next year .

We were on a girls golf trip at Barren River and stayed three nights at the cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, gifts from the host, beautiful river view and tastefully decorated. The deck and deck furniture was so comfortable we stayed outside as much as possible! The fire pit and hot tub were amazing as well. This cabin was above and beyond expectations!! We will return😎

We had a group of 10 people stay at the Kentucky Kajun. We went fishing, hiking, shared great conversations at dinner and by the fire, visited a bourbon distillery, went to Mammoth Cave, horseback riding, boating, and to Nashville for a day. The house was clean, comfortable, and views were amazing. There was something for everyone. It was exactly as advertised if not better. I hope to go there again. Absolutely loved it !!!

We stayed at the Kentucky Kajun with our adult sons and their families including 5 kids from ages 2 to 9. There was something for everyone. The kiddos loved the lower level with games, toys, books and bunkbeds. The adults loved the full kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, spacious parking area, and of course the unbeatable view. Our host was fabulous--very responsive to questions and paid attention to every detail to make our stay comfortable. We will book this property again.

Family of 13 (10 adults 3 kids) all stayed in this house together. Such a beautiful home and loved having the views of the woods and lake behind us and the farm in front of us. The house was extremely clean and well kept up with. The hosts were very welcoming and have a ton of recommendations for the area. There is a lot to do in the area, we went to a lot of different parks and went to the Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo and Chaney’s Dairy Farm. Would stay here again.

Had a great long weekend at the Kentucky Kajunz the owners went all out with little things throughout the house such as snacks, water, fans in each room and some bathroom essentials. The cabin was beautiful and had an awesome view. Had a great weekend just hanging out with our adult children and our two little granddaughters. Would definitely recommend this to families

What a wonderful lake house! It was very clean and stocked with everything you will need. We had 4 generations staying together and everyone was comfortable. Loved the deck for morning coffee and the fire pit was a big hit for roasted marshmallows. The little ones loved all the toys! We will definitely return!

We enjoyed this cabin so much! They thought of everything!! It was so well furnished. We had 8 adults and we had plenty of room. It had so many homey touches. We loved everything about this cabin, from the well equipped kitchen to the wonderful fire pit. It was so convenient too. We enjoyed the beach at the state park while there. It is probably the best rental I’ve ever been to and can’t wait to plan another trip there. Thank you for making your cabin feel like home!
