We hadden de iets luxere kamer waar je buiten voor je kamer kon zitten. Het hotel zelf is misschien wat gedateerd, maar dit werd gebalanceerd met alle kleine zaken die een verblijf aangenaam maken. Een goed bed, elke dag schone super zachte handdoeken, een fijne douche, zeer schoon en gezellige lampjes. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar goed met 3 keuzes. Personeel was vriendelijk en professioneel
Locatie was dicht bij La Fortuna maar net te ver om te lopen vonden wij. Meeste activiteiten net aan de andere kant van het stadje maar dit scheelde hooguit 5 minuten reistijd.

Our family of 5 shared two rooms here (also called Tangara Casonal Rustica) & would definitely stay here again - good location, clean & excellent value. The breakfast was delicious with multiple food selections and fresh juices. Birds served as a perfect alarm for us every morning. The location is right outside of La Fortuna - we had a rental car and were able to navigate to the sites easily. A gas station and small market was right down the road. We organized our own excursions, however many other guests were picked up from the hotel for their outings. We never encountered any needs - great breakfast, well maintained, amazing view of Arenal, safe & fridge in room, close to town without any noise - we had a great stay!
We liked everything!! The pool was a little cloudy and the smaller bathrooms are really the only two things I can think of that weren't great! It's certainly one of the best maintained 3 star hotels I've been to!

Loved our stay so much. Really nice rooms, breakfast was very good, staff really friendly. Could book tours from there but we had already done it ourselves
About a 25 minute walk into central town which we didn’t mind, but worth knowing if you don’t have a car

Mooie tuin , hele vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime kamer/bungalow, goede airconditioning, geen muggen, prima parkeren bij het hotel. Klein maar fijn zwembad met ligstoelen. Sympathiek. Ligt ietsje buiten Fortuna centrum en dat is prima
Ligt niet direct aan de doorgaande weg maar vooral vroeg in de ochtend kun je het vrachtverkeer toch horen. Als je licht slaapt valt het wel op.

Could hear group next door when they got a little noisy so maybe some noise insulation? They didn’t continue late so not a problem but could be if a less considerate group.

Posizione comoda e vicina al centro (5 min in macchina). Due Letti da una piazza e mezzo molto comodi. Colazione ottima. Staff molto gentile. Giardino ben curato, e ricco di vegetazione.
Luce nel bagno non funzionante per le due giornate di soggiorno.
Ci hanno messo una lampada a stelo provvisoria. Macchina esterna del condizionatore molto rumoroso.

It was a simple yet charming property. I liked the plants and open style kitchen area. The bungalows were cute. Everything was thoroughly cleaned. Cute pool.
The placement of the TV in the bungalow. Hurt my neck. There was a strange bug in my room on the last night. That’s to be expected given the location. There is also a nightclub nearby that played music until really late but that’s not within the property’s control.

Rien . Sauf éventuellement prévoir un tancarville, étendoir pour faire sécher le linge car nous avons eu pas mal de pluie. Notre linge était mouillé.

Estancia perfecta. El bungalow muy cómodo y limpio, el entorno muy bonito, a un minuto en coche de la localidad de la fortuna. El personal fue muy atento.

TODO❣️ supero mis expectativas. Las chicas de la cocina súper amables, nos sentimos como en casa y el menú muy completo. El contacto con la naturaleza y lo limpio de sus alrededores, sin olvidar la chica que limpio la habitación y nos dejaba hermosas figuras con las toallas.

Desayuno muy bueno, aunque falta opción de agua fría en la mesa de bebidas! La atención del personal que hicieron lo posible para solucionarnos los problemas que se presentaron en la habitación.
Al llegar la ducha tenía dos fugas, una que era una gota en la parte de la regadera y un chorro constante en la parte baja. Al momento de solicitar se solucione, lo que hicieron es poner telas para amortiguar el sonido, pero hasta que salimos no habían arreglado las fugas, por lo que el desperdicio de agua es enorme... De igual forma el lavabo estaba parcialmente tapado, y el agua de demoraba en irse... Me parece un precio caro para las condiciones de la habitación

Breakfast was super! Very original menu of typical Costa Rica food with a great service. Rooms were great, very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and so helpful to organize plans in El Arenal area (they reserved both ziplines and rafting activities for us)
