Stunning renovated Victorian townhouse- decorated to an extremely high standard with beautiful bespoke furniture. The hosts were amazing and super friendly and great with advise on the area. The townhouse itself was close to the centre and we were able to park close by.

Couldn’t fault it at all

Everything about the place was excellent. The room was beautiful and spotless and the location was perfect with a 5 minute walk into town and 2 mins from the railway station. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area. By the way, the breakfast was delicious.

Everything! It was top class. Very beautifully decorated. Everything you could ever need was supplied. So many thoughtful touches & our host, Jane, was so lovely and accommodating. Thank you. We loved every moment there.

We didn’t stay there long enough!

Every small detail is thought about. It is a beautiful place that feels homely and you’re made to feel at home by the hosts.

The only slight downfall which is they don’t have any parking. However there is a pay and display carpark less than a five minute walk away. As I said it’s a tiny thing.

This is an exceptional place to stay - it feels luxurious. It’s beautiful, super comfortable, spotlessly clean and in a great location. There are lots of little details - from the number of hooks to hang coats etc on, to the bathroom toiletries - that show the hosts have really thought everything through. I highly recommend this B&B and would definitely stay here again.

Everything. This place is the real deal. just gorgeous. Jane the host has decorated this place with ultimate precision and thoughtfulness. The rooms are delightful. The linen on the ever so comfortable bed is top quality as are the diffusers, the soaps, bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. There is a little note pad by the bed in case you need to write something. The towels are luxurious and completely envelop you. There are eye wipes, cotton buds in the bathroom. A tea and coffee station with all that you need. A fridge just outside the room with fresh milk and a place to keep your purchases should you choose. The breakfast is amazing. Jane prepares a bircher muesli with yoghurt and fresh fruit and then you choose what you want from the menu. I can’t stress how fabulous this place is. Oh and there is a bath in the room. I don’t normally like a bath, but we had had a particularly bad day and that bath restored me. You must stay here 👍

A beautiful house and host. It was cold when we visited and the house was so warm and welcoming, as was Jane. The attention given to every little detail to make a stay at No22 perfect was outstanding. The breakfast choice was just right and delicious.

There was nothing that we didn't like.
